App won't accept payments

Biggest issue is that the app suddenly won't accept any card payment. This has happened twice. The first time I just had to delete and re-input my card details. Yesterday at the Northampton site the payment process kept failing with whatever card I used. Tried online but that didn't work. Just tried again today and the App is still broken.

nexus group parking fine my appeal ignored by court

the camera got my wife's car leaving my son to work at 21.32, the camera failed to pick the car leaving, next day it failed to pick car up entering to leave my son back to work, but picked car up leaving at 11.18 accused my wife of staying for 13 .47 minutes and fined her i appealed sent there own camera shots and they still fined her, asked to send date for court case as i was not letting this go,, no reply my wife has now a ccj , the signs are 7 feet of the ground the illumination light is 15 foot above the signs and can not be read when dark, i now have to pay £280 but i have got local councillor coming out with profession photographer to get more evidence that the signs can not be read when dark, and that the nexus group supplied me with there own evidence there cameras do not work properly its clear to see as its there document, i have started a local campaign and we have made it clear to the council action needs to be taken for the signs are impossible to read when it is dark and that the country court ignored my evidence which is on the original document sent out in the form of a parking fine by nexus group.... i wanted my day in court ,,i waited for them to reply then my wife got slapped with a ccj,, there is no justice with this kind of kangaroo court system it should be made illegal in the uk, i had very outstanding unquestionable evidence and the court blatantly ignored it. they ignored photographic evidence on two accounts and proceeded with an unjustified ccj,,, this is uk 2025 were the people have no voice and even with full evidence the camera didn't work and the signs can not be read in the dark, they still won there case,,,,,,

If it was possible to give no stars I…

If it was possible to give no stars I would.
This company does the parking system for my work site, and despite having a permit and sending them the information of the permit 5 times I have now received another parking charge for parking on site.
Also what a surprise, the website for their 'complaints' is faulty and only shows an error

Incredibly poor

Very poor service, as I could not speak to anyone about a fine . I parked in the Westside Retail Park LS20 in May, I, along with my daughter shopped continually at the shops on site. We were there a long time as we were shopping to set up a house with soft furnishings and equipment. We were over the parking time, which we did not realise as we were so busy and also that the car park was only for those shops.
The system to appeal is so flawed as there is little time before the fine just increases. The receipts, to prove I was shopping there for all that time are linked to my daughter not me. In the end I have had to pay a £170 fine as there is no way I can speak to anyone or change the payment. An appeal would be rejected as I don't have the evidence. I have been away and the time has moved on and the fine has gone from £60 to £170. Obviously, the whole system is set up so that people find it difficult to appeal and the fine increases rapidly. I would recommend that you do not use or go near these car parks. Its a very poor company that has to extract money off people in this way.

Absolutely disgraceful company who scam…

Absolutely disgraceful company who scam innocent people. I paid for my car parking at ParkBee, Liverpool Central Village, and have proof, yet I received a fine of £60 from Group Nexus- I’ve appealed with proof of payment, but the appeal a has been declined, and they are now asking me to pay £20 for an admin fee 😤 which I will not be paying as I paid for my ticket on the day!! They are targeting vulnerable and innocent people and they are hiding away, as it is impossible to speak to a human being on the phone. They should be ashamed of themselves, I will never be parking at ParkBee or a Group Nexus car park again

Pease Pottage Services car parking run…

Pease Pottage Services car parking run by Group Nexus. My husband is a taxi driver, and at approximately 0130 had a puncture. As he was close to the services in Pease Pottage, he pulled in, off the main road, firstly for safety, and because it is well lit and he would be able to see more.
He had difficulty at first, and spent some time trying to locate the damage. Knowing there was a time limit, he went into the sales outlets and spoke to the night staff in WH Smith’s, who said they would make a note of his registration so he didn’t need to worry about overstaying. As we live in the village my husband walked home to get the inflation kit out of my vehicle, as his one didn’t do the job. It is a short distance from the services, but the street lighting is non existent in our location, and would not have been suitable to check tyres, and he also considered that he could disturb the neighbours.
He returned to the vehicle in the services, and fortunately the second inflation kit did enough to get him through.
So when we received a Parking charge notice, we were a bit surprised.
We appealed, but after 10 days we received notice that our appeal would not be upheld, and we needed to pay.
So if you break down, and follow their protocols, by reporting it to a member of staff, you still get fined.
Being local, we would not go into the services, as the prices are extortionate, very rarely have we been.
But as it is a service area, it made sense to drive in, as there is a garage.
So don’t break down near Pease Pottage!

Use this to write to your MP about Groupnexus to ensure they lose their NHS contract

Re: Urgent Concerns Over Car Parking System at XXXX Hospital and Exploitation of Vulnerable Patients

I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding the car park system at xxxxl Hospital, which I believe is not only dysfunctional but also exploitative, particularly for vulnerable patients and visitors relying on NHS services.

On DATE, I attended the hospital FILL IN DETAILS. I left around TIME, and the machine indicated that my parking had been paid. Despite this, I later received a fine. Attempts to resolve the issue via their online system were futile, as it does not allow retrospective payments, and their contact options are either inaccessible or charge premium rates.

While I ultimately paid the fine to avoid further distress, this experience reflects a far deeper, systemic issue. The car park is managed by Group Nexus, a private company whose practices have drawn widespread public criticism. Their Trustpilot page INSERT LINK for TRUSTPILOT REVIEWS currently holds a rating of 1.1 out of 5, with 98% of reviewers giving the lowest possible score. These include extensive accounts of NHS staff and patients being fined despite having paid, appeals being ignored, and people being left anxious and penalised while undergoing or recovering from medical care.

To compound matters, Group Nexus imposes a £1.50 surcharge on online payments, and operates a website that is consistently down or inaccessible. The entire system, from on-site machines to customer support, appears designed to frustrate rather than assist, and to punish those already under medical or emotional stress.

This is not an isolated incident. It reflects a national pattern of predatory practices by car park operators on NHS premises, allowed to operate with minimal oversight. The lack of accountability, transparency, and compassion is unacceptable, particularly in environments that are meant to prioritise patient wellbeing.

I urge you to raise this issue with Trading Standards, but also to consider escalating it to NHS England, the Care Quality Commission, and the British Parking Association. These bodies have a role in ensuring that services on NHS property meet appropriate standards of care, accessibility, and fairness. There is an urgent need for review and reform to ensure that patients and their families are treated with dignity and not penalised by broken systems.

Thank you for your time and attention. I would welcome any update on the actions you are able to take.

Yours sincerely,
YOUR NAME

worst company ever.

I paid £59 for membership of Salcey Forest, since joining I have visited 3 times, and each time I received a penalty charge. The cost of these combined charges is more than I paid for membership in the first place. I have appealed each of these with the company but have yet to receive a reply. I have also complained to Forestry England about this. Worst parking company ever. No stars in my opinion.

GroupNexus – A Scam Disguised as a Parking Company

Honestly, GroupNexus is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with. I parked at a retail park where the signs were buried behind bushes, no clear instructions. Tried to pay on their app — it glitched out. A week later? £100 fine.

I appealed with proof, even a timestamped receipt. Got nothing but copy-paste emails from some faceless drone. No names, no accountability — just cold threats that the charge would double. They don’t read a word you send.

It feels like the whole system — the dodgy ANPR, the shady signage, the broken payment options — is designed to make you fail. And the people running this? Either they know it and don't care, or worse — they’re proud of ripping off normal people. Either way, total lowlife behaviour.

They don’t help. They don’t listen. They just chase you with letters until you cave.

Minus stars, dreadful company

This company are doing a very poor job of running my work car park. I have a daily permit and despite paying and receiving confirmation of that payment, this company claimed I did not have a permit or pay. I have "appealed" and sent evidence of that payment so I will decline their kind offer of a half price fine if I pay within 14 days seeing AS I ALREADY PAID.

TERRIBLE FACELESS COMPANY!!

I’ve paid the £60 parking fine (date of contravention is 30/12/2024) received from GroupNexus/CP Plus Ltd online to CP Plus Ltd (within their time limit) by Barclaycard (evidenced on my statement) however it seemed that CP Plus did not update their system regarding my payment and I have since received further demands from GroupNexus and debt recovery (DCBL) for £170!! despite 2 (sent by recorded delivery) letters with my credit card statement enclosed as evidence of payment to CP Plus to Group Nexus and calling DCBL to explain - NO response/reply from GroupNexus to date!! I will be damned if I’m going to pay twice!! I am prepared to fight GroupNexus/CP Plus Ltd all the way!! Awful awful company, that use intimidating tactics as their first course of action and did not bother even to investigate despite being given the evidence of payment!! They should be reported to TRADING STANDARDS!

Yes, it's a scam but there's nothing you can do about it. Boycott the companies they're acting on behalf of instead.

You're better off paying the fine and then boycotting the company they're working on behalf of, which is where the real problem lies. For me, that's Moto motorway service stations - they may take a cut from Group Nexus, but the amount I would have spent at Moto far outweighs the quick few quid they'll make through their parking scams. Their loss.

Scammers

Scammers. £60 fine for going 18 minutes over the alloted time. Extortionate but it's my fault so I'll pay. Pay online? There's an admin fee. Pay by phone? Same admin fee. No other way to pay. I thought an admin fee was for the convenience of a human being to do it for you. How on earth are we getting charged to pay an already extortionate fine?!

I’ve appealed to Group Nexus regarding…

I’ve appealed to Group Nexus regarding a parking charge at Warrington Hospital which their machine said I had nothing to pay. The appeal said they would respond within 28 days and not to pay the £30 charge. I’ve not had a response, but now I’ve received a letter to say I have to pay £60. There is no way of contacting them by phone. This is stress that I can do without whilst waiting on operation results. Horrendous company and clearly no one is dealing with any appeals. I just don’t know whether to just pay the £60 to avoid any follow up.

Awful company.

I parked at Salcy forest and paid to park there for a full day. I recieved a parking fine, I appealed it but I'm waiting for a response and now I have a letter giving me 14 days notice until they send a debt recovery agent. I can't email them or speak to them on the phone.
I'm now stuck waiting to hear from the appeal or risk debt recovery agents knocking on my door.

Literally the worst kind of people!

What’s the point having a number that just cuts you off & no option to speak to an advisor. Robbing b***ards!

Made an appeal, heard nothing back & then got a fine increase to £120 which I’m not paying!
