My eldest loves visiting here. Would be nice if there was a bit more variation between sites but overall plenty to do and well organised.

We had such a great experience at Go Ape Chelmsford - this is our second visit now and the staff are really amazing, especially with my neurodivergent son. I was so impressed. The atmosphere was calm, they are competent and relaxed - especially Jem who was so kind and accommodating. Thank you everyone, we've just bought an annual pass so we'll be back!

I don’t often leave a review, but the staff at Go Ape yesterday were lovely and friendly from the staff at front desk to the staff showing kids what to do with the harness nothing was to much trouble for them they were helpful and friendly

Had a great experience today at the Blackburn site. I’m sorry but I did not catch names. My autistic son Ethan is 8 years old, sensory seeking. He loved every minute of it. The staff were amazing- thanks again and hopefully see you soon.

Myself and my girlfriend jade went to Cannock Chase Go Ape and it was amazing! All of the staff were so friendly and funny! They truly made the experience a special one. We've been to 5 other locations of Go Ape and I have to say the service provided by all of the staff collectively was phenomenal. While we do intend to attend all other Go Ape locations in the coming months. I have to say , we will definitely come back to Cannock Chase because the people are so friendly and bubbly, funny relaxed and kind and understanding!

Great experience.
The staff were all really professional and super positive and encouraging to my son.
Every person on site did their jobs well, with regular safety checks on our harnesses (all staff) and a thorough safety briefing (Dylan).
The guy who took us up for the Tarzan swing and plummet was really encouraging and helped my son with the confidence to step off the platform for the plummet and the lady at the counter was really helpful with the booking in process and was lovely with my son after, giving him a certificate and stickers and he left with a big smile on his face.
Please pass on our thanks to all the team.

A big mention to all the staff at the Delamere site, all friendly and informative, made sure that the kids understood the safety rules. A special mention to Oliver who came to the aid of my grandson who froze and was in tears after the first section, walked him around the remainder of the course, left 5 year old Gene feeling very proud of himself, even made my Son go down the zip wire when he tried to wimp out 😂

75 years old and on a Segway for the first time ... I'm daft enough to act like a youngster and thoroughly enjoyed it ... must point out that our instructor Louise was more worried about me than I was and she went out of her way to make sure I was ok ... lovely nature, lovely smile ... deserves a huge payrise.

Took my son Ethan to Go Ape at Alexandra Palace and he had a blast! We did the Aerial Challenge, which was a 2-hr experience. Great fun for a birthday treat and a really enjoyable active adventure. Have to shout out Ronaldo who was a brilliant trainer - great attitude, friendly and really encouraging when Ethan was anxious about the plummet at the end. Thank you!

Very disappointed that I asked to reschedule a a visit that I booked giving 46 hours notice (just under the 48). I rang Thursday and was booked to go Saturday. The reason for this amendment was because a met office weather warning of wind and rain was putting in place. I was attending with 3 small children one of whom has autism , so for me to attend in these circumstances would have been very inappropriate , dangerous and not a pleasant experience. The fact that I had already paid just under £80 for this , not including the £10 for on the day parking, I was very disappointed to hear that I’d then have to pay an extra £5 to change the booking. Surely these circumstances should be honoured, penalised for being a responsible parent with a disabled daughter

We had an amazing time at Buxton Go Ape!!
It was tough (and a bit scary at times!) but so much fun!!!
The location was stunning!!! The staff were brilliant, wonderfully kind and encouraging, and explained everything so well and in a way that we could understand while still making it fun.
We felt safe and supported by the staff the whole time, who were always on hand if/when we needed them.
The whole experience was very well organised, and the staff made sure we all had a fantastic time and such a memorable day out!
We are really looking forward to coming back again!
Thank you so much!!!

We had an incredible day at Go Ape Cockfosters in the Treetop Challenge
6 friends in our own wee group- Paula was the best instructor. She made the ‘training’ a lot of fun, was always around the course to give us encouragement when we (I) got a bit scared. Would highly recommend and I can’t wait to go back for Challenge Plus!!!

We went to Go Ape Cannock to.do the Treetop challenge for a family day out, Two adults and a 13 & 12 Yr old. We all thoroughly enjoyed it, and stepped out of our comfort zone. Some of the highropes were challenging, but still fun and the zipwires were ace! Aaron was our guide, and was brilliant. Very helpful and friendly, and made us all feel at ease. He explained all the safely rules well, and checked in on us a few times throught the course. Without his support it would of been a different experience. We would 100% reccomend this experience but we also reccoment wearing gloves!!! Our hands are very sore 🤣

Super fun day out, I went out on a first date here and it was great. We met this employee called Jordan and he was super nice and cool, always there to help. Tip: don’t wear your nicest jeans there if it’s raining or go for a first date if you’re afraid they’ll get the ick- but if theyre the right person they won’t

We had an absoluely fanastic team building experience for 19 ay the Chessington site. The team at Go Ape Chessington couldn't have done more for us, they were kind, thorough, efficient and very helpful. Our instructor Ben was brilliant, he was clear with his instruction, very entertaining, and extremely happy. Saying that, we couldn't fault a single member of the team. Well worth a visit!

I think it's far too expensive!
A family with just 1 child & a parent doing it
would costs over £70 it's a shame it's priced so high
I don't think it's worth the money.

We had an amazing time and the whole family did different levels of the Go Ape adventures. Would highly recommend, staff were really friendly and helpful. We went in this last Sunday 17th of August and just want to praise one staff member especially. PiP you were amazing when my little girl was struggling with the adventure+ course. Thank you for being so patient, keeping an eye on her throughout and looking after her when she was struggling at the end. Great fun x

Brilliant fun! Tree Top Challenge. Staff were friendly, helpful and appeared to care that we were both safe and having a good time. Supportive and encouraging when we got scared and made us feel great when we conquered our fears. My only gripe was that we had to pay for parking even though we had paid quite a lot already for the Experience.
Very disappointing and unsettling experience at Go Ape Cannock Chase
Our recent visit to Go Ape Cannock Chase was unfortunately marred by a deeply concerning incident involving a member of staff named Izzy.
During our time at the park, we witnessed Izzy shout at a minor who was clearly distressed and had requested help on three separate occasions after becoming stuck on the zip line.
Rather than offering the support and reassurance expected from someone in her position, Izzy displayed highly unprofessional and even threatening behaviour toward the child.
This kind of conduct is absolutely unacceptable, especially in an environment that caters to families and young participants.
When we raised our concerns with the team leader, we were alarmed to be told that Izzy has known issues with anger.
I found this incredibly troubling, if such behavioural issues are known, then she should not; in my opinion be working directly with children.
Soon after, the duty manager approached us to gather our account of the situation. While we appreciated him listening and offering vouchers to use at any of the 37 Go Ape locations as a gesture of goodwill, the incident had already left a very negative impression.
Although the child involved was not one of our own children, witnessing the event was extremely uncomfortable and upsetting.
For these reasons, we will not be returning to the Cannock Chase location and cannot, in good conscience, recommend it to other families. We hope Go Ape takes this feedback seriously and reviews its policies around staff suitability and conduct, especially when it comes to child safety and support.
On a more positive note, we would like to highlight Bromley, another member of staff, who was extremely helpful and polite throughout the day. It’s a shame that the overall experience was tainted by the behaviour of one individual, as Bromley's professionalism was a stark contrast.
Mallards Pike in The Forest of Dean is a great place to experience.
I am 72 quite fit, though not a gym frequenter. I wanted to see what this experience consisted of. I discovered that not all Go Ape locations provide the same experience. This one specialises in trees - appropriate considering the location.
My friend (aged 74) and I turned up with mixed emotions of excitement and trepidation. There were several of us in the time-allotted group. Amazingly, Rhys, who had greeted us at the cabin, had remembered everyone's name when it came to fitting us up with harnesses and running through what each of the attachments was for and how to apply them. He and his colleagues were tirelessly patient, cheerful and thorough.
The experience itself started with a very challenging Tarzan swing that went into a rope net. This had to be climbed in order to reach the platform. That was the TOUGH bit. I discovered that my legs were less powerful than my arms! (Will get that sorted immediately)
After that the treetop challenges became easier as you continued. There are Five courses each ends with a zip wire to the ground. That's when you can decide if you've had enough or want to go onto the next course. My friend valiantly completed the Third course (which is the longest) and then decided it was enough. I was up for the Fourth course which I consider to be the hardest and then I went onto the Fifth course which had another Tarzan swing and net at the end. I was grateful that they had provided the opportunity to avoid that and take the zip wire down, one stop before it.
Needless to say we took longer than most people - 4hours. However, the staff assured us that we were not causing them to work overtime and that they didn't 'close' until the last person was finished - me! 1.30 until 5.30, harness on to harness off.
Thanks so much all of you. You have given me something to shout about!
