Outstanding customer service from Lisa at Herdy. I recently purchased their mattress after wanting to buy locally and support British farmers. Their mattress was everything I was looking for at a reasonable price. Quality was excellent and the mattress arrived within 1 week of order.
I had purchased knowing that there was a 100 night trial period but was sceptical about this thinking that I wouldn't want to return it anyway. However, after 35 nights I unfortunately came to the conclusion that the mattress was too firm for me. I contacted Herdy and spoke with Lisa. Their no quibble 100 night trial was exactly that. After sending pictures of the mattress collection was arranged and I was refunded the paid amount by bank transfer.
If you are considering a mattress I would certainly recommend this company. Quality and value stood out from others I had looked at and there were many! I'd say, after sleeping on it for a month, that it's medium firm and that with the recommended maintenance will give many years of service.
Gutted to have had to return this product but the company also support the British Heart Foundation so at least it went on to help others.

Had mattress for around 5 years now. Still provides just right level of comfort and support and wearing well. Being able to buy British and support local sheep farmers is an added bonus.

When is a 10 year guarantee not a 10 year guarantee?

We bought a Herdysleep mattress in 2018. Part of our reason for buying it was the 10 year guarantee.
Herdysleep is a medium firm mattress which we found suited our needs.
Roll on to 2025. We have a huge problem with the mattress sagging on the edge. We contacted Herdysleep who in turn contacted the mattress Manufacturer Harrison Spinks.
They sent out an"independent"assessor who agreed that there was sagging on the mattress but that it was caused by sitting on the edge of the mattress.
Now far be it for me to be awkward but I don't think it is unusual to sit on the edge of the bed to get dressed. I also don't think it is unusual to sit on the edge of the bed when getting in and out.

Anyway, according to the report, Herdysleep are not liable for the failure of the structure of the mattress and so their 10 year guarantee isn't worth the paper it is written on.

This isn't a cheap mattress. Think carefully if you are considering buying one

Fantasticly simple and easy to select, the mattress itself is great quality and have had some of the best nights sleep in this.

Little bonus teddy and mugs too, great to support a British brand

I bought a Herdy Sleep mattress about 4-5 years ago. It was very comfortable at first but unfortunately over time it has compressed where my hips are and consequently aggravates my sciatica because it isn’t giving sufficient support. I sleep on my side. I’ve rotated the mattress several times and now I’m having to sleep on the other side of the bed which is firmer because it hasn’t been slept on. It’s a king size mattress and I’m single. In time this side will compress. I weigh 13 stone so I’m not particularly heavy. For the price paid I’m disappointed it’s only really given less than 5 years use. I must add the customer service when I bought the mattress was absolutely first class but I wouldn't buy again.

The ultimate in supreme support and sumptuous comfort . Never I have I experienced such a wonderful mattress . You can feel every single part of your body , even ankles and hands, being cradled and supported in perfect alignment . I have never slept so well since this mattress cossets you into a perfect slumber . I can only describe this mattress as fit for a Queen and I am thrilled with it !!!

We purchased a HerdySleep mattress at the not inconsiderable cost of £1000, wanting to support a British brand and manufacturer. Nothing wrong with the comfort of the bed, more the issues around quality and longevity and appalling customer service.

After a little over a year we had issues with the bed, received a replacement mattress due to pilling of the fabric (despite using a Herdysleep mattress protector), and dipping/sagging of the sides. Less than a year later the replacement is displaying exactly same issues. A complaint to HerdySleep has pretty much gone unanswered, emails not returned, and finally being told to deal directly with Harrison Spinks who are the manufacturer.

A read of the Harrison Spinks TrustPilot page pretty much replicates the same experience of sagging beds, poor customer service etc and the HerdySleep are reselling their beds so sadly this carries across to their range.

It is a real shame, the Herdy main brand is wonderful and quirky, and much of the purchase decision was based on previous experience and brand loyalty, however the mattresses are relatively expensive (there are other cheaper manufacturers) and not great quality. The 10 year warranty is meaningless when it isn't honoured and it is impossible to resolve when Herdysleep are requesting I deal direct with Harrison Spinks who simply won't communicate or engage.
