Scammy Bait-and-Switch Tactics Used
Beware of this company.
They accepted payment for my order placed on their own website and confirmed the order with an email. When I went to collect the item, they claimed that it was the website that auto-confirmed, not a human, therefore they are not bound to produce the item.
Wasted my time to come down to the store to collect the item. Dared to tell me I should have known that their price is too good to be true.
In other words, they themselves knew they were listing a fake price to trap buyers, placing the onus on the buyer to do research and decide if it the price was a scam. However, the price stated was not so low that it was obviously an error; it was entirely possible it was a promotional price. Furthermore, the item had the original price of $219 shown with a strike through and replaced with the current price of $119. A few minutes after I left the discounted price was removed from the website. So they knew their scam had been exposed.
