Duped then Fleeced

What's this? a legitimate website, beautifully presented showing all product in pounds/sterling. The perfect Christmas present you might think. BUYER BEWARE!! - Despite stating 'shipping and tax calculated at checkout' at the Cart section of the site. My parcel has failed to be delivered. So I've just been off to the post office to hand over more than 50% the value of my order in tax!!. Net result - I feel duped then fleeced. Had the site listed products in Swedish Krona that would have been more obvious. Poor show Hanataba you need to do better - here's my order number if you have the decency to refund my postage and tax - #20664

Beware the massive additional costs!

Beware the massive additional costs!
I did a relatively big order (around £250 on products so not massive parcel wise) and already had to pay £34 delivery. Then after everything went through DHL informs of a £78 customs charge. Apparently Hanataba say I should have checked the T&Cs and my country’s regulations and take no responsibility for any heads up/ reminder/ watch out for additional costs.
Really take the joy out of this treat I bought as gifts. So plan to double your expense on delivery or stay under the £135 customs free threshold. So poor.

Good customer service despite Post-nord’s error

I saw the reviews the Hanataba and become very skeptical, but despite this ordered one for my friends birthday.

It was said that it was going to be delivered within seven days. I received a message that the package couldn’t be delivered in my mailbox, but that I would get a message when I could pick up the package at my local store. I didn’t get any message and it turns out that it was Post Nord that, mistakenly resent it back.

I then took contact with Customer service at Hanataba and they resent it the same day. I got the package now and are very happy with the customer service of the business.
