I had a really nice experience at Hamilton & Inches with Jonathan. He took the time to genuinely listen and understand the story behind the gift I’m hoping to get for my husband, which I really appreciated.

He’s very knowledgeable about watches and gave me a personable tour of what Hamilton & Inches offers. When he found out we’d just moved to Edinburgh, he was also incredibly kind in sharing personal tips on settling in, along with some of his favourite restaurant recommendations. Very warmth and kind Scottish as always. 😊

We've been purchasing beautiful items from Hamilton&Inches, Edinburgh, for some years now, a kind of family tradition.
Jonathan always served and helped us over the years extremely kind, polite and professionally.
This year, he even worked miracles - and so did the workshop staff - because one of the needed parts was actually not available singularly anymore. Somehow, they'd found it anyway and in the end, were able to create another gorgious item. Thanks to them all! We highly recommend this exceptional jeweller.

My wife and I visited Hamilton and Inches late afternoon one Saturday without an appointment where I met Ruth whom I initially found to be extremely polite and friendly given the store was near closing.

Ruth took us through to the rear of the store and offered my wife and I a beverage. It was at this juncture Ruth’s professionalism and knowledge surrounding the Rolex brand was clearly evident. She listened intently and showed great understanding and
subsequently showed us suitable timepieces for my collection. Ruth went far and beyond any service I would expect as we were passed the stores closing time and it was of no concern to Ruth whatsoever.

I had a remarkable experience at Hamilton and Inches, Edinburgh, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Ruth and I hope other employees are of the same ilk.

The staff are very knowledgeable about the beautiful items for sale. Jonathan, Carrick and Giacomo were all very helpful and accommodating, answering our many questions and enquiries. The boutique is beautiful and the company is very welcoming to those that just wish to browse. A visit is highly recommended.

My partner and I had attended to discuss fixing a clasp on a necklace which is incredibly important to her.

From the beginning of our visit, the experience felt very relaxing, yet with a subtle undertone of professionalism.

Although we did not have an appointment, our consultant Giacomo, went far and beyond what one would expect for a random visit.

Exceptional Edinburgh Jeweller. I met Jonathan for the first time today by prior appointment where I was making a note of significant interest in what will be my first Rolex timepiece. A very knowledgeable gent with a warm charm backed by welcoming colleagues. Fingers crossed I am lucky enough to take ownership of a watch in time for my 40th birthday.

I recently made a purchase from Hamilton & Inches on George St and had a ring serviced and cleaned at the same time. The shop has a pleasant, relaxed atmosphere with a wide selection of high-quality jewellery and watches. Ruth and Lesley helped me; they were both very helpful and friendly. If you're looking for a special purchase, I recommend visiting.

Visited this shop today to register our interest in a couple of time pieces and Giacomo was great start to finish. Very knowledgeable in this field and helpful. I look forward to visiting again when time comes to pick up a new watch.

I was in Edinburgh for a work event, strolling through the city for the first time I came across this authorised dealer, I had a glance at the timepieces on display and not knowing what to expect I walked into the store. I was greeted by a kind fellow at the door who welcomed me in and introduced me to Aaron. Aaron generously talked me through the Rolex watches, not knowing what I initially was looking for he sat me down and discussed the unique capabilities of each timepiece and helped me decide the watch best suited to me. I have to say, it was a great experience and I look forward to purchasing the watch and meeting Aaron again.

Update - Unfortunately I have had to lower the score only because I have been told by the manager Crystal that I will not be able to purchase my first watch as they prioritise loyal customers… She also made a strange remark and said if I buy a watch elsewhere to return to Hamilton & Inches in the future.. needless to say I won’t be returning.

I still however stand by what I said regarding Aaron and my experience with him was great. It’s a shame his manager Crystal has tainted the entire experience for me.

Upon entering the store we were welcomed by Ruth who took us through the process of registering interest with Rolex. She was very knowledgeable about the products and the aftercare service having recently made a visit the UK Rolex repair services. Ruth guided us through the application process and answered all of our questions and set realistic expectations of what we can expect now that our interest has been registered. The glass of bubbly was also very welcome!
I have no reservations recommending Hamilton and Inches. The service was impeccable.
