Big disappointment. Horrible quality!
I ordered over $200 of infant clothing for my new grandson on a recommendation from a friend. Shipping was slow, items did not arrive by the time I needed them. I was very disappointed in the quality of the product. They were rough, not at all soft as they described. And they were cheaply made. I returned the items and would not recommend this company for quality baby apparel.

I am so disappointed in Hanna Anderson. I have purchased clothes from them for over 30 years. My own 5 children and now my 7 grandchildren are are wearing and handing down the garments. No question, the best clothing for daily styles and practical living. Comfortable and great styling. I am truly 100% behind their clothing. Shipping and discounts are another thing. I purchased the other day, before discounts, 7 pairs of pajamas that came to over $300. I had a 20% discount code and with the discounts that were on a few pairs of the pajamas, my total was coming out at $200. I buy these pajamas every year for Easter for my grandchildren who live in 3 different states. With that being said, unless I made 3 different orders, they would not ship to different locations, even though shipping was free. If I made 3 different purchases, they wouldn't give me the 20% discount, except on ONE of the purchases. So, you see the dilemma!! To make this story shorter, I had to have all of the pajamas shipped to me and will now have to ship them myself to the various locations. I even asked if they would give me expedited shipping to get them to me quicker so that I could turn around and get them to the kids by Easter, and the answer was NO. I find this very disappointing from a company like them and think they should figure issues like this out or should have at least overnighted my order so that I could turn around and pay for shipping to get them to the grandkids on time. I gave this issue 24 hours before deciding if it was worth writing a review but I just am so bummed that this was even a situation. I hope it brings attention to them as a company as a whole and they work on issues like this.
Durable Clothing and Sizing with Room to Grow
I finally gave HannaAndersson a try and was pleasantly surprised. Their fabrics seem high quality and durable - so far everything I’ve purchased looks like new after washing. Nothing has shrunk (although I never machine dry clothing anyway - the dryer just eats the fabric). The patterns and colors are lovely, and the sizing is great. Everything fits true to size, and still seems to provide lots of room in which to grow. I will definitely continue buying from HannaAndersson.
Striped pajamas are not the quality…
Striped pajamas are not the quality they were about 5 years ago! They were very thick and long lasting. Now they are very thin and stretchy and become worn a lot quicker with normal use. I will be finding another brand not worth it anymore!
Sizing is off
Sizing is off. I purchased size 3 for my daughter which was super short. Next time, I purchased similar style pants in size 4, super long, measurements on the website is way off. It takes 2 weeks of ship items, had to beg for tracking # for one order as it was not updated to the website. Overall quality was worse than last year. Never purchasing from them again.

My last two orders placed had items cancelled. I’ve been a shopper for 6+ years. With 4 kids I’m a frequent shopper. Customer service seems to be declining. I shop with Boden now and even Gap bc they have much better customer service and policies. Quality is good but not good enough to make up for poor support.
Refund on return takes *five weeks*
Clothing is high-quality and truly lovely. However, I had $237 worth of clothes to return. These items were unopened. Ordered Dec 4, returned Dec 12, using their FedEx label which cost me $5. I called customer service today wondering where my refund was, and was told it will take an additional *7 business days* for them to process. Counting New Year’s, that’s *January 11*. The delay was attributed to the holiday, FedEx being swamped, Hanna Anderson being so busy, etc. The representative was matter-of-fact, as if this processing time was an industry standard. I have never experienced a refund process that took more than 14 days, let alone *a month* from shipping to refund. I find this wholly unacceptable and as much as I value their clothing, I won’t be back.
This company does not offer price…
This company does not offer price adjustment. I asked my order to be cancelled as it was placed just a day before the sale and it has not been shipped yet. They would not cancel or offer free return. I expected a better customer service from this company. For the price, very disappointed.
Strive For Integrity Hanna Andersson
Basically just a repeat of what the others have said. On week 5 of waiting for an order the post office assured me that was no longer in transit.
On my 7th attempt for resolution and after contacting PayPal to dispute I was finally “told” they would request a refund. Of course I have zero confidence in the company but one can hope they will stand behind something.
Never an apology for Hanna Andersson’s shipping issues, the fact that it took 7 attempts before a reply or that we missed the occasion (photo shoot) which the products were intended for. I went out of the norm spending $300+ on a military income to be left feeling unheard, unappreciated and honestly just bothered by Jillian the customer service representative. Just a “ok” followed up with “your chat has ended”.
Hanna Andersson Company next company meeting should discuss having some values and integrity if you want your business to continue and/or thrive, this is an embarrassing look for you all. The
The best pijamas ever!
I was skeptical to buy when I saw the reviews here, but I have to say that I’m more than satisfied!! They are actually better than the picture and the material it’s just comfortable and very nice quality. For reference, I bought the “Dear Deer” Christmas pijamas.
Shipping to APO addresses
I ordered several items the first week of November to be shipped to an APO address.
No one ever mentioned that due to the way they ship to APO addresses the items you order will not get to the addressee for 4-6 weeks or even longer.
I was just given that information today (by a rude employee) when I called to see where the order was. It’s now been 4 weeks and they have no idea where my order is because instead of using a flat rate USPS box to ship, they use Fed Ex which carries the order to Chicago where it sits for several weeks before someone picks it up to ship to the APO address. LUDICROUS!
I have ordered from numerous stores. Those items got to their APO destination in 2-21/2 weeks. The things ship USPS flat rate arrive in 2 weeks.
Why Hanna Anderson doesn’t want to do better for Military families is beyond me!
Disappointed
I ordered matching pajamas for my husband and my son. My husband’s showed up and my sons did not. They no longer have the pajamas in stock, now I lose out on what a wanted because of the mistake they have made.
I have a story to tell
I have to share a story after I gush about this company… I just have to say that I LOVE HANNA ANDERSON . I truly adore them and the clothes they produce, they last so long and my child is rough on her clothing, it is hard to find good quality childrens clothing that doesn’t wear fast in the wash… but my MAIN POINT is that their customer service is epic. I am a very exhausted scatterbrained person, I ordered matching pjs for all of my family and needed them asap for a special surprise coming up, well I’m waiting for the package and luckily I took a look at the address it’s supposed to be shipped at. I look and realize, I combined the number of my work address with the street name of our new house, THE COMPLETELY WRONG ADDRESS, and it was my fault whole heartedly. I called ups and the my couldn’t help, they said to see if the shipper(HA) could put in a request…. I call Hanna Andersons customer service, I was maybe on hold for 2 minutes… super easy getting connected to a real live person. I explained the issue and how I messed up. The kind woman said “well that’s alright! We can put in a request to change the address, if they can’t” then she said… WE WILL SEND OUT A REPLACEMENT PACKAGE AT NO COST TO YOU! No cost to me!???? Replacing all 7 items for free because I typed the wrong address?!?!
Now that is 5 STAR customer service

Their return policy is a scam
Their return policy is a scam. They sent a defective item and will not refund it. They have tried requiring me to send the item back to them which requires a printer and then requires me go to a drop off location, and after that they said their policy only includes Hanna Anderson gift cards as a refund option, even though the first person who wrote me said they would refund it to original form of payment. It also says it will take 2-3 weeks or more after the item is received for them to issue a repayment. This was a $17 item from a $300 order which arrived badly stained from some sort of factory oil. Just a ridiculous company and I won't support them in the future, which is unfortunate because other than that item the clothes were decent.
Terrible quality!
I was given some onesie PJ's from this company when my oldest was a baby and they seemed like good quality. So I decided to order some things for my girls for the summer. Two of the dresses I bought came apart the FIRST time I washed them (I have a top loading washer, no agitator)! One of them I need to spend money on to take to the tailor and repair because the hem came undone! The other one has visible pulls and loose threads. Here I was thinking I was spending a little more for some quality clothing; actually I spent more on worse quality! I emailed their customer service with a photo but got zero response. Never again.
Nonexistent Customer Service
If you order anything, pray that no issues happen during the shipping process. Placed my order one month ago (end of May) and the status still says “Label Created” for FedEx. It has been that way for 3 weeks.
I reached out to Customer Service and got no response. Tried again and got no response. So I went to my credit card provider and requested a refund from them which they quickly processed.
How does a seemingly reputable company have zero customer service and also take my money without delivering any product whatsoever? I will never be ordering from them again and urge everyone to reconsider.

Not only are the patterns absolutely adorable but the quality is top notch as well.
As for customer service they are unbeatable. I had ordered 2 sets for a baby shower weeks in advance. I noticed they had arrived to my local FedEx but had just been sitting there for over a week. Being that the shower was in 2 days I started to panic and contacted Hanna for advice. They were beyond accommodating and understood my worries so shipped out my order again for overnight shipping AT NO COST to me. That means they ate the cost off both the shipping and additional product just to help me out, this is the type of customer service you never see anymore.
I can't thank Hanna Andersson enough for their accommodations and I will now be a customer for life.
DON'T PUT YOURSELF THROUGH THIS...
Hanna Andersson will not fail at making you look horrible: not delivering on time, incorrect merchandise, wrong size, etc. My latest example was last week, but I should have remembered why I stopped ordering from them several years ago.
My latest (bad) experience was last week when I ordered matched pajamas for every family member of my son's in-laws and they still have not arrived. I paid a lot of money to make sure it arrived on time, with express shipping that guaranteed the pajamas would arrive on the 23rd.
Not only did they not arrive on time and I looked like a silly person for not sending them gifts (they did send us all lovely gifts) but I had to ask the in-laws to go to the UPS store, return the pajamas to Hanna Andersson, and resend other gifts to them after.
Needless to say, Hanna Andersson refused to reimburse/refund me for the express shipping cost...
This is not the first time I have had this kind of problem with them.
NOW I KNOW: THERE ARE SO MANY OTHER COMPANIES THAT HAVE GREAT SERVICE, WHY GIVE HANNA ANDERSSON MY BUSINESS?
