Don’t buy from Guess
Another bad story…bought and paid for a bag 2 December. Chased 3 times to customer service and still no bag and still no response 2 months after. How do I get my money back?! AWFUL!
Order submitted 24th Jan and no tracking 6 days later
My order was submitted and paid on 24th January and as of 30th January its still not here and DHL parcel tracking says no tracking of that number. Wish I had read the reviews here before ordering as they would have not had my business. For an order over £200 and still waiting for it, advice is go elsewhere.
UPDATE 31/1/23:
Thought Id best update my one star review. After posting the review and emailing them through their contact form I promptly received an email from their customer services apologising and saying delivery is 4-8 working days and that this was still within timeframe (ordered 24th Jan enquiry 30th Jan) and that tracking wont be seen until it has arrived in UK. Whether coincidental but later that day I then received the tracking information. Ive had delivery today (31st Jan) with the items ordered and pleased with the product. So despite the worry, thankfully paying on credit card, my items have been received. Somewhat relieved and pleased with result. I "guess" you have to patient!!

I bought it from my account my boyfriend gave to me as Xmas present and it was delivered at his address and name. Can you believe the girl in the phone was insisting the data didn’t match. I was giving her everything and she sad she was hearing a WOMAN voice and the name at her judgement was male she told me she could accept that.. CAN YOU IMAGINE IF I WAS TRANS??? ABSURD!!! When I said it she got quite I could her typing and calling her she didn’t reply to me.. didn’t want to help me.
And all because I want to return a product.
This whole ordeal of returning these low-quality products is a nightmare.
Frustration is building up as we've spent days grappling with different issues – the malfunctioning barcode, rejection of the oversized box, and an ongoing struggle. I need a solution urgently! I refuse to endure the inconvenience of lugging around this heavy box any longer. The return deadline is looming, and I won't subject myself to this humiliation. Bought women’s trainers for £80 and they creased after one wear. They are now being sold for £40 so I’m assuming they’ve had many complaints. As it was a gift, I only opened them on my birthday but they were ordered over a month earlier so it’s past the return date. Still waiting to hear back from customer services.

It is very dissapointing that this company's website have very poor level of payment facility so remember that as a customer if you try to purchase something on their website with your debit or credit card you will be charged wrongly by the company the order wont go through so better to use paypal for peace of mind because that is only payment method worked properly, otherwise if you risk your debit card and credit card details with them you will get charged wrongly and exactly same thing happend with my case my bank had to refund me the money and bank said this company might try to claim back money again which was charged incorrectly. Ordered a bag for my Daughter 2 weeks…
Ordered a bag for my Daughter 2 weeks before Christmas. No bag arrived to date, the tracking number never worked and they have said when it arrives back they will provide a refund. They lie and fail to answer emails and to date, I have received no refund for the bag that was never dispatched. I have just sent another email informing them that I am going to trading standards, only £100 but why should they sell items that they had no intention of providing? I wish I had read the reviews here, my advice don't spend a penny with them.
Guess immediately after this review was posted have refunded the product but of course failed to refund the gift packaging that I paid for.
My advice does not change avoid buying there products directly.

Abusive Policies & Lying Customer Service Reps
I've had winter coats from Guess before, always in the same size. This year, I ordered one in the usual size and couldn't even begin to zip it up...didn't even make it to my waist. That's when I found that Guess doesn't offer exchanges. Instead, you have to order a new one and do a return on the old one.
The second time around, I ordered a size larger than usual (still not true to the size chart, but at least zippable) and opted to have it shipped to a UPS Store, which was listed as a free shipping option. I never received a notification that it arrived at the destination, I just checked one day and found that it arrived there several days prior. When I went to the UPS Store, I had to wait for about an hour and pay $20 cash to pick it up because Guess doesn't actually have a shipping agreement with UPS, they just ship stuff there without permission. Rightfully, UPS charges a package handling fee. This is no different than if Guess shipped your package to your neighbor, expecting your neighbor to receive and store it for you. So I called Guess and was told that if I provided a receipt, I'd have the $20 refunded to me within 24 hours.
Days went by without hearing back from Guess after I provided the receipt, so I called again. That time, I was told that nobody said it would be refunded to me (i.e, I was lied to), that instead I would have the $20 automatically applied to any order I placed from Guess.com, simply by using the same email address at checkout.
I tested that by putting together an order, and no discount was applied. So I called yet again, and I was told that there's no such option for automatic discounts. Instead, a loyalty account was created for me, which explains why I suddenly started receiving Guess marketing emails without my permission.
At that point, I told Guess to go $#*! off and keep my $20, that I hope it was worth it to lose my business and have me badmouth them whenever the opportunity arises. They lie over and over again, they claim to provide free shipping that's no actually free, and when they screw up, they try to make up for it by forcing you to spend more money with them.

I ordered from Guess on the 12th of December with the promise of delivery before Christmas - what a lie!! Had to chase up the tracking number 3 times as it was not working to simply be told there was a 'delay' - terrible customer service. Resolution given was a five percent off a future order - don't think I will be using that!!! Insulting offer, no compensation for having ruined a Christmas gift!

Purchased items 15 th Dec for Christmas 28 th Dec several phone calls and emails later and I have not received the items.
Customer service is atrocious and unproductive unfortunately not well trained and no option to speak to a manager or supervisor. I am left waiting for 7 days to receive a refund if the items are lost at customs!! Do not buy from this company they are not as good as you would expect. I live in the UK. I now have to wait for my £106 refund to go and buy the presents I had purchased for Christmas. Very disappointed to say the least. I was not offered any kind of compensation or sincere apology.
Poor quality Guess handbag.
I purchased a Guess handbag for my daughter for Christmas in 2021. She has only used the bag for special occasions, no more than once a month. At the top of the bag the leather is peeling away all along the zip quite badly. I contacted Guess with the receipt and photos, they were completely dismissive and not interested at all. This is very disappointing as the bag was expensive (over £80) and not the quality we would expect from Guess. I would suggest avoiding this brand in future, it is poor quality and will not last.

I bought this bag in Aug 2023 at Cause way point woodland to give myself as a birthday gift about $100.
Unfortunately, after 1 week of use the skin dropped off. The material is very bad. I got very bad impression. Will never by it again.Very disappointed with the quality of bag. Wil not recommend anyone to buy GUESS bags

I purchased a tshirt instore in October for a birthday in December (because I’m organised). Anyway, the tshirt doesn’t fit but guess will not offer an exchange or store credit. I don’t expect a refund with it being out of the 30days but to be offered nothing at all. Now my partner has a tshirt that is too small and I’m just expected to be £25 out of pocket. Absolutely disgusting. I emailed customer services after not being happy with the girls response in store and customer service are just as bad. They do not care about their customers and offer no resolution at all.

Just don't use at all - lie about shipping times states 3-5 days to arrive in store then on their website then once they take payement send an invoice to state 4-8 business days to arrive in the UK then it's 3 working days from then to arrive. Very misleading and incompentent sales staff which is obviously outsourced. Just don't buy anything from their website - probably explains why guesses prices and clothing quality has dropped!
