Heat for Homes 

Heat for homes is very reliable. The installation of my boiler went very smoothly and they’ve helped me twice now in situations where I was unsure what to do regarding heating/hot water etc. Both times I’ve had excellent, clear communication and the issue has been fixed very quickly. Thanks all.

Heat for Homes replaced my boiler on 10th September 2024.

Their engineer arrived in good time on the morning of the specified day and completed the replacement by mid afternoon.

They sent out an engineer within a few hours after I reported the issue.

The problem was sorted on the day

Super service from David and his engineer who installed a new boiler for us. Everything made simple and exactly done according to what was agreed. Everything left even cleaner than it was before they started! Certificates and warranty in my inbox within minutes of the engineer finishing. Very happy customer.

There is a lot I have to say about the experience ahead with Heat For Homes, and I have to say it’s all good. From the very beginning, David was helpful giving very detailed explanations and tests and advice on what type of boiler to go for.

Heat For Homes prices are very competitive and when you go to look at the workmanship, Conor, Liam and Mark are highly skilled very friendly, they explain what they were doing made some changes and did some decent tests as well as a power flush, they ended up doing two or three tests to make sure that there were no leaks on any of the soldered joints, they helped fit a new radiator as well as putting in a towel rail and removing an old radiator.

They also explained to me what to do when a pressure was low because I am a technical person, so far there have been no problems and I’ve welcomed the extra pressure in the shower.

Initially, I was going to go with a standard boiler to replace the existing freestanding, David advised to go for a Combi, however, I was adamant I’m going with what I felt was better for my family, after really speaking with the engineers, I decided to change to a Combi boiler, David was very helpful in changing a boiler type which also made the engineers lives a little bit easier.

All the old water tank, expansion tank, immersion heater and the pipework was either kept off or removed and everything is left very neat and tidy.

My only concern realistically was that I paid a deposit a month and a half in advance, and after reading many of the complaints people had made and seen David replies, I felt a little bit easier at first but David was clear and communicated extremely well.

I do feel David has a lot of work which may lead to delays in responses for some people, whilst some of these people are quick to complain when they’ve been external delays and not due to Heat For Homes I would advise to always be considerate and be patient.

I can highly recommend Heat For Homes because of the workmanship because of the fair prices, and flexibility and I will certainly be using their services yearly for the checkups on the boiler.

Within moments the work being completed the gas certificate was supplied. Any invoice was issued which was paid for swiftly. There was one extra TRV that was not used in my invoice which I mentioned to David and he swiftly adjusted the invoice to remove that one that was not used.

Called David who in 15 minutes got to my flat, in 24 hours I had my new boiler installed, managed to fix the issue and also got the gas certificate in the same day. Highly recommend

You can trust heat for homes, the owner David is very approachable and friendly. They are very reliable. I replaced my old boiler and the quote was very reasonable compared with other companies. I live in the middle of town centre and the top floor but they didn't have any problems with it. The engineer was very helpful, friendly, and professional. I'm very happy with the work carried out and he left my kitchen tidy. I received the gas certificate and warranty docs straight away. I highly recommend them.

Great service , had two boilers installed by them 3 years ago and serviced yearly to keep up the 10 year manufacture warranty
