The worst set of knives I have ever…

The worst set of knives I have ever bought. Every knife had factory bad production scratches on them. The handles are bad fitting and two different colours. A very bad imitation of a premium knife set. I would seriously avoid this as is not value for money but just a waste. The photos speak for themselves

Terrible quality on their top 18/10 cutlery

Terrible quality on their top 18/10 ss cutlery, dessert spoons had dangerously ragged, serrated edges, knives had uneven tops ranging from right angles to curves, just absolutely shocking quality control, thankfully I caught it just before tearing my mouth to shreds. STAY AWAY.

Set of knives

I bought a set of knives about two years ago at the Good Food Show at the NEC in Birmingham. I was impressed by how they retained the sharpness.

One of the handles cracked and a piece of the handle broke off. I sent an email to Grunwerg and their customer service replaced it immediately.

I was very impressed.

Above and beyond!

We have a much loved, many years old Bellux teapot, in daily service, as good as the day we bought it, apart from the interior strainer beginning to disintegrate. This wonderful company sorted out a replacement for us.

Rusting after the first few uses

Like others on here, I purchased whole new set of Grunwerg cutlery.

They were purchased in November 2024.

They are all showing rust marks, but the worst by far, are the knives.

So disappointed.

I do NOT recommend this brand.

If you work, don’t order from them

If you work, pointless in buying from them because they use DPD local and make you prove your age to take delivery of orders. Impossible if you work. Wont deliver to safe place either.

Using DPD chat, there’s no options and I can’t return to sender. So stuck in limbo for weeks.

Return my money Grunberg or use Evri or Royal Mail!

Cheap Chinese cutlery

Cheap Chinese cutlery. Feels tinny and doesn't sit well in the hand. I should have read Trustpilot before buying what looks like a "British" brand. Avoid.

5 stainless steel Serving Utensils - Not finished properly(18/10…

I ordered 5 stainless steel (18/10 grade) utensils for the kitchen. The utensils were from the Delux range and had a good weight and had a good mirror finish. Slotted Turner, Soup Ladle, Serving Spoon, Skimmer, Straining Spoon.
HOWEVER, the edges ON ALL of them had not been finished/polished properly and were in fact still so sharp I would be at risk of being cut when washing them up/handling them.
I contacted customer service who advised I would be responsible for the cost of return!

NOT a good quality outcome. Unfortunately I would not order from them again.

Do not buy cutlery from Grunwerg

Do not buy cutlery from Grunwerg. The product is shockingly bad, it scratches really badly, rusts and is not fit for purpose after a few uses. Customer service don't care and won't admit the product is inferior. Cutlery from Ikea will last longer!

Faulty Knives that wont sharpen

Sadly I purchased a block of 5 gobal knives , which from the get go were never sharp , but I kept with them and tried to sharpen them as best I could . Eventually I gave up and sent them back to Grundwerg , who initially , I thought were going to help and asked me to send them back , they said they sharpened them and returned the knives to myself.
The knives were still NOT sharp enough to use , even after Grunwerg professionally sharpened them .
I RESENT them back to them stating that they still were not sharp and that perhaps a faulty batch .
I have just had them returned , with a message implying that it was my fault in the way I have sharpened them is the reason they are blunt ( please bare in ming I have cooked for 40 years and sharpened various makes of knives ( not from Grunwerg) which still remain my "favourite knives " )
I find this reason hard to swallow .. the expensive Golbal knives from Grunwerg will sadly go in the bin and withot a further fight there is little I can do now .. and life is too short !!...
But I would hate other customers to be victim to this waste of money .

No customer service.

I recently emailed this company about a faulty product but did not even get the courtesy of a reply.
Will be avoiding products from this company in the future.
