They don't do repairs even though they assure they do

I received a gift of GUCCI sunglasses years ago. I was assured that they have excellent customer service and they would make repairs if necessary. I contacted them to ask for a repair. They asked for numerous pictures which I supplied. They then notified me that they could not repair my sunglasses (They needed a tiny bolt and nut) they then said that their global warranty does not apply, sorry. BUYER BEWARE...

Dear Gucci Executives, the Scottsdale Gucci store is disappointing and will never get my business again. Gucci will never get my business again. I have a feeling no-one cares in this company. I bought a pair of sandals and the buckle was defective, and the store representative knew it. She pulled the right shoe out of the box un-hooked the strap but I asked to try the left on-it’s my bigger foot. It fit- I paid. I get home pull the shoes out of the package to wear them and the leather on the right buckle was peeling off. The store clerk boxed them up knowing this was the case because she had to re-buckle it to put the packaging back in the shoe. I had to return them-they ordered and had to ship new ones- which I had to go back to the store to pick up. Okay- nothing earth shattering, just sold a defective product. Luckily they had another in the system. Same day I pick up these shoes I took a backpack in to get fixed and cleaned- it was repaired -not cleaned- they told me they would clean it. I offered to pay if it wasn’t covered-it came back fixed, but not cleaned. I told the clerk they shouldn’t say it would get cleaned if they wouldn’t do it. Not a big deal except how I was treated after I made the comment. The clerk literally ignored me and walked off saying we’re just a middleman, we don’t clean. Not a problem, just don’t tell your customers you will.

It wasn’t the fact that I couldn’t get the purse clean through them, I’ll take it to my shoe guy and he’ll take care of it. It was the fact that while I’m talking, the woman walked away from me and said they’re just the middleman. Customer service has gone to hell in a handbasket. The manager was sitting in a chair just staring and watching this exchange. I will never Ever buy another thing from this company. Large companies like this can put themselves out of business look at lululemon.

Fraudsters

Fraudsters, no refund was issued after returning a item that was in brand new packaging not even removed from the packaging, I waited over 3weeks for this item , it was delivered to the wrong address, The courier claimed he delivered it to the right address on the tracking information which was a lie and false . I contacted Gucci. They were very slow at responding. They took weeks to respond to an email I contacted them Over 10 times, they did not resolve my issue located the item which was delivered to a neighbour on a different street after 3 1/2 weeks I returned the item to this brunch. The guy that took the item was extremely rude. He said you should receive a refund. It has been two weeks now they are lying and claiming it has been over 30 days and they cannot issue my refund, when I only found the item a week ago stay away from Gucci I will be reporting them and taking further action to get my refund as I have lost my item and £1300

I am Tugce Karakus,

I regret to inform you about my disappointment and frustration with the Gucci brand. I hope that after reading this message, you will understand what I have experienced.

From the first day, I have faced several issues.

Firstly, I purchased a pair of sunglasses from your Gucci store located at Harrods Limited, 87-135 Brompton Road, London SW1X 7XL, on June 4th, 2023, between 17:13 and 17:30. I was very excited to bring the sunglasses home. However, less than a month later, the screws on the sides of the sunglasses fell out, and all the parts of the sunglasses were detached when I took them out of the box.

I immediately went back to the Gucci store where I bought the sunglasses and explained the situation. The lady working there said she would send the sunglasses to the technical service and that the repair would take about 8 weeks. I agreed, and she filled out a technical service form for me, saying that she would send me an email with information about the sunglasses after 8 weeks. However, 8 weeks passed, and I still didn't receive any email.

I went back to the same store with my technical service form. Another lady working there told me that there was no information about the sunglasses in the technical service system and that they had no information about the sunglasses. She said they were only sales consultants and couldn't do anything in this situation. She then directed me, almost like she was dismissing me, to the Gucci store located at 18 Sloane Street, London SW1X 9NE.

I went to the indicated Gucci store with great disappointment and frustration. There, I explained the situation to a lady named Denise. She tried to help me sincerely and made a few phone calls. Then she told me that I could choose another pair of sunglasses from the store. I had to choose a different pair of sunglasses, which was cheaper than the original broken pair I had bought. Denise gave me a voucher worth £65 for the price difference between the old and new sunglasses.

On June 25th, 2024, I went to the same store to use this £65 voucher. I picked a Gucci perfume worth £110. A different staff member helped me with my purchase. I showed him the perfume I wanted, and I paid the £45 difference with my credit card. The staff member said he would pack the perfume for me. Later, he brought the perfume wrapped in a white Gucci package and handed it to me in a burgundy Gucci bag.

When I got home, I opened the package to check the perfume. The color of the bottle was different from the one I had chosen. I thought maybe the tester bottle was different, so I smelled the perfume. However, it was a completely different perfume, and it was a men's perfume. I thought it might be a joke, but after checking online, I realized it was indeed the wrong perfume.

I am attaching the receipts and photos of both the sunglasses and the perfume for your reference.

I used to love the Gucci brand, but it has caused me great disappointment and frustration. I have visited your store, which is an hour away from my home, multiple times. I have lost time, didn't get any of the products I wanted, and paid multiple travel expenses. I hope that after reading about my experience, you will understand my frustration and show some empathy.

Unfortunately, I will be sharing this negative experience on several complaint platforms along with the evidence, just as I have shared it with you. I will no longer shop at your Gucci store and will discourage everyone I know from shopping there as well. This situation has truly saddened me.

I hope you understand and consider what you would do if you were in my place.

Don’t buy a Gucci watch

Gucci are unable to offer a replacement leather watch strap, with a similar standard,as it’s a Vintage watch.
The manager has been unhelpful and obstructive, not replying to phone calls & failing to follow up on the strap, referring to previous emails and getting junior colleagues to contact me.
If you’re looking for a nice watch, don’t buy from Gucci, the after sales is very poor. Buy a quality product, TagHeur staff and service in comparison are extremely helpful.

Asked them to replace the gold emblem…

Asked them to replace the gold emblem on the side of my sunglasses, had been worn a total of 10 times.. the repair cost was half the price of the sunglasses.. I didn’t not go ahead with the repair and I will not be buying Gucci sunglasses again.. cheap poor quality for $600 sunglasses. Just buy the fakes people… Do not recommend

Do not buy from the online Gucci store

Do not buy from the online Gucci store. They do not accept returns. My wife purchased $800 shoes that were extremely uncomfortable. She wore them inside the house for about 15 minutes and could take no more. Retuned the shoes, return was rejected because they were worn? Gucci’s position is if they have been tried on they are worn and will not accept a return. Horrible customer service and policy.

Crack.
I went to exchange, their manager had bad attitude and even trying to judge me not to check the shoes.
As a luxury brand, you should give your customers a great condition product, not the one that broke

recently purchased an $800 belt from…

recently purchased an $800 belt from the Gucci store at LAX Airport and did not receive a receipt. Without the receipt, I am unable to exchange the belt for the correct size. I have reached out to Gucci's customer service multiple times via email but have not received any response or resolution.

This experience has been extremely frustrating, and I am very disappointed with the lack of support from such a high-end brand. I expected better service and prompt resolution, especially considering the amount spent on this purchase. I hope Gucci will address this issue and improve their customer service for future clients.

Bought a hairband which never arrived

Bought a hairband which never arrived. Gucci refused to refund or replace item. They continually refuse to allow you to speak with management. Never been spoken to in such a disgusting manner in all my life. Shameful customer service - ignorant, incoherent vile staff. I’ve now had to raise a chargeback against Gucci for failing to refund me. GO ELSEWHERE

Best shopping experience.

I always have a great experience. I only go through Sophie in NYC. I live about 5 minutes from the Gucci store in Scottsdale. But she is great. Anderson my text late at night. I love their stuff as well! I can’t say enough good things about them. Sophie deserves an award.

Terrible Gucci

Terrible Gucci, I was invited twice to do a campaign with them as a supermodel, as I’m the golden ratio world record holder and rudely they asked me to buy a heavily discounted piece of jewellery at $99 per piece. I was scammed both times, never received the jewellery, never did the campaign. Clara Levine at Runway Collaborations is to blame as well. Gucci staff are corrupt serial killers with the ILLUMANATI.

Beyond disappointed

Beyond disappointed! I splurged on a pair of Gucci shoes back in August, thinking I was treating myself to something really special. Used them twice, mind you, both times sitting down at fancy events. And it fell apart! How can a brand like Gucci make shoes that can't even last three hours total?

First, I email them pics of the broken shoes, and they told me to take it to the nearest store. So I did, and two weeks later, I'm told I can either wait three months for a repair or get in-store credit. I didn't pick any because, honestly, who's got time for a three-month wait? Also, the amount of money I paid for the shoes wouldn't get me anything I really wanted at the store.

Now, here's where the real fun begins. I drive to the Gucci Outlet in Livermore, a solid three-hour from my house, hoping to sort this all out. But nope, they make me leave the shoes and wait for another call about my credit. Two weeks later they tell me to come back to confirm the credit. Oh, and there's no guarantee they'll have anything I actually want.

So, I try going the virtual appointment route online, you know, to save myself another long drive. No luck. Four times I try, and nothing. So, I start calling them to set up an online appointment, a total of twelve calls, just trying to reach the outlet. Every time, they promise to sort it or talk to their manager, but guess what? Nothing happens.

Finally, after two weeks of this, I got tired of trying and asked for a refund, to which they refused to issue.

As a fashion lover and first-time Gucci buyer, I'm seriously let down. Not only the outlet store for its lack of professionalism and care for their clients, but also to the brand itself, that after see me attempt contact so many times, being nothing but a nice and understanding human being, did nothing to help me or escalate the situation.

Long story short, if you want to be treated well, with respect and care when purchasing high fashion, stir away from Gucci

Not worth it

The way I see I don't buy a product because of their brand name I choose the one who has better customer service when you need help or inquiry about something of their brand, and the way I see it the gucci UK branch has the worst customer service, and that's my own experience I had with them, there's alot of big brands out there with better customer service, they lucky they've got one star from me because there is no option of zero star.

The WORST customer service ever

The WORST customer service ever. Sent wrong size shoes and took over 6 calls to receive a return label and still haven't been refunded after another 6 calls. Probably spent over 5 hours. They are arrogant, rude and they won't allow you to speak w supervisors to fix problems.

Terrible quality strap, worse customer service.

I have a bengal tote purchased about 5 or 6 years ago. My first of several Gucci purchases. I use this bag around 3x per year, never over weighted and keep it properly stored stuffed in its dust bag. The condition is excellent. Last month the leather strap tore in half while wearing it. The leather is so thin and flimsy. Gucci would not comment on how it broke and only offered to sell me a replacement strap. Ridiculous that they would not replace an obviously flawed product.

I purchased a pair of Gucci sneakers in America, wore them twice and they were giving me blisters as the finishing inside the shoe wasn’t right, took them to Bicester Gucci store showed them the issue and she took the shoe and said we will be escalate the issue and send them off, week later received and email to say they can’t repair them, so then spoke with the manager there which was a lovely guy who send them off again as he opened up the shoe and seen where the issue was, but again they said they can’t repair them send several emails to complain and asked for this to be escalated to a manager but no response, the aftercare in Gucci is terrible, I spent nearly £900 on these sneakers which are giving me blisters because shoes finishing isn’t right but they won’t resolve the issue, won’t ever buy anything again in Gucci
