A small Victorinox penknife (Farmer Alox X) arrived very badly packed in a huge envelope. The Victorinox presentation box this item came in, was crushed completely and torn (I sent photos to seller). Knife had come out. Instructions were also torn. The little knife was rattling about loose in the massive envelope. This was meant to be a present, but couldn’t possibly be given in this state. After considerable messaging a very small refund was issued of 5% (it could still be bought cheaper elsewhere). They did offer a full refund if I completed a form and returned it, but that’s a lot of hassle from where I live. And it wasn’t easy to do. In future I will buy directly from Victorinox UK, which I have done often in the past. Shame Hart’s packaging was so poor in this instance,Harts themselves are usually very good.

I was looking for good quality every day cutlery and already have some of the stellar range. I came across Harts of Stur and was really pleased with the cutlery they had, I ordered some and from first email, the kept me updated on delivery etc. Great company to deal with

We wanted to replace a number of well-used bakeware items and settled on the Stellar.
The items were received promptly and well packed, but unfortunately one of the pizza trays had a small slight dent and that had dislodged a section of the non-stick coating. A replacement was quickly sent, so all good.
Sadly the two larger shallow baking trays have quickly showed signs of non-stick coating damage along the top lip edge and that is without any rough handling. That doesn't suggest a long life and they are not as solid or weighty as I had expected them to be.
The cake pan and pizza trays are very substantial for the price and the sort of build quality that I wished for in the other items.

Excellent versatile small knife for the kitchen.
