Excellent service, they collect you from the meeting point at FUE airport across from the terminal and the hire is cheaper than the rest, they make it simple and return the car full as when collect and fly home, simple service.

We rented Toyota Yaris and was perfect for the demanding roads of Tenerife.

We booked the car through their own website and also got full insurance and a second driver.

The check in and was quick. At the checkout the car was checked, but everything went quite fast.

Also, very efficient pickup and drive from and to airport, we didn’t wait more than 5 minutes for each pickup.

Everything was well organized and synced ( only 10mn of wait for the shuttle). I had a small vehicule with premium insurance

No queue, no fuss. I was upsold a better car but without the pressure you normally get. Return was just as simple. I always go straight to Gobycar for car hire in the canaries and will look out for them when I go to Spain later on in the year.

The shuttle bus runs every 10–15 minutes, which is very convenient. The car pickup process at the office was quick and efficient, and no additional services were pushed or imposed. The car was in perfect condition, both inside and out. Overall, a very positive experience — I will definitely use this service again!

We hired a car from gobycar in fuerteventura for a week great car good service did spend some time queuing at the office for collection but thats the same at most places when a few places land at the same time with no forceful attempt to sell us unnecessary extra insurance....return was very quick and simple and we actually recived our full deposit back into our account within 2 days that has never happened before normally takes 5 days...we definitely recommend..the only small fault is that the meeting place to where the bus picks you up isn't signed up but the directions are clear ..

Although the experience with Go By Car was without any hassle - we missed out on our potential 10% discount - not established at time of booking due to poor customer information service !

Car was in perfect condition, clean and prepared for a ride. At the office was also everything perfect. Returning was for me contactless, as I had full coverage. So I parked car on the parking lot of the GOBYCAR a left the keys in the box. Within two hours since that, I received an email with confirmation of return and my credit card deposit was released immediately. Car was of category I ordered maybe higher. I ordered Seat Leon AUT and received Mini Countryman AUT. More space but worse drivetrain. Overall perfect experience. I will definitely return to GOBYCAR again.

Great service, very polite personnel, quick and easy pick up/ drop off

I rented an Opel Astra from you, but when I came to pick it up, they gave me a Hyundai Bayon. When I was choosing a car, I was looking for that kind of car because I got a Hyundai, which is a class lower than the Opel Astra in terms of engine, power, and options. This really upset me. This car, with three passengers on board, can't handle the mountains that make up the island. It simply doesn't have enough power. And most importantly, they told me at the office that there are no Opel Astras on Tenerife at all! Please correct this error and don't indicate that you can rent such a car in Tenerife. Then I'll be expecting something completely different.

Polite staff, prompt service, low hassle and good price. Have used them several times and always had good experience. Many other companies can not match this level of consistency.

The cars are excellent quality and staff are amazing. Only issue was no one came to collect us from airport to take to office for car. We were unable to speak to anyone on the phone as just voicemail. Lots of people was waiting for well over an hour with no contact from Goby.

Very disappointing experience. A technical issue occurred during the rental (the car suddenly wouldn’t start), which was not our fault. Despite this, we were charged a high assistance fee without our consent and without being informed of the price in advance.
The amount charged was excessive — higher than the cost of renting the car for two weeks.
Our complaint was rejected without evidence and without any fair attempt to resolve the issue.
Not recommended.

I have read a lot of different feedbacks regarding GoByCar and not all of them were positive. I had certain doubts but still I have chosen them to rent a car at Tenerife. This was an EXCELLENT expereince. Shuttle takes you from Tenerife airport (by the way the most of over companies also have parkings outside the airport so no difference). VERY friendly and hepful personnel. We were given a better car for free. The car was definitely used (does it really matter for the car rented for several days :)?) but quite tidy and reliable wihle driving at the mountain side. Very fast and simple procedure of getting the car and the same for the return - just ensure you have bought the FULL insurance from the GoByCar (and that is really cheep). We have booked a car+insurance at the company's web site in advance. Overall Cost-Benefit is highly competitive! Prices are uncredably cheep in comparison to other 'world famous' providers. Definitely will use GoByCar again!!!
