Be wary of buying their snug & cosy dog…

Be wary of buying their snug & cosy dog products via Debenhams. I returned a dog bed and was met with rudeness from their customer services. I had to pay for the full cost of return even though I'd had free delivery originally. I was then told I had to wait for Debenhams to refund me. Neither company has refunded the money to date even though they confirmed receipt of the return. I had to make a charge back with my bank.

Worst Service

In 2022, I purchased a Glendale gazebo from Polhill Garden Centre, with whom I have no gripe. I have tried to communicate with Glendale Garden & Leisure, Birmingham multiple times via email and phone, and each time I’m promised someone will look into my query, but nothing ever materialises. This is concerning, especially concerning as these gazebos cost over £500 and it seems they do not offer replacement parts or indeed customer service.
When I contacted Polhill Garden Centre, a place I've trusted for over 30 years, I was disappointed to learn that they no longer list Glendale products. They explained that their decision stemmed from Glendale's poor communication and customer service. Instead, they recommended I visit Gazebo Spare Parts, online, but sadly, the part I need isn’t available there.
In my professional life, customer development and retention were always a priority, so I find it very strange that Glendale's management seems to have such disregard for repeat business, as the majority of suppliers only stock their products for one season. Perhaps the business is being run at a deliberate loss to offset tax on another business! The gazebo itself is actually quite a good one!

Stuck for 17 days with useless order and no refund!

Ordered two expensive matching recliner garden chairs on 8th Sept 25. Both arrived 4 days later, one was faulty, both arms of the chair were broken and detached. Sent a short video as requested via Robert Dyas who I ordered through. It's now 28th Sept and both chairs are still boxed and unused in my house. No response on the refund, no communication on the collection date. Horrendous service and not a reputable company. Beware ordering through reputable company as Robert Dyas have been trying to contact them, as have I, directly. Glendale do not answer the phone or respond to emails and they sell through third parties and there is no function to make a complaint. AVOID!

Avoid at all costs

Placed an order on B&Q not realising it was actually a verified seller known as Glendale Garden & Leisure.
Order never arrived, tried contacting them via B&Q website and they never replied. B&Q tried to contact them and got no response. After googling this account and seeing the negative reviews and that it seems to be a grotty looking lockup in Birmingham which confirms the type of business they are. Strongly recommend avoiding this company. Be careful when ordering on respectful Company websites!
