We are using Goby car all the time we are in Tenerife. Great and fast service all the time.

The staff were very helpful to find us a solution and were very helpful when we needed to go back and make changes also, great service.

The rental experience (pick-up, car, return) was great. The staff at Girona Airport was very helpful.
The star deducted from the rating is due to the car not being equipped for winter driving in any way whatsoever.
We rented the car for a ski trip to the Pirenees. I know that all-season tires (nevermind winter tires) are not mandatory in Spain, but there are areas where snow chains (or alternatives) are mandatory to have in the car (or mounted) in certain conditions. The rental company doesn't offer the possibility of renting such equipment (as other rental companies do) and you end up forced to buy it and then abandon it when leaving.
I know my use case is quite specific, but not having 3 or 4 sets of (quite inexpensive for them) chains (that they can rent out and make money out of) and forcing you to deal with this is a headache.
For 90-95% of users I would recommend them, but be careful when you plan to visit areas that might experience snowfalls or temperatures under 3-4°C.

Small problem finding meeting place at arrival because last mail with guidance came in spam

Everything worked perfectly except that it was a little difficult to find the right place where the bus would pick us up at the airport.

I often rent cars from Gobycar and always have the best service.

Smooth pick up & drop off, hassle free experience if premium insurance coverage selected.
However I am giving 4 stars i/o 5 because my chosen vehicle was not available to us during pick up.

Everything was fine, efficient delivery and collection of the car, no problems whatsoever, it is worth booking directly on their website and purchasing additional insurance.

Perfect service. Shuttle was waiting for us at airport arrival. Just make sure to go to the 2nd "B" panel, and cross the street (do not cross at first "B" panel).
At the office the service was also quick and easy. We had their own full insurance, what made the return process smooth, without discussion on any potential damage.
We could also re-dress in their bathrooms, what is far more convenient than doing this in the airport.

The car was a complete disaster on the outside. It was full of damage and scratches, and I felt embarrassed to drive it.
When returning the car, I was accused of scratching the rim. The supposed damage (about the size of a fingernail), which I did not cause, was on exactly the same side where the car already had visible damage from front to back.
The rental company could not prove that the scratch wasn’t already there before my rental period, yet I was still charged for it. I did not cause any additional damage to the vehicle, but the company insisted on charging me anyway.
It feels like you've supposedly thrown a used coffee cup at a tip and are then accused of causing the entire tip.
I would never rent a car with them again.
Update:
I contacted Gobycar as requested. Unfortunately, the outcome was the same: they cannot prove that the damage wasn’t already there before my rental, but I still have to pay.
