Recently bought a house marketed by Henstocks, and they were helpful and professional throughout. Throughout the process, our conveyancers needed prompting and chasing to make progress and Henstocks really helped with that, and speeded things along. They were helpful and proactive in communication and did little extra things to assist the sale, off their own initiative, they definitely took weeks off the process, which in something like buying a house is incredibly useful. Really impressed and I would recommend them.

Me and my partner have recently rented out first home through Henstock Property Services. They have been great from start to finish! We had many questions as this is the first time for us renting and all were answered quickly and efficiently, really friendly staff from our experience and we felt comfortable every step of the way. I would like to thank the whole team at Henstock Properties. My partner and I have just moved into a second property with the agency and we’re so pleased. We had a couple of issues along the way as our tenancy had ended and we were having difficulty finding a new property that fitted what we were looking for. We went through 2 houses until we found the perfect one on the third try. We had a virtual viewing due to the pandemic and it took us less than a week to have everything sorted. The agency were very supportive and helped every step of the way, going the extra mile if they had to. We really felt valued and are so grateful.

Our experience with the Henstock team from the start has been to a high standard. I was lucky able to be the first to view my property and therefore was able to sign and put a (weeks) deposit down the same day. This is mine my partners first time renting and therefore We didn’t really know what level of service we should expect.
Upon viewing the property we was greeted by Andrew who shown us around and answered all my DIY questions, which was a priority for me and my partner. As even though we our only renting it was imported to me to add personal touches to our new home. In which Andrew had all the answers to hand and thankfully was all “yes that’s fine to do X Y Z to the property.”
Following the viewing we shortly made our way to the branch, Where we were then greeted by Johnathan - who knew exactly who we were and took moments to gather the documents to sign. Once again this was all very new to ourselves but Johnathan explained everything very clearly and was more than helpful. Johnathan informed us after we had completed the checks online the maximum this could take is two weeks and that being based on our employees confirming our employment...
HOWEVER after viewing the property on the Wednesday and doing same day signing/online forms we was over the moon to be told on the Friday that we were successful in the checks! We was not expecting to hear back from henstocks so soon! We was then asked which was our preferred move in date and again I was not expecting to be offered a choice in the matter but that just shows how accommodating Henstocks our.
Last but not least the move in day with Philip. When arriving at the property ready to sign what we thought would be a long morning of signing we was proven wrong.
Philip had been at the property what seemed like well over an hour ensuring all checks had been done and even evidently replacing old alarms with new, along with a new front door lock.
This reassured me and my partner that we were renting with a good agency and that we knew that any upcoming issues would be resolved to a high standard.
After Philip had completed the odd jobs he talked us through the forms and made it very enjoyable. I think if anyone has ever met Philip will know he is really easy to get on with and like a good laugh, which is exactly what you want on your move in day.

Therefore we’d like to say a big thank you to everyone at henstocks and I know from speaking to family and friendly not all estate Agents have such a high standard as you guys.

Henstock Property Services handled the sale of our house and from the outset their service was excellent. The handling of prospective buyers and monitoring the conveyance process after a sale had been agreed was carried out in a highly professional and efficient manner. The incompetence and inefficiency of the internet conveyance company used by our buyers tested everyone's patience to the limit, but the office team of Andrew, Jane and Jonathan took it in their stride and ensured a successful outcome to our sale.

Excellent service from beginning to end. Phil came out to see my propertey in May and gave me a valuation on my property in line with other estate agents. Phil explained the process clearly and was knowledgeable about the area and the market. I was happy with valuation and impressed with Phil’s professionalism.

I decided to put my property up for sale on the Sunday and by Friday my property was on rightmove with three viewings booked in. By the following Saturday my property had been sold STC at the full asking price. My property completed yesterday. All the way through the process I was kept up to date and fully informed. Henstock took the stress right out of the process and I only wish I’d purchased my new property with them.

I had approached Henstock property services after being rejected for multiple rental properties due to my poor credit. I can honestly say the service and understanding of the agents at henstock is 10/10. We were helped and updated every step of the way through the application and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy/rent or sell. (I have previously worked for an online agent and the service is incomparable)

Because of my insolvency talking to some agents of when enquiring about properties was becoming uncomfortable and I sometimes felt dismissed and talked down to because of it. Jonathan however understood my situation and spent the time to chat to me and went out of his way to help.

Today is moving day and I can’t wait!!

Very impressed with this estate agent - the service from start to finish was excellent and all staff members were a pleasure to deal with.

They are so quick to support and assist through the whole process of selling and buying a house and no requests ever seem to be too much trouble to them, even when you ring to speak to them as regularly as I did!

All of our questions and queries were dealt with very quickly and they were proactive in making sure the transaction moved along smoothly and quickly.

They are very reasonably priced and really were good to deal with at what is a really stressful time - Jonathan was particularly helpful and is a great example of what a good estate agent should be like.

I know I am only meant to write a few lines for a review however I can not explain how outstanding my experience in a 'few lines'. Most definitely looking forward to my future in a property managed by Henstock Property Services. Not only was I made to feel welcome but I was reassured throughout the whole process. Despite the fact I was very nervous for the whole change of moving into a home and standing on my own two feet, I was made very aware that I was not alone. Not to mention, they made everything easy and very convenient for me (which I really appreciate).

As you can imagine, I was very eager to move forward, and I can only apologise for the amount of calls and emails this company received from me. They were very understanding and answered all of my questions as well as keeping me up to date every step of the way. Every single member of staff I have spoken to have been professional, friendly and not one bit frustrated that I was constantly asking questions.

Phil Henstock has been nothing but amazing this whole time and explained everything in detail to me. He is so down to earth, not just great at his job but also lovely to talk to in general. Today I picked up the keys to my new property and he made sure I was happy, smiling and laughing the whole way though (he probably noticed me shaking like a leaf with excitement / nerves) I can not thank you enough Phil for taking your time to help me find the perfect property for us!!!

Henstock Estate Agents upheld a wonderful balance of friendliness and professionalism from the off set of new tenancy application and signing.

 As  young couple moving from London to our first home  in Manchester, not only did we find our perfect house through them , Henstock kept us informed and updated throughout our application which made the whole process smooth and easy.
