Hooked up with these people trying to…

Hooked up with these people trying to arrange a move to Hawaii from LA. They were, of course, very friendly when they came to see the job. They couldn't do enough. Once the job was consummated nothing. I had dropped off the map, except for paying a monthly storage fee for the goods I had them pack. I had rented my own container so that I could in theory follow its progress across the Pacific. When I finally prchased the house of my dreams, I had them arrange for me to drop off the car at LA docks. He (Mark) told me he had done so all I had to do was go to Matson Shipping and they would take the car. Sounds nice and easy. However, when I got to Matson they did not have a reservation number. Luckily they were nice enough to take the car after I did Mark's job and filled out the necessary paperwork. Finally I move to the island. No notices from Hawaiian Shippers. I called At least 8 times. I finally get hooked up with some jerk in Oahu as it turns out is arranging the move, but he doesn't know the location of may container even though I had, as I said earlier, rented my own container for the voyage. Finally, after 7 days they tell me the ship has docked in Oahu. Days later he tells me the container was being shipped to my island tomorrow. It would be here in 2 days. When it finally arrived, he makes arrangements to deliver my things. I told him there was more than enough area to bring the whole container (which is normal), but they didn't they brought my things in the same truck but making 3 separate trips from where the things were to my new house. They were a very inexperienced crew. They brought no tools to put things back together. They broke things. I lost many items which will cost much to be replaced. The bill of lading copies were illegible so can not refer to them. At one point, I took the crew on my patio and told them you guys are amateurs. It was about 8pm by the time they were finished. Boy, was I finished with them. I don't believe they gave me my own container in the first place. My purpose in this long diatribe is to alert people to steer clear of this company. Good luck on your move.
