We held my husbands memorial service here and it was really special. The whole setting, from the natural wooden interior, the huge bifold glass doors that you used to exit and the tranquil green fields and trees that surround you. It was such a peaceful, calming place to hold your loved ones service. The staff were extremely helpful and kind, we were allowed time after the service to thank family and friends. We were never rushed and there wasn’t another funeral waiting to come in after us, we couldn’t have asked for more.

My sisters and I chose Heatherley Park for my mums funeral because I had attended a funeral of a dear friend of mine the year before and was totally blown away by how tranquil and calm the whole process was. Jen and her team, especially the wonderful Ness, didn’t disappoint. My mother just wanted a quiet service with no fuss. Just a couple of poems and music that she had chosen herself. Jen read the poems beautifully and Ness was a great support. We also had the wake at Heatherley which was lovely as it meant nobody had to travel to a different venue in an unfamiliar area. It gave us all a chance to sit and reminisce, especially with mums old school friend who we didn’t know but had kept in touch with Mum since they met at 12.
In short, I would recommend Heatherley Park for the calm, caring and understanding way they dealt with me, my family and especially my Mum. I’m sure mum would’ve approved of the special and dignified send off that Heatherley Park provided and I will be forever grateful to the team there for providing that.

I chosen Rainford for my late mums final resting place , the park itself is beautiful and unique. Christine looked after us from start to finish and was so professional , caring and empathetic and had a true passion for her job her natural way was lovely and made the whole experience seem less daunting. Luke from the grounds team was also brilliant so respectful and caring and nothing was too much trouble
Thank you both for all you did

We have used Greenacres several times and cannot express our thanks and gratitude enough to them for how they have handled all our bereavements. The surroundings are beautiful and tranquil and the service we have received for all our requirements have been highly professional and far exceeded our expectations. Visiting our parents grave is a lovely experience - the dogs comes for a walk in the woods and we pay our respects regularly in such peaceful surroundings - not the normal line of gravestones that can be a somber experience, far from it. Thank you to all there for always making us feel so welcome.

This was my first visit to Green Acres in Epping for a funeral, which was held for my dear friend Linda. The setting is as beautiful and as peaceful as you can imagine and the care and compassion from the staff faultless.
Thank you to everyone who helped to make such an important occasion so very special.

We held my mothers funeral at Heatherley Park. The staff were every sympathetic and helpful in arranging the service. The building and surrounding gardens are beautiful . After several family funerals at Crematoriums this was a much nicer experience and less traumatic on the day of the service. Totally flat site and no steps in the building make it ideal for elderly attendees.

We held my son’s service here at Rainford Park.
The setting is gorgeous and the service there was perfect.
At the front where the casket is placed at the end the glass doors were opened and it was like my son was flying to heaven, perfect.
It is run with compassion for the bereaved.
I would recommend here to all.

We have been to our very dear friend's funeral service today. When arrived,we were greeted by a lovely lady called Emma who was very attentive, sympathetic & directed us where to go.
As we were so upset, she was extremely helpful & kind which really is comforting. Wish everyone could be like her.

Losing and saying goodbye to a loved one is the hardest thing we ever have to do. I can honestly say that Leigh, Tracey and the team at GreenAcres Epping Park have been outstanding throughout they are so kind, compassionate and caring and helped me ensure that my Sister's Celebration of Life service was beautiful and fitting for someone so special to family and friends.
The setting of the Park at the edge of Epping Forest is one of the most beautiful and tranquil places you can visit. To date Leigh has still been supporting me with selecting the perfect spot to lay my Sister to rest in final peace. You are amazing people and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the pain a bit easier to bear.

On behalf of the entire family, we want to thank Jane and the team at GreenAcres Chiltern for their support and assistance. It’s a comfort to know he is in such good hands. A heartfelt thank you!

the life of Ken Kenwright.
The setting is really lovely, bright, open and the sound of birdsong also enhances it.

Overall, a very positive experience planting a living memorial tree and the internment of Dad’s ashes. It is certainly not cheap but it is leasing a plot of land and helping to contribute to the establishment of a large woodland, with all the accompanying biodiversity that it brings. Of course, providing a beautiful environment in which to have a focal point to remember Dad is a wonderful thing to have. Greenacres is not a macabre place because of the internments and burials there, but to the contrary rather a calming, joyful place.
The staff are very helpful and helped to explain how it all works with great clarity but no sales pressure. Liz was respectful, kind and professional from the outset during my initial visit to Greenacres and I left feeling very positive. My second visit brought us into contact with Barbara who is doing a superb job - very affable indeed and also professional at all times. Even during the actual tree planting and ashes internment, we were also helped by a very pleasant, likeable young man named Liam who had the perfect demeanour considering the circumstances.
I am looking forward to many visits to Greenacres in the future.
UPDATE JULY 2026. I am very disappointed to realise now that Greenacres is, essentially, one big money-making machine. I wanted to replace the name post at the bottom of the memorial tree as the one placed there initially is in a poor condition. I was intending to order from an external company. However, Greenacres, Rainford, informed me that they charge a £145 fee just to check the size etc, even though I am intelligent enough to follow the size/material guidelines myself upon ordering. What a RIP-OFF!
BE WARNED! Purchasing a plot to inter ashes and plant a tree is not the final expense. Greenacres will not lose any opportunity to play upon your grief and make even more money out of you. Quite frankly, I am disgusted with this greedy company policy.

I cannot thank the team at GreenAcres Heatherley Park enough for making my mums funeral so easy and so special. It really is a beautiful, peaceful place to just have a funeral service, or to lay someone to rest in their woodland setting. I would not hesitate to recommend Heatherley Park to anyone.

The Mother's Day memorial mass at Greenacres Kemnal Park, Chislehurst on Sunday 30th March 2025, was absolutely beautiful.
Although a sad and emotional time for us all, the mass was so uplifting and special, from start to finish. We were all given love hearts to write a message on, and hang on the bridge within the grounds. We were able to light a candle each, and were given a sheet of paper, which contained seeds to plant at home, which was all so special. Refreshments were provided afterwards, which included teas, coffees, bottled water, cakes and strawberries and blueberries and more..all free. The staff were all absolutely amazing, hard working and very professional.
A big special thank you to Angie for her continued support and hard work.
A very special, peaceful and lovely place.
A beautiful service..well done to all the staff.
Many thanks Allison
