The company Buffalo Gap Outfitters in Franklintown, Pa. failed to mention that the revolver they sold me had scuff marks on the cylinder and the muzzle of the barrel which were not shown in the pictures…And one chamber of the cylinder fails to lock in place…They tried to make it sound like the revolver was in NEW condition and perfect…It is NOT

Auto Ordinance Thompson 1927A1
The Thompson 1927A1 was well represented in photos posted by the seller.
The price was fair, based on current market.
Shipping was slower than expected,
seemingly due using USPS... for a firearm, maybe not the best choice.
Packaging was fair, but may not have been adequate, as the charging handle seemed to have been "shifted" during shipping, and with the safety selector in the position it was, the bolt seemed to get stuck halfway... Took some effort on the part of the gunsmith to address it
Test firing, with both the provided 20 round stick magazine and a drum, a few failures of founds to go into battery occurred. At this point, we're assuming that it may be due to the firearm needing to be better lubricated.
Communication with the seller before and following the sale regarding questions on the firearm and on shipping were answered quickly and professionally.

All was good until it wasent
I have now made several purchases from Gun Broker.com. The first two were flawless and could not be more pleased with the seller, the site, and all communications. The last purchase, I must admit that the experience is BAD. The seller lists an item with a description and that is what I expected. What I received was not complete and I feel a bit deceived.
I feel that if you’re bidding in an on-line auction, you should get a reply to any questions asked. Not good business when there is no reply and you receive less that what was listed in the item description.
