Customer service is top notch. Needed to have my old domain to go with my new website, so I had to call in. They had it up and going in an hour. Explained everything well for us to create our own website on Airo AI builder.

My experience with GoDaddy started well — purchasing a domain was smooth and straightforward. I also signed up for their email hosting.

That’s when things quickly went downhill. While setting up the emails on my mobile device, I ran into persistent technical issues. Over two weeks, I made 8 phone calls to tech support. Each time I was promised a callback the same day (which never happened), told the issue would be escalated, and assured it was being handled.

In reality, there was no record of any escalation when I followed up, and cases were repeatedly marked “resolved” without any fix. The problem was only resolved when I finally called to cancel the email hosting.

While cancelling, a technician gave me a demo of Airo AI Builder (GoDaddy’s AI website builder). It looked impressive, so I signed up for the Professional plan (300 credits per month). I was not told it was still in beta.

What followed was extremely frustrating. The AI agent has so many glitches that I had to repeat the same requests dozens of times for basic tasks. Each failed attempt burned through my credits and wasted hours of my time. Essentially, I was paying to beta-test their product. When I contacted support about the excessive credit waste and asked for a goodwill credit adjustment, they refused.

To be fair: When Airo works well, it is genuinely powerful and can save a lot of time. But the frequent failures, combined with inadequate support, made it a costly and disappointing experience.

GoDaddy needs to significantly improve both their traditional support and the stability of Airo before charging customers to help test it. I would not recommend them based on this experience.

A GoDaddy.com technician deleted our Mrwiseelectric.com website that we investigated about 60 hours plus the Airo beta cost and website team cost for. As we loose customers and ranking by the day, GoDaddy has not resolve this matters Our website named Mrwiseelectric.com was deleted on or around 06/14/2026 by your tech agent named Terry Jenkins. The website was built in Airo. We believe that Terry’s lack of communication skills and his lack of following specific instructions to delete misterwiseelectric.com, which was built in Wordpress led to this error. His deleting Mrwiseelectric.com has cost us to loose many customers. When I contacted GoDaddy.com regarding this matter, although I bought the Airo website builder on 05/15/2026, along with many points following that purchase, the GoDaddy technical agents insisted that me and my website developer team never built the Mrwiseelectric.com website. The building of that website took about 60 hours to build. There is proof that the website under the domain named Mrwiseelectric.com was built on the Airo platform via GoDaddy.com, who hosted the site. There are traces of Mrwiseelectric.com that are showing on Google.com when you search for it. The Airo logo that shows V3 in purple shows. I paid GoDaddy.com on 05/15/2026 in full for the Airo website builder. I paid GoDaddy for points to edit the Mrwiseelectric.com site. Before the technician deleted the Mrwiseelectric.com site, things were going so well with the Airo website builder that I requested that the technician delete the existing previous used Wordpress website builder, and purchased another Airo website builder for our other domain named tristateselectrician.com. Our website developer and I spend about 60 hours building the Mrwiseelectric.com website. It been devastating that the technician deleted our Mrwiseelectric.com that was built in Airo website builder, instead of deleting the Wordpress website named misterwiserlectric.com. If you listen to my phone conversation with the GoDaddy.com technician named Terry Jenkins, you will understand that he was clearly instructed to delete misterwiserlectric.com instead of Mrwiseelectric.com, because Mrwiseelectric.com was spelled out several times to him along with the specific instructions. These pictures show that Mrwiseelectric.com was built in the Airo website builder and the pages were published to Google via the Airo website builder which I purchased on 05/15/2026 and bought hundreds of dollars worth of points for the purpose of editing the Mrwiseelectric.com. GoDaddy.com has not provided a solution for this problem, although I was told that the team would contact me a day ago. No one has contacted me with a solution, although I expressed the matter clearly to several GoDaddy agents. Most of seem to get confused by basic instructions. I have paid a website developer team, who witnessed and had started to edit the Mrwiseelectric.com website on the GoDaddy Airo website builder.

If you use GoDaddy DON'T USE Airo Ai "Free" assistance to build your website! I had to upgrade three times to publish my webpage, and it cost me over $80, and most of my time was spent fixing what the Ai messed up! Don't mess with it; it's not worth it.

Josh was extremely helpful when it came to choosing the right hosting plan

I have been using Airo AI to develop my website and the tool is truly astonishing, very close to working with a human developer (in a good way). But I finally needed support when my website would not load and I spent days trying to get someone to fix it. Ten minutes with Dustin on the phone when I was ready to quit was all it took. He just knew what the problem was and fixed it.

THE MOST FRUSTRATING WEB HOSTING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.
Monday I purchased the web address from GoDaddy.
I purchased the web hosting plan from GoDaddy.
I purchased AI credits and GoDaddy Airo and spent all day creating my website.
When I completed the website GoDaddy was not able to connect it to the domain I purchased.
You would think that purchasing all products from GoDaddy and working within GoDaddy would make the process seamless..
It did not.
I spent 4 hours on a text chat with their tech support, getting shuffled between 3 different tech support agents.
Each one of them giving different reasons for the problem.
Each one suggesting different fixes.
None of them worked.
They all said just wait a few hours longer. Wait 24 hours. Wait 48 hours.
48 hours later I call tech support that offered another fix, saying this would definitely fix it.
It didn’t fix it.
Now I cannot even see the hours of work I put into the website. No preview. No evidence that I even created a website.
I spoke to another tech support agent on Friday that escalated the problem to the “backend”.
He said they would resolve the problem.
Still nothing.
Today is Sunday and I still have no resolution.
I’m on hold now as I work on this review.
No Website. No answers.
This is a product flow that I thought surely GoDaddy would be able to handle.
Buy the domain. Buy the hosting. Build the website. Publish the website. No problem.
I have never had such a frustrating and dissatisfying experience than I’m currently having with GoDaddy.
No way could I ever suggest or recommend anyone putting into creating a website with GoDaddy.

Ellis was the best godaddy agent who’s helped me. Wilfred, Ramsen and Eric wasted my time and messed up my airo ai experience.

Bryce who handled my tech issue went above and beyond to fix my problem. Moved me over to Airo, credited my account and then made sure I copied and pasted code to the new website and waited till everything populated and worked. This is truly what customer service should be like. Pretty incredible!!!!

GoDaddy is an absolutely terrible company. I've known them for years, and they consistently provide awful service and keep getting worse without changing a bit. Absolutely do not work with GoDaddy; believe me, I'm speaking from 12 years of experience, you will regret it. Recently, I tried to upgrade my GoDaddy Airo package; they took the payment but gave me nothing. The customer service representative didn't understand anything and made me cancel my paid package, saying they wouldn't refund it. Then their so-called supervisor came and just repeated the same robotic things and kicked me off the support line. It was a terrible GoDaddy experience, just like always.

They supposedly will review it and get back to me with a solution, but it's all a lie. I spent hours trying to explain things to your clueless customer service representative. They cancelled my package, which I paid for and was using on April 22, 2026, and haven't refunded it. You also took my 1026 TL on April 25, 2026, for which you gave me nothing in return. I requested a refund for this money, and your customer service representative went and cancelled my Airo project, which I purchased on April 22, 2026, and haven't refunded that either. To make matters worse, your so-called supervisor kicked me out of the call. What solution? Everything you say is a lie.

On April 22, 2026, you unnecessarily deleted the project I had spent hours and days working on, and told me I wouldn't get my money back. On April 25, 2026, you took my payment but gave me nothing. I demand a full refund of all the money I've paid for Airo. Dismiss your incompetent customer service representatives and the rude person they called their supervisor. What does it mean to dismiss a client without even meeting them? I am an agency and I serve hundreds of clients. My only crime is working with GoDaddy and being a victim. Refund all my money, compensate for my effort and time. You have given me a terrible customer experience.

Go Daddy is a scam! I have had a commerce site with them for a month and they have not been able to resolve a simple domain issue. Furthermore because the domain is pointed to a godaddy.com site instead of my domain, I cannot process customer payments! I email and text them at least 10 times a day an might get 1 response per day telling me to be patient. My patience has run out. Their Airo AI is a total fraud. It repeatedly saves over work I've already completed with data that has nothing to do with my site. They took down their 24/7 Support Chat. That right there is enough to scream SCAM! No one from their "professional support" (India) teams cares in any way shape or form that your site or any one else's is having problems! 3 WEEKS OF TRYING TO GET ANSWERS AND GETTING NO UPDATES, RESPONSES OR FIXES!

DO NOT USE GO DADDY! THEY ARE ONLY THERE TO TAKE YOU MONEY!

The representative that I spoke with was very helpful in answering my questions concerning the business domains. The representative also helped walk me through two different project examples that allowed me to have a website and logo formed for me very quickly with a software called Airo.
