Gifeco is a scam sit that needs to be shut down and prosecuted

Actually this company gets ZERO stars but unfortunately that’s not an option. It’s a disgrace, if not criminal itself, that FaceBook allows it to continue to “advertise” on its platform. The ad is a complete sham.

I ordered two of what was described as Waldorf dolls that come each with a “big set of clothes.” They arrived naked, in cheap plastic accompanied by separate packages (one for each) of poor quality clothing items. One clothing package contained a dress and some sort of fur ... collar? The other contained a pair of bloomer shorts, a checked top with straps and a hair bow. Mind you, one package is supposed to be a “big set of clothes” for one doll. Seriously?

In the advertisement, the dolls I chose (Selena and Evelyn) were fully dressed with dress, leggings (Evelyn), shoes, sweater, scarf, and purse. Each had different color hair. The two dolls I received are the exact same. If choosing the dolls based on hair color is not an option, why are different dolls with different names even shown? Apparently, as I discovered too late, it’s because all of the photos on their Facebook as and on their website are STOLEN from the real Waldorf Doll Shop. The reviews on their site must also be stolen or faked.

This scam site needs to be shut down and the perpetrators prosecuted.

SCAMMERS!

SCAMMERS!
If could rate no stars, I would! I paid for 2 handmade dolls each were to come with handmade clothing sets. I paid $60.00 for these items. They sent me 4 very cheap doll clothes and states I only paid for the doll dresses. After arguing for days in an email. I finally sent her a copy of my bill that showed I paid for dolls and clothes. Now the company wants to refund only half of my purchase. This company needs to be reported and shut down!!! So, if you really want to know how many stars??? 0, a big fat 0!!!! They let 2 little girls down for Christmas and they do not care!!

Horrible!!!

Yup- this company is a a scam. False advertising and going back and forth with them. They do not want me to return but give me a $20 compensation. I will be reporting to Paypal not sure how that will do anything. Lesson learned - look up any company's reviews that you have never dealt with!!

Learning experience with Gifeco (and PayPal)…

Don't buy from this Gifeco website! They are scammers. The website is a total fake, populated by idyllic images of what seems idyllic artisans producing idyllic dolls. The fact is that the company behind the website, at least on my PayPal account, is called LYD Information Technology CO. LTD and is located in China. They have a facade e-mail (no phone numbers to contact them) with the suggestive name of "Victoria Smith" and a business address at 1100 Cranbury South River Rd, Monroe Township, apparently in New Jersey. Gifeco has also the black humor of reassuring potential customers with a catchy "Scam Warning: A letter to buyers" at their homepage.

On November 9th, I placed an order at gifeco.com for a handmade Waldorf doll, ("Christine"), with an extra "big set of clothes". Only by December 2nd, when I opened a dispute at PayPal and after Gifeco dismissed my emails requesting to cancel my order, I was dryly contacted by Gifeco with a tracking number. Finally, I received a package on December 26th. And...surprise! I had the same experience that many others describe. From the cute "Christine" I bought, which is pictured on their website wearing hat, scarf, sweater, dress, and shoes, I only received a naked and plain-looking doll (look at my picture ID), accompanied by a single, lackluster dress.

And then, I finally heard from PayPal. They declined and closed my dispute case because the seller had shipped the item. I dumped PayPal too and closed my account with them.

Summarizing, avoid Gifeco like the plague, spread the word, and purchase your Waldorf doll elsewhere. And more importantly, think twice before you buy on the Internet, if you still believe PayPal is a reliable pal.

My review is similar to all the other reviews. Don't order from them! We ordered a doll on Oct. 20th. It's now near Christmas. After 2 emails, no reply from them.
Pretty sure my money is gone. If you notice on their website they say the doll may take 22 days to come. My only hope is that Paypal can help somehow.

Ripped off!

Same thing as so many others. I ordered a doll with “big set of clothes” Got two cheaply made dresses with no doll. Have been corresponding back and forth. I expect to get nothing. One of the responses even said I didn’t order a doll, even though I gave a screenshot of my receipt that clearly said doll. Ridiculous. Obvious rip off. Pay for a doll, get two cheap dresses. AND it took weeks to receive this disappointing trash. Now asking for return information and compensation. Ha! Right. Stay away from these people.

I ordered 2 dolls back September and finally got the wrong doll few weeks ago, cheap pieces of clothes, the doll is nothing great, I could have done better. I've been asking for my money back and this lady keeps offering me $10 to $20 to compensate me and allow me to keep the doll which I have told them 3 times I don't want it. I'm still out 1 doll which I don't want and keep telling her I just want to be reimbursement in full. I wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered them. Her name is Victoria Smith

Scam using images of actual dolls sold on Instagram

This is a scam. They took images from a woman named Taisiya Stepina in Ukraine who legitimately sells her dolls on Instagram and Facebook under the name Taisoid. Probably from other dollmakers too. These scammers use an algorithm to find posts where people have asked how to buy something, and then they steal those pics and "sell" those items on their site. You can check for yourself. Look up the name on the box that is pictured with these dolls (Stepina). You'll find a ton of different sites all advertising the same dolls, and then you'll find the real site. You can even see her making the dolls.
