This site is horrible! I just tried to purchase they charge my card then auto send a email saying they can not process my order and that my refund can take up to 10 days. What a waiste of time. Even if the refund does come back why cant anyone there get these things right? You just provided a negative experience for a paying customer who will never come back.

Tonight I tried to buy my child a gift card for the straight As he got on the report card.
Then I get an email from them saying my card was attempted twice, and it was because my bank does not trust them I guess, anyway I got it to go thru from my checking account.
Then they canceled my order and said I could wait 10 days for a refund.
No, they cannot keep my cash for 10 days because I have a gift card to buy from a legit gift card site.
This place sucks, they should not be allowed to steal cash for days raking in interest on my money.

Purchased a $270 visa gift card. Immediately cancelled, claiming they could not verify my identity and said the charge was only a temporary hold and would be removed. Nope. Charge went thru and will be several days if not weeks before I get it back. Then sent me an email
“As the gift card industry is highly regulated, our agents cannot provide further details as to the specific reasons your transaction was declined. Unfortunately, we are unable to process future orders from this account.“

Tried multiple times to place online order with this $250 gift card to no avail. All purchases were under the cards dollar value. Each merchant (Macy's, Home Depot, Staples, etc) denied the card stating "not a valid card number. No response from company except to tell me the they do not control what merchants are willing to accept the card! Asked for a list of merchants who WOULD accept the card but no response. Use this company and basically you are making a donation to scammers.

Recipient could not redeem card and no one could help. A total waste of money. I did the chat but that didnt work well, spoke with customer service reps who said i could not get my money back. Much better to buy card from the retailer or from visa or Master Card directly so you will have options if there is a problem. Lots of people have used giftcardgranny and it worked, but not for me and that money was all i had to give so the person I was trying to help with groceries didn't receive anything but I'm sure giftcard granny made money...... so the poor suffer and the rich get richer

Sent one to my father and one to my Uncle. Father used it once for 20.00 fuel and my Uncle never could use it. My fathers was 450.00 dollars and my Uncles was 100.00. Balance is zero on both now and this is the second time it happened. Granny owes me over 400.00

Don’t even bother after they deny you 4 times they will repetitively say oh we can’t tell you why you was denied caused we are regulated but may take 7 days to put the money back in your bank! Making you completely miss the holidays. Trash go waste your time and money somewhere else
"Errors" are rampant trying to redeem gift card. Finally my IP was blocked. Fraudulent site.
FYI to frustrated GCG physical card users…
When I called the number on the $100 visa gift card, activated it and pin made, balance was $100 as expected. Expiration 12/30 (2030, not Dec 30). Had tried using throughout the year in stores and online, as credit only, also attempted Amazon “refund balance”. Each time”not authorized” or “denied” came up. I called a number related to GCG (not on card or website) and was able to get a real phone number for GCG Support. 1-831-274-7473. Wait time was longer than stated, but did get someone to talk to and help. Apparently, in early 2024 many cards were “suspended” due to rampant fraud use. They do not publicize this. Call to confirm this and get the card “unsuspended”. Awaiting confirmation email/callback.
If I could give negative stars, I would. I bought a $100 gift card which was never received. They charged my credit card and when I tried to contact them it was impossible. I tried to use their chat box and my message was deemed too long. When I tried to call their number it was a noisy typing kind of sound making it impossible to use!
If I could have given a Zero I would have. I received one card out the 2 I ordered. Customer service emails were answered quickly, but they kept telling me to wait. After 2 weeks I canceled and got my money back. Won't use again.
2 weeks ago I would have said this was a great company, how time and lousy customer service change things! I am a returning customer (I've ordered from them about 6 different times). I have a credit card with a $500 limit, and a debit card (with only the limit of how much I have in my account). IT IS CHRISTMAS TIME so I ordered (1) $50 card and (1) $200 card on my CREDIT CARD, everything went through without a problem. Then I placed an order (5) cards of $200 each, on my DEBIT CARD. My bank is Johnny On the Spot and called me to verify. I spoke to the woman at the bank and everything was good. I called my kids and told them "Christmas is on its way"... then I got a notice FROM GIFT CARD GRANNY to tell me that THEY CANCELLED the order!! Whaaaat?!?!? And for what reason??? So I (attempted) to speak to someone there, YOU CANNOT SPEAK TO A HUMAN!! So I placed a new order of only (2) $200/each cards. Sent them a message and explained everything. My order said it was completed and I have the confirmation number. Then I look at my email AND THEY HAVE CANCELLED IT AGAIN!! I can go somewhere else and get something just as good, with better customer service. And from a company that appreciates my business. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN!!!!

My complaint to the regulators.
I want a copy of my complaint sent to the IL AG and also the FTC. I am sick and tired of not only being cheated and ripped off every day of my life but then having to waste half of my day writing out complaints to all of the regulators when companies like this commit fraud to steal people's money and float an interest-free loan for a week to run their business or buy supplies for their business at the customer's expense!! That is FRAUD!!!!! JC Pennys tried to do this to me in the past too and I reported it to all of you and now this "Gift Card Granny" business is doing the same. It is awful strange too how they always pull it on a weekend, which then gives them three extra days on top of the following five-day week to "USE MY MONEY" and if they are doing this to millions of people, they probably have cut their interest costs by millions!!!! I also could not get them to call me back after my order was placed, it went through with my debit card and I received the receipt which is attached, but then they turned around and canceled it my bank told me; almost ten minutes after the transaction had cleared and gave me no reason for doing so. I had no problem sending a card the same way with another business either, so it is on their end, not mine or my son's. I know what they are doing as I have worked for the government and in commercial and investment banking as well as retail during most of my 41-year career. There is no reason that they or the bank could not reverse and credit my funds immediately AND the order should not have even been canceled, to begin with. They just wanted to use my money for a week. I then called Discover Bank and they said they could see what they had done and that they did cancel it with no reason and reversed the money, but that the money takes a full 3-7 days to go back into my account, especially since it is on a weekend. They also pull this same thing around the holidays for the same reason; to hang onto the money longer. I know they and the bank are lying about how long it takes to move the money back to my account, as the same thing happened with JCPenny this time last year and they said the same until they found out I used to work for the IRS and was calling to report them, then all of the sudden the money was in my account the next day!!! I have attached a copy of the processed order and emails. Currently, the money is showing pending in my Discover checking as if it is waiting to release the funds back into my account. Gift Card Granny did nothing but send the emails, they never would call me. I will NEVER do business with them again and will tell everyone I know not to do so, they are crooks!!!
I want my $103.95 put back into my account and I want Gift Card Granny fined and shut down, they also need to be investigated for financial fraud as they are doing this, just like JC Penny does, and the banks should also be investigated into why it takes a full week to reverse a transaction and put the money back into a customers account when it only takes a second to remove the money from the customers account! People need to take all of their money out of the banks, put it in a safe, and stop shopping for ANYTHING!!!!
Terrible customer service. Couldn't claim my gift card. I was logged in with my email but it kept saying invalid email. Customer service had no idea what to do. They wouldn't refund the sender of the gift card. So no gift card and no refund
