Returns sorted but rubbish receipts may as well be in latin
An exchange of Berghaus Gilet. Had receipts but need a degree in spycraft to understand their receipts. I always write the product on the said receipt so I can find it if necessary otherwise a problem.
Star deduction due to rubbish receipts but service from Erin and her customer service was excellent. Then spent another £120.

Still not received my package ..
I received an email saying my purchase had been delivered and put in an outbuilding .. I don’t have an outbuilding and there’s no sign of the package
I’ve contacted go outdoors to ask what has happened and have received no reply I phoned and got cut off , I phoned again and was told the store was in able to help , I phoned customer service and a recorded voice told me to go through the process I had already been through with no reply .. .. the camping trip I had organised had to be cancelled

Disappointed by high-pressure donation tactics at checkout
The products and store in York are excellent, and the pricing feels reasonable. However, I found the current checkout practice of requesting charitable donations in front of other customers to be uncomfortable and overly pressuring.
During my recent visit, I was asked publicly at the till to add a donation to my bill. I declined however it made me feel very uneasy, as though my decision not to contribute on the spot reflected poorly on me personally.
Charitable giving is something deeply individual. Many customers already choose to support causes of their choice privately, and others may simply not be in a position to add extra costs during a time of rising living expenses. Making donation requests in a public, transactional setting can place unnecessary pressure on shoppers and create an awkward dynamic for both customers and staff.
Overall, this approach spoilt an otherwise positive shopping experience. I would encourage management to reconsider their charity shaming policy.

Going the extra mile
We were sent on a mission by our son to locate 1000 mile socks in store and Elkie went out of her way to find us some. The socks weren’t on the shop floor and we were just so impressed by her helpful and friendly attitude. Olivia at the tills was also excellent! Cannot recommend the customer service and attention to detail enough - thank you, ladies.
