total scam

total scam, never got my watch, and my comments echo those below so not original but i figure the more people see it and in numbers hopefully they get shut down. Unreal that MH would not audit their advertisers. And it was not just an add, it was in their "styles" review with lots of praise. MH lost me forever on this one.

I ordered a watch in May 2019.

I ordered a watch in May 2019.
I’ve sent probably 20-30 emails complaining.
Their replies include:
My watch was delayed in customs,or lost my order or lost in transit.
Latest reply is that my watch is now no longer available and I have to chose another one.
Draw your own conclusions folks!!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!
I ordered the watch a month ago now. I had to chase for an update to which a few days later I had a reply saying it would be another 5 days until my order was shipped... more 5 days have passed and still no watch. I have emailed 3 times now asking to cancel my order, not to send the watch and the refund my money - of course no reply. It’s a massive con and they have basically stolen my money. This is a con.

I too believed as the advert was in Mens Health that the company was reputable.

I saw GWC in GQ magazine and assumed that the brand would be reputable, due to them being in GQ. How wrong I was...the watch I ordered (a Panerai Luminor style watch) arrived and I was immediately disappointed. The second hand does not match up to the hour markings on the dial and it is virtually impossible to accurately set the minute hand, as it jumps when you push the crown in.
Not worth the money..buy a Casio

Well marketed rubbish watches

This product was promoted in an article in GQ magazine. the watch I purchased failed in 3 weeks and no-one responds to emails and there is no address for returns on the website.
it would appear to be a well set up outfit selling rubbish watches with no redress.
I have raised the issue with GQ magazine who should not promote products they have not looked into.
DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY IF MY EXPERIENCE IS ANYTHING TO GO BY

It's all a bit of a con

It's all a bit of a con. This is NOT a UK based company despite what their website blurb says. The're just peddling cheap chinese watches at inflated prices. Example - Megir Mesh Chrono £59, you can get it for half that price on Amazon & even cheaper if you look harder. I'd avoid this company in future.

Misleading company who lie about their…

Misleading company who lie about their products/service. Only bought as recommended in gq magazine. Ordered on 4 Feb for partners birthday on 11th as it said express delivery. It's arrived today 23rd Feb. It looks like it's a UK based company but basically they are just shipping over watches that cost about £5 on Aliexpress from China and charging £35. But they don't tell you its coming from China. Oh and it arrived in a paper bag with a bit of bubble wrap around the face. Not the quality product you might expect you're paying for so I'm glad it's been delivered to me rather than him so at least I can rewrap it to make it look decent but I wouldn't buy again. I might as well go straight to the horses mouth and pay a fiver and have it sent from China, at least i know what to expect that way .....

Beware do not buy a watch

Beware do not buy a watch from this company. I bought a watch over 2 months ago and have still not received anything. No watch and no refund. I have had the odd email blaming suppliers but nothing else. The watches appear to come from China but the chances are you will not receive a watch and you will be out of pocket. It is one big con. Do not fall for it.

Waste of time and money

These watches are terrible, they are just cheap Chinese watches, poor quality and full of misleading information. They are nowhere near the quality they appear to be on the website. Most frustrating is that you are led to believe they will be delivered with 5 days but actually it takes a month. Also a quick search on google you will find the same watches at a third of the price. After seeing a review in GQ I purchased a watch for £60 only to find out later that you can by it on amazon for £15.

Awful quality - can't actually keep the time.

Delivery: Very slow
Customer service: Good
Item quality: Awful

Details:

I purchased 2 watches from them and they simply do not work. The hands move but I'm not sure what speed as they never keep the right time. Within 4 weeks both have stopped working.

I contacted the company and they immediately sent out replacements. Notably they didn't ask for the broken ones back, which is telling of the value of these products. The replacements had the same issue and couldn't keep the time.

Final replacement was sent and again the same problem.

I gave up bothering to followup as they weren't worth the time.

Absolutely shocking

Absolutely shocking. Ordered a watch believing the delivery was 5-7 days to the UK as per their website. They have since told me that they only have standard delivery, which will inevitably be around a month.
After waiting several weeks, they said they'd lost the order and refunded my money.
This is just another 'English' style website, that is in the end selling low range Chinese watches that are sent direct from the manufacturers, or not in my case.

This outfit is an utter joke

This outfit is an utter joke. Avoid! I ordered four items from GWC, with the firm intention that the items would arrive before Christmas. After sending three emails to ask on order status, finally got a reply, only to say they had issues with their supplier, no apologies, no trying to rectify the situation, the list goes on! And still no items! The fact they are still trading or allowed to trade is beyond me! Do not purchase from GWC, if you value your money and good customer service!

Ordered over a week ago

Ordered over a week ago, no follow up emails since taking my money. I have emailed them twice, and now a third time this morning - absolutely no reply. Joke - if they dont respond today i'll be requesting paypal refund me on the basis that the product probably doesnt exist. Never again.
