Company is absolute trash! Avoid at all cost

Company is absolute trash!! I was lied to by the sales rep that knocked on my door offering services that the company does not even provide. After speaking to the technicians and finding out that rodent exclusion services were not available, i called their office hoping to find a resolution. I was met with zero help or any alternatives to resolve the issue. They dismissed the whole fact that i was lied to and was more worried about collecting the $199 cancellation fee. I discontinued services and asked to speak to a supervisor. Again i was met with no help and a bit of hostility. I was told “Your services has been cancelled, you will not receive any more calls from us and that you will have to pay the $199 early cancellation fee. That is all.” Basically i feel defrauded. I have no problem paying for the services that was provided but the cancellation fee should have been waived since i cancelled due to being lied to and the company are unable to provide the services i specifically needed. Avoid this company at all cost if you don’t want to have your money stolen from. If you see anyone at your door with that Aptive shirt on just kindly slam the door on their face and tell them they are trespassing. This was a horrible experience that hopefully no one else should encounter. I literally paid a total of $429 for 1 month of service. What a joke!!!

Poor Service updated 5/29/2026

I have advised this company more than three times to service my property after 1 PM ( when I am persent)each month, so that the entire property is completely sprayed , both inside and outsie my home. I have asked for a 2 hr, window of time upon their arrival. That is never done. Appaarently they expect me to wait around all day for representative to arrive, as written notification gives only the day they will arrive for service. I am then billed for entire service when when completing about 1/3rd of the job. This is not only extremely poor coustomer service but incomplete service. Would advise to avoid this pest control service.
Update5/29/2026: spoke to representative and scheduled a follow up visit for 5/28/2026 between 8 am and noon. Service rep neither showed nor called. What a waste of my time with this company!!! Avoid this pest control company at all cost. BUYER BEWARE. I would give this company a ZERO STAR RATING, if that were possible.

Very poor service

Schedule appointments and don’t show up. Show up when there is no appt. Says they came and they did not.

Used to be great. Have gone way downhill don’t know how long I will continue to use them.

Technician did not communicate as per…

Technician did not communicate as per past visits. No check in, check out or inquiries. This is the first time this has happened. All previous visits the assigned technician has communicated well.

He found wasp nests that were so hidden…

He found wasp nests that were so hidden I hadn't noticed them. I always look for them in the spring. He got them down. He sprayed well all around.
I forgot to point out the weird snails (with pointy houses) that leave trails all over--they always hide when Aptive comes.

Past Review Edit

I cannot find my previous review to edit it. Spoke to the service tech yesterday. My review was about the company and not him. I had previously called and cancelled my appt and changed to another day. He was sent out on the cancelled day anyway and we had no idea he was coming or what time. He came at 7 am - we were not awake and he had no access to the garage or backyard.
I was not his fault. He did a great job when he came back out on the 14th.
