Really disappointing experience. Sidelined into using the company through estate agents and with only first time seller knowledge behind me I did not realise what I let myself in for. Poor communication across partners involved with the sale and felt like an inconvience at every step of the process. Everytime I called for an update it was brushed off due to 'lunch' or I got a 30 second window to be spoken at condescendingly. I was consistently told every sale is different and it does not matter what anyone else says, suggests or asks. Unfortuntely I would not recommend this company.

In the extremely stressful process of house buying, professionalism, efficiency, communication & transparency are paramount.
Hamers & particularly Sophie Rogers displayed all these attributes.

Carl and his team, at Hamer's dealt with several house sales for us and these were all done as swiftly as possible and at all times, we were kept updated.
Took the hardship out of the situation on many occasions and made the process seamless. If any problems arose, we were advised and took the best route in order to complete the sales smoothly.

Dealing with Gemma Prudent was so easy. She helped us through some difficult situations and was always willing to help with advice. She went above and beyond each time we spoke to her. J & P d’A

I would totally recommend this company and liz for divorce mediation.

I was very negative about attending this mediation session as there was already a court order in Place . After speaking with Liz who explained the procedure i agreed to attend . I attended two sessions with Liz who was very professional and helpful throughout . Liz was easy to talk to and would listen to your issues . I can not praise Liz highly enough and i would recommend her to anybody who needs mediation .

Obviously not a nice experience having to go threw this sort of service, but while I was going threw this they made the experience alot easier, they were friendly, understanding and impartial, the communication between myself and then other half was good and dine very professionally,

Great company and really helped me with my divorce. They ran through every step.

Throughout the entire process our appointed solicitor at Hamers was very professional, friendly and very compassionate with our difficult situation and the advice and guidance we received was simply 1st class. This enabled us to resolve a very daunting situation and reach agreement with my wife’s former employer despite some unexpected difficulties. I have used hamers in Accrington before and he was fantastic...however..be very careful with this lot!
I instructed one of their team for some conveyencing in 2021
However a couple of days afterwards I cancelled it, as the sale did NOT progress due to a damning survey on the property.

I assured them that if I found another property in the near future that I would be in contact, she agreed that she had not yet done any work in relation to the sale, so as far I was aware that concluded our business.

Now she is alleging I owe for searches and other work which is incorrect.
The searches had already been carried out by a previous solicitors firm and I have the documentation.

I have just had a clerk leave a threatening debt collection message in my answer phone.

I will be contacting an appropriate legal professional about this harassment
They are a penny pinching company.

I recently used Elizabeth Morris at Hamers Solicitors to handle the mediation during my divorce and she was really fabulous. I was very anxious at the beginning and Liz talked me through the process step by step in a way that was clear and understandable to digest. During the mediation Liz was extremely helpful and understanding with no judgements. I felt supported and understood. She helped us reach an agreement very quickly and I was happy with the outcome. She also provided me with support completing court application paperwork which was really appreciated. I really couldn't have asked for better client care and support during what has been a really difficult time. Thank you.
