Awful service. Wouldn't use them again if they were the last conveyancing company on earth. Probably moot now since Dudedil are showing them as 'In Liquidation'

I wouldn't even give 1 star
I wouldn't even give 1 star. So many issues with this practice - I would highly advise anyone considering using them to NOT! Still 18 months after purchasing my home I am chasing for them to register me as the owner!!! Even the management company of my estate are chasing them.
SHOCKING OPERATORS
Zahrah Aullybocos was very good
Zahrah Aullybocos was very good. It was a shared ownership property (my first) and she was very helpful and efficient.
Absolutely shocking
Absolutely shocking. 6 months later, we are still slogging through the process due to utter incompetence on their part. DO NOT USE.

I am always suspicious when a rating jumps from 1 or 2 stars to 4 or 5 based on excellent reviews by people writing a review for the first time, so be warned. This company has never been instructed by me, but I know of two sales which have fallen through because of the difficulties that the buyers have had trying to contact Griffiths Ings and get information sent to the vendors solicitors. After, many months of getting nowhere, the vendors just pulled out.

Great service by Julia Hurren and Gemma…
Great service by Julia Hurren and Gemma Berrow as always.
I have dealt with Julia on numerous occasion over the last few years and they have always delivered what Ive asked from them with good ongoing communication throughout each process.
Thanks

Highly recommend and Very impressed .
I have been exceptionally impressed with the conveyancing and other legal work Julia Hurren and her assistant Gemma Berriws have recently completed for me. My case, I think most lawyers would have agreed was a complicated one, but Julia took it on and has been nothing but supportive, informative, personable as well as highly professional. I have bought and sold many properties in the past and I must say this has been my best experience by far.
Emails and calls responded to promptly and efficiently. Mortgage companies and buyers chased when needed to be and completing each process on dates requested.
I would not hesitate to highly recommend Griffiths zings and Julia in particular, and of course not forgetting all the back ground work Gemma did behind the scenes.
Much appreciated and impressed
Kind regards caroline
Thankyou Team 6
I have just completed the purchase of a property and have had nothing but great help and support from the Griffiths Ings Team 6.
They have kept me informed, answered and followed up queries in a timely and effective manner. Their communication is clear, friendly and straightforward.
I would certainly recommend them to others. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble.
They instill confidence.
Well done Team 6

I have sold 3 properties in the last few years & this was purely because I had the best lawyer in the world - she gave her all & more - thank you so much 1,000,000,000% effort Zahrah Aullybocus
Exceptionally Poor Communication
I was recommended Griffiths Ings and specifically Sarah Beynon-Williams through the sales department at the new build site I was purchasing.
When I spoke to Sarah on the phone she was always really helpful, transparent and knowledgeable, the problem was it was almost impossible to get in touch with her. In the lead up to completion days would go by where Emails, texts and calls would just go unanswered. Only on the last 2 days before completion did I get any direct contact.
It's stressful enough going through a sales purchase, even worse so tight to Christmas, add in that I'm a single first time buyer, what I didn't want was silence from my solicitor.
I should add in that Nationwide made a pretty fundamental error on my mortgage application by noting the wrong address on the valuation report. Nationwide blamed my broker, my broker blamed the information from my solicitor. This fuelled my anxiety, all I wanted was some clarification from Sarah and I just didn't get it, in my opinion.
I firmly believe if I didn't make such a strong complaint to Nationwide that my completion would had been delayed until post Christmas. Once Nationwide acted Sarah did try her hardest to act quickly to get me to complete in the last 2 days. Thank you.
I was disappointed when we arranged a meeting to discuss the lease that Sarah was unable to attend. I just wanted some clarification on some bits and for her to explain some of the legal jargon to me. Less than two hours prior she emailed to say she wasn't going to be able to make it, I had taken a days annual leave for these and there was no apology. She advised me her assistant, Rachel Beynon, would be able to advise me. Rachel was kind, but simple advised me that "this is all generic", and simply read out the fees. The questions I left with her never got back to Sarah.
There were also occasions where I would send personal documents via email instead of through the mail, these would get misplaced. I know this because Sarah had asked for them again a few months later.
My suspicion is that Sarah has taken on too much work, which left me feeling that I didn't receive a acceptable level of service. To clarify, the work did get done on time, but the difficulty in communication really made it unnecessary stressful and such an anxious time for me. It wasn't a pleasent experience. For this reason I would hesitate to recommend Griffiths Ings.
Bad co. Dodge this bullet
Awful company. It took 4 mth s to buy a house through these guys. That was not in a chain and was empty. And the sellers solicitor was same company in Cardiff! Catalogue of errors and incompetence. I got other people's paperwork, 3 days after things signed for by their company they still not processed and don't know themselves if they've got it. Awful, arrogant rarely return calls. Dodge this bullet do not use.l
PLEASE DO NOT USE!!!!!
Main team dealing with purchase of a new build flat was Sarah Beynon-Williams (main Solicitor) and Rachel Beynon (Assistant).
Recommended to us via sales office for developer.
To start with upon instruction, documents for us to read and sign were sent through rather quickly letting us know how the process works. From then on, we didn’t really hear anything for a while.
However, when it got to the serious stages e.g. dealing with the lease etc communication was horrendous. Spent all my time chasing Sarah either at the office, on emails and on mobile. All forms of communication would go ignored for long periods of time, it was clear we were being ignored and avoided.
The process was so slow, when we eventually spoke with Sarah there was always an excuse and always someone else to blame, she avoided any accountability.
Sarah made the whole process more stressful than what it needed to be. Day before the completion date I was still having to chase Sarah which again went unanswered. Not ideal. We finally managed to speak with Rachel who was friendly and helpful.
We also had errors with our completion statement when this was highlighted to them they still tried to make out it was correct rather than taking accountability and getting it sorted. In the end this was rectified by a member in their accounts team who worked quickly.
I’ve purchased a new build property before and had nowhere near half the stress that Sarah has caused.
Overall, service levels and customer service are shocking, I really wouldn’t recommend their services at all and definitely won't be using them in the future.
We eventually completed, we were more relived not having to chase Sarah everyday than getting our keys! We’ve also advised the sales office not to recommend to purchasers on any future projects.
Buyer/seller beware if you’re ever…
Buyer/seller beware if you’re ever involved with this outfit in a chain! Chain collapsed literally hours before we all completed. All utilities had been changed, insurances, phones, postal addresses, removal teams on route, etc, and then we received a phone call from our Solicitors stating these professionals hadn’t checked to see if their client had the means to fund buying a property! All negotiations on the properties in the chain had been agreed three to four months prior to the set date?
Guess it was just one of those minor oversights that one forgets to check the credentials of their client.
Currently awaiting for my purchase to…
Currently awaiting for my purchase to go through and have been advised to use these solicitors. Up until now I am not impressed they do not keep me updated and after my estate agent sending the confirmation of the purchase to them on 27/11/2018 I am now chasing as I have heard nothing.
We were previously purchasing another property which was confirmed on 08/08/2018 this fell through on 25/11/2018 during this time no phone calls on any updates only one lot of paperwork received. We were advised that our paperwork had been sitting on someone's desk for a while without being looked at? I will update and if proved wrong advise on this site on how this purchase went!
highly recommended
Having been through a horrendous conveyancing experience with another firm Julia Hurren was recommended to me. Together with her assistant Gemma they delivered a quick and effective successful transaction. They communicated regularly and I was kept informed of developments. It was a complete contradiction to my precious experience and I can’t recommend this team highly enough.
I have dealt with Julia Hurran from…
I have dealt with Julia Hurran from Griffiths Ings in a professional capacity when I was an estate agent, but also personally during a house purchase, and she is fantastic! She is by far the best solicitor I have dealt with (and I dealt with a lot as an estate agent!). Her communication is excellent and she kept me informed every step of the way. She is also very friendly and approachable, and most importantly she gets the job done as quickly and efficiently as possible. I recommended Julia to my old clients who were looking for a solicitor, I recommend her to my friends and family and I will continue to recommend her. If I ever buy another property in the future she will be my first port of call! A breath of fresh air in the legal world! Keep up the good work!
Fantastic service
Charlie and Tracey were absolutely superb. The only solicitors that I have dealt with that actually really push things along. Feedback provided extremely quickly and clearly. Truly a pleasure to deal with and concluded my house purchase promptly and professionally.
Excellent service
Excellent services received from Sam and her team when purchasing our new home. Would use again and have recommended to friends and family.
