We were at Go Outdoors York Vangarde Wednesday 9th September. My wife was looking for some extra shorts she had previously purchased in the Go Outdoors in Gateshead. We thought we were out of luck but Jess came to our rescue and went above and beyond to find my wife the right colour and size. Jess is an absolute star and an asset to Go Outdoors.

My husband initially rang the store and…
My husband initially rang the store and Matt answered the phone. After questioning him on a few different issues. I was more than happy to come to the store from Filey and have our air porch refunded. Once that was done he was happy to help further as we purchased a new tent. He was very professional and a pleasure to deal with.

I needed more shoes for work & wanted good quality Peter Storm & North Ridge. All the team members were really helpful.
I want to give a specific feedback to Morgan who served me at the till. Her customer service was exceptionally good, she was really friendly, & helped me get set up on the members card so easy. Morgan is a credit to Go Outdoors & they should be so proud to have someone with such an amazing attitude & approach to customers.

Popped in with a friend this afternoon
Popped in with a friend this afternoon, I was after a pair of Gortex walking trainers. Lucy was overseeing that area this afternoon and was a massive help, not just going backwards and forwards for me ( several different ones I chose you didn’t have in my size 5 so needed to choose others until one was found in my size and she thought outside the box and brought both colors so I had a choice 😊) but helping several others who were choosing and trying on, we all kept her busy. She took it all in her stride, a lovely smiley young lady who didn’t get flustered, great customer service :-) and I left with what I went in for, happy days.

Super helpful staff member Izzy!
Izzy helped me and my dad for over an hour fitting different rucksacks for a big expedition in Namibia. Ordered two items via click and collect. Heard nothing for over a week, so rang the store to enquire. Was informed one item was there, but they were still waiting for the other, which they assumed had been lost in transit. Nobody had bothered to let me know this.

Bought the tent last week. Still not delivered by Evri who claim to have attempted to deliver which is not the case.

Great customise service in store
We bought online but only after going into the shop at Monks Cross in York. We were really impressed by one of your staff members who took the time to really help my husband choose the right walking boots and showed him a surgeon's knot to get the fit right.
