I had an amazing experience doing a 12,000ft tandem skydive with Giuseppe at Headcorn. It was my first time skydiving and I went all by myself so I didn’t have anybody waiting for me at the finish, bu... See more

My 12,000 Skydive package was booked for Headcorn in Kent. I do believe others who have left bad reviews may have dealt with other offices, but my experience with these guys was amazing. My first dive... See more

Poorly ran company
Poorly organised
Mutiple cancellations
Times changed multiple times
No expectations managed
No queue system where they can tel you when your jump is
Come in for 9am don’t jump until 5
Can see multiple people jumping before you
Just leave you hanging around
Just a poorly ran company
I had the 15000ft skydive yesterday
I had the 15000ft skydive yesterday. It was the most amazing experience. I felt at ease and safe with the skydiving team. I will defiantly be diving again in the future
Terrible. Don’t waste your money.
As the title suggests a terrible experience all around. My wife purchased a voucher as a gift for me. I’ve booked this twice and on both occasions the jump was cancelled at the last minute despite the weather being brilliant. Accommodation, travel costs and loss of work costs incurred on each booking. Wanted to avoid another wasted journey and associated cost. I also have planned surgery on the horizon for me so it’s unlikely I’ll meet the voucher expiration date, so I requested a refund.
Was told by Emma that there will be no refund under any circumstances. Emma, who is meant to be a customer service representative, then hung up on me! So I called Joshua the manager who repeatedly said the same - “no refund, but we may be able to extend it”. No acknowledgment or apology for the previous experience with Emma’s behaviour. Emailed Gordon Blamire the founder and MD to which I received a reply from Joshua, and this time he decided to defend their actions and poor customer service. Clearly the MD of the company doesn’t wish to waste his time replying to his customers and instead prefers to fob me off to Joshua who in fact has the title of Sales Manager - no surprise he doesn’t want to give you your money back. Clearly this poor customer attitude stems right from the top.
At no point have I ever received the impression that anyone at GoSkydive really wanted to resolve this issue or meet in the middle in any way whatsoever. They simply do not care about their customers. They have your money and they’re willing to do whatever it takes to keep it. From reading many of the reviews it is obvious that I’m not the only one who feels this way.
It is my hope that any future customers do their research and read all the deserved terrible reviews this company has received. Every single one of them have resonated with me and my experience. GoSkyDive clearly do not care, and in an age where customer service is paramount, I’ll be interested to see how long this business model survives, especially a business that is required to instil, care, trust and confidence in the very people who are about to jump out of an aeroplane with them.
Don’t waste your money. They don’t deserve it and you’ll be cheated and scammed.
Never thought jumping 10,000ft could…
Never thought jumping 10,000ft could feel so safe ❤️
I bought a 10,000ft Sky Dive for my husband for Christmas. The purchase process was incredibly easy, and the team that helped with the booking were so incredibly helpful. Little did I know that my husband would purchase an experience for me too...
On the day, we genuinely could not have asked for a better experience. The team are some of the friendliest, kindest, funny, inspiring people I've met - and it helps they're also INCREDIBLY cool.
I genuinely couldn't believe how safe I was made to feel, and every step of the experience felt safe, secure and in control.
The biggest shout out to Gary C who accompanied me as my tandem instructor and absolutely made the experience, with calm kindness and a brilliant sense of humour, and cameraman Jamie captured footage beyond what I could've dreamt of.
If you've ever considered going for it - book with Go Skydive - feel the fear and do it anyway, you'll be in GREAT hands.
Completed my first 10000 ft skydive…
Completed my first 10000 ft skydive yesterday for Alzheimer’s Society at Old Sarum.
Honestly struggling to did the right words to describe - it was mind blowing and the adrenaline rush was unreal. I can see how you might get addicted.
It was well organised, everyone was friendly and the whole thing went to plan. I paid extra for the media bundle which came through before I even got home. Seemed a lot of money at the time but absolutely worth it.
A very special THANK YOU to the legend that is Mias. I felt safe, he put me at ease and his enthusiasm was spot on. I’m so sorry I can’t remember the guy’s name with the freefall cam but he was amazing too.
Absolutely would recommend this to anyone and everyone
Salisbury branch
I completed my 15k tandem at Salisbury branch and I must say, this is a very busy place. Lots of people doing skydive that day and every member of the team has allocated task, they work as a team and they are amazing. Place runs like a clock and everyone is kind and caring.
My instructor was Matt, despite I was his 9th jump of the day, he was still excited to talk to me and even smiling on the camera giving me great pictures and videos. It was my first time so I was obviously little worried, but he guided me and reassured me step by step, so eventually I trusted him with my life.
I'm still buzzing from my experience, I will definitely to it again in the same place and I will always recommend goskydive, they are all amazing!!!
DO IT!
Completed a 10,000ft jump last week - THE best experience of my life, all of the instructors were amazing especially Alex who I took my jump with & Harry who video'd, if youre even considering doing this.. GO FOR IT!! Life changing
Absolutely great!!
I completed a tandem jump this morning with Janos Leszko at Headcorn Aerodrome and it was a truly amazing experience!.
All of the team were helpful, welcoming and fun. All made me feel very welcome and accommodated for my hearing issues, making me feel very at ease.
Shout out to Janos, (who due to weather conditions and rushing to get as many people up before the winds came) wasn't able to introduce himself to me until just before entering the plane but was very welcoming and kind, explaining everything clearly and loudly for me to understand.
I also chose the full video package and was very happy with how this was handled. Again everything was explained clearly and they did their best to get lots of footage for me.
I would not hesitate to come back again!
Amazing experience with one caveat...
While the skydive experience was excellent, it's hard to score the company properly given I am still waiting to receive the media package I paid £119 for. GoSkyDive's website suggests this will be received within 2 hours of your jump, however I am yet to receive mine 9 days after I jumped. I've emailed them 4 times now and simply get a stock response of "we appreciate you raising this, it is with our media team". At present I have wasted over £100 and am getting increasingly frustrated.
Update: after 13 days of waiting I've now received my media and I'll give GoSkyDive this - it was worth the wait. It's such a shame this wasn't provided without me having to spend time and energy chasing, as otherwise the whole experience was excellent. Moving my score up to 4* but would caution that if you do go for the media package, be prepared to chase for it.
What are you waiting for!
So I've left leaving my review for a few week to try and really reflect and put into words my skydiving experience with Goskydive at Headcorn!
Here goes....
Once my date was booked it was shear excitement and the daily annoying count down was felt by friends and family!
My first date unfortunately was cancelled the day prior, due to low cloud and consequently I sulked for a week. However let's face it, you're jumping out of a plane and these guys have your safety in their hands, on top of which this is England, so cut them some slack if they are moving your date!! I was able to book for 6 days later, quickly and easily by choosing my date via the link.
So my second date arrives, all looking good the day before (The updates you receive from Goskydive are impeccable)
Emails and texts with everything you need to know.
The morning is finally here!! Sunday 27th April! I look outside and heavy thick fog is clouding my mood, as well as everything else. Oh great, why does it have to be today 🙄 😒 stupid weather.
However no further updates have been issued so now to drive to headcorn with my fingers firmly crossed!
I arrived, plenty of parking, signs to follow and checked-in at the office, quick and simple using your code which you receive.
Then comes the most informative yet truly entertaining safety briefing I've ever heard. A true comedian but gets the points across! How anyone could leave that feeling scared is beyond me, more relaxed and reassured!
So now I start thinking this is really going to happen, I just can't wipe the huge silly grin off my face!!
Before I knew it, the sun appeared and started burning the fog away. Wahooo!
My name is being called by James (who is amazing, the best ever!) and I'm getting kitted up ready to go, once my instructor was happy and we had gone through the positions spoken about in the briefing i was off for a quick interview chat with Lee for the media.
We all head to the plane.
The plane journey goes super quickly so make sure you absorb all the amazing views on your climb to altitude.
Goggles on!!!
When it's your turn you'll be shuffled by your instructor to the exit, before you know it you feel the air resistance against your face, and you feel like you're flying!! Not once did i have a falling feeling, just every magical second of the freefall flying!!
I could describe this with a million words but honestly it still wouldn't be enough to describe this amazingly euphoric experience.
Time literally stands still!
Your instructor pulls the parachute and the world is plunged into silence beneath your feet.. so peaceful and the views, just wow!!!
You're floating and breathing in a new appreciation for life!
Soaring around taking in the views then stilling again, floating and back to silent, this is unbelievable!
If you are lucky like me, the experience gets to switch off your mind from everything in your busy life and it's one of the very few times you're just living for that epic moment! That's special in itself! You feel on top of the world!
Time to land came to quickly for me, a gentle slide along the grass and you're safely back on the ground with the biggest feeling of accomplishment and a smile that matches!
The people around me that day truly made a dream come true, better than I ever anticipated. James and Lee especially but also everyone at Headcorn and Goskydive you're all exceptional people.. and you don't even know it!
If you want to relive your experience, please go for the media package. A memory forever that you're able to share with family and friends. Be patient with the team on getting it back to you, it's sooo worth the wait, but like myself you'll be checking your emails constantly in anticipation.
I had an issue with not receiving all of my media at the same time but the customer services team went above and beyond to rectify this, which again shows what a great company they are!
1000% recommend Goskydive and especially everyone at Headcorn and customer services.
I don't know how anyone could say otherwise. The best experience ever, and one I will be shouting about for a long time yet!
You'll feel informed throughout via emails and messages and super safe, comfortable and relaxed on the day.
Go for it!!!
Poor customer service
I received a £50 gift voucher for GoSkydive. To redeem it you need to call and make a booking.
I called 9 times over the span of a weekend and not a single one of my calls were picked up. The lines are clearly not maned but this also means that gift vouchers can’t be redeemable.
I’m very disappointed as this was supposed to be an exciting experience.
Cameras
Had an amazing time, thoroughly loved the jump!! My instructor Simon was great!! 🙌 want to do it again!
Only down fall, I paid for a camera had to wait over 5 days to get it, only to be sent someone else’s video! I have tried to talk to people and not getting a response! I am getting very frustrated as it is a lot of money and the rest of my group have got their media back!! VERY disappointed
Fantastic experience
Fantastic experience, 10,000ft with Mias as instructor. Very professional setup, great instructor, all round 5* experience. Only frustration was cafe is painfully slow! Small problem though :) Jump was GREAT.
Paid for a video of the jump that I have never received
Similar to what I have now seen that others have reported on this site, I have paid a huge amount of money for a video that I have never received. The original video sent was corrupted and I have had no luck in getting a response from GoSkydive about this. I have contacted via their chat function and been directed to an email address that I have received no response on. It has now been 12 days since the jump and there is no indication that I will be receiving the video I have paid for. I would not recommend anyone use this company.
Fantastic..
I did athe 15000ft jump and 60sec freefall with my son, what a fantastic alround experience, the staff we brilliant, the training was good..the jump thanks to HENK was unforgettable, I would definitely recommend the whole experience, can't wait to jump again..jk.
Aftercare is poor
The jump itself was fantastic. The contact before the day was fantastic. The team on the day was fantastic!! Then it changed with the aftercare. Josh Wilson the manager at Salisbury.
I paid £209 for video and photos. One of the videos was corrupted, after phone calls & emails to Josh, I had standard replies and no urgency to resolve. I’d recommend Gosky but if there’s a problem, they have your money and don’t care.
WASTED JOURNEY SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
Arrived at booked time for a group to jump for charity to be asked didn’t you get the bad weather message? There were around 30 of us and no we did NOT receive the bad weather message!
It’s not good enough to be honest. As soon as a manager rang to ask what was going on, suddenly everyone got a message telling them it was cancelled!!
So much wasted time, fuel, money and no offer of any sort of compensation. They have our money and that’s it apparently.
I would never recommend this company for their poor customer service and administration. They may be great with skydiving but their management is awful.
Go sky Dive double payment for one jump.
I have made repeated attempts to get a partial refund, based on Go Sky dive taking a double payment for one jump. Two emails completely ignored, multiple messages sent, some response, but no refund. The amount owed by them was £420, we have reported this company to consumer advice. We have been advised by the bank that they will refund the money, they suggest that this is a potential, and alleged fraud. Avoid this company at all costs, there are other companies available, who provide similar experiences.
Scam company
Scam company. I booked skydive with them. They took my money. When I turned up the place was closed and now they refuse to answer my emails. Do not book with them.
15,000ft Sky Dive what an amazing…
15,000ft Sky Dive what an amazing experience! Staff were so amazing & friendly. Huge thank you to George who made me feel so comfortable & made my experience the best possible! Me & my partner both got the totally epic photo & video package and it did not disappoint! Videos and photos are absolutely worth every Penny! We can’t wait to come back & bring friends to enjoy this experience! It was THE BEST! You guys are brilliant, the negative reviews due to the weather (that is totally out of your hands) is unfair, the experience that you provide is 5 star. We had delays due to weather today, we were kept updated all day, and the area is lovely to sit and chill at while you wait anyway!
