There is so much fraud on GoFundMe me sight people using Austin Metcalfs name to grift money and the gofund me platform is allowing it, there is no way I would feel safe using this sight to fundraiser.

While happy to raise funds for my local charity, the app itself slowed my phone down considerably. On checking permissions this app is allowed to do anything and too close to spy ware for my liking. I ended up having to uninstall it

What made this experience great is that it's so easy to create the GoFundMe that works for me. This is the second time I've used them for my cause,(rescuing street cats, trap, nueter and release)
I'm very satisfied with the verbiage and the service!

The agent that assisted me, Luis, was friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. He was able to answer my question quickly. However, I was NOT impressed with the Chat Bot! Took FOREVER to get to an agent.

The guy named Jose was very kind to me. He tried to help me. I appreciate it.

So far it is all good. Except trying to change the phone number. The young lady who created the GoFundMe put her phone number instead of my phone number, so it's been a bit difficult trying to get updates.

I made a mistake with setting up a fundraiser, but they helped me get it right!

It works, easy to use, and if you have difficulties the customer service is super helpful and responsive.

Zero Stars for this organization I see if you're black you get no donations but if you're white and racist you get all donations it's a crying shame

Mid fundraiser GoFundMe decided to disable everyone’s ability to post individual updates to social media and only allow a general project link to be shared. This forces all the work on the organizer to hunt for re post individual pics which may be way back in a camera roll file into a social media post. This means you are doing this MANY TIMES in a row once to make the gofund me update and then for every social media post made. It also forces donors to have to scroll through each platform to find updates they missed instead of just checking in quickly on what’s currently happening. GoFundMe is Absolutely NOT A customer centric platform now. Our Fundraising outreach was successful UP UNTIL INDIVIDUAL UPDATES WERE DISCONTINUED. GoFund me has lost my trust and removed any value from their platform since they have made crowdsourcing so difficult for users. In the future I will explore other companies models just to avoid this new publishing nightmare. On top of that customer service was terrible at giving me an answer as to why updates were not possible sending me on time wasting efforts troubleshooting tech that never needed it on my end. Weeks of frustration and gaslighting by support staff until I insisted it get escalated. Only then did I get an honest answer from someone.

I really like this company, how it’s easy to donate whenever you are able to. If there’s a technical issue, they solve it quickly and ask for feedback. It’s been years since I started using this app and I still do and enjoy doing so

I had a technical error with accounts and my representative found it right away and with my permission they fixed the issue. The entire process was solved in minutes

GoFundMe would not allow me to donate the amount I wanted unless I gave them a 16.5 percent tip. That is rediculous.

This platform literally helped save a man’s life.

Through this platform, we were able to raise enough money in just two days to help him move into safe, secure housing and provide essential necessities, including clothing, food, and personal care items.

The platform was incredibly easy to use, and we received the funds quickly, allowing us to address an urgent situation without delay. Thanks to the generosity of donors and the efficiency of the platform, this gentleman was able to leave homelessness behind and begin rebuilding his life.

I would highly recommend this platform to anyone seeking assistance for a charitable cause or someone in need. It made a real difference when it mattered most.

I was confused about the transfer but was reassured that my payouts and transfers would come and how they work. Great customer support.

Customer service

They don't follow they owner user agreements. They say on their terms and conditions that they will only take fundraisers down for a felony. Instead, they are helping a corrupt business that is suing a fundraiser for misdemeanors by taking down the fundraiser. They need to learn from Patreon. Horrible organization and I hope another similar company comes out so we can stop using gofundme.
