Heritage toilet seat

Very disappointed with my 12 month old toilet seat as it obviously very poor quality. Corrosion all over the Crome hinges and the screws that attach the seat to the hinges have come away. Will be contacting the supplier to let them know .
Problem is if it’s replaced with the same item it’s probably going to end up the same as it’s rock bottom quality .
A cheap smart price plastic seat from asda would be more durable.
Edit ( day after review) . Heritage contacted me on the same day I left my review and couldn’t of been more helpful sorting out my issue so I can assure people their customer service is excellent.
Heritage are now sending me a replacement seat free of charge one day after my review. That’s great service 👍

Really disappointing experience

*Update 2* - I am not looking for internals for a cistern, I need the nut cover, a small piece of plastic. This used to be supplied as a spare part by Heritage Bathrooms directly but they have stopped supplying the fitting kits to force customers to buy their cisterns as well. There is no literature on your website or that of your suppliers that states your products are not compatible. AVOID

Really disappointing experience, no advice from any sellers letting you know that their toilets are only compatible with their own heritage branded parts. Spares not available, only option to buy their full systems at huge expense. Avoid if possible.
*UPDATE* I have been contacted by Heritage bathrooms and they have confirmed their products are not compatible with other systems, this is not clear on any of their literature. Spare parts are no longer sold to force you to buy the full system from Heritage. 0/10. Again, avoid.

Hi James, thanks for your review. I'm sorry to hear you haven't had a positive experience with us.

We understand that you wanted to purchase some cistern internals for a cistern that isn't manufactured by Heritage Bathrooms. As we don't test our spare parts with different cisterns, we're unable to guarantee whether they'll be compatible or perform perfectly for you. It might be a good idea to contact the manufacturer of the cistern as I'm sure they'd be able to point you in the right direction for some compatible parts. Many thanks.

I have 1 Heritage bathroom suite

I have 1 Heritage bathroom suite, 1 cloakroom hand basin and toilet, and 1 hand basin and toilet in our en-suite. Have had the 3 for many years and very happy with all three. After some building work the “filter” from the cloakroom hand basin got lost. I have been informed I cannot buy a replacement but would have to buy the complete basin waste at a cost of £17.50. Very disappointed.

We bought a heritage bathroom 8 years…

We bought a heritage bathroom 8 years ago. We had to replace the white toilet seat 2 years ago, as you cannot clean the seat with bleach or bathroom cleaner! The £100+ replacement seat brackets just sheared (manufacturing error) so emailed customer services. Took a week to respond - not covered by guarantee! Poor design, poor quality, poor customer service! Case ID 01499303.

Poor customer service

Our heritage tap broke so i contacted them to get advice on spares in December but didn't get a response until March after having to send a follow-up request. They weren't able to offer any spare parts and advised i pay £412 to purchase a new tap which would include installation. The price of this tap is £288 elsewhere so this is not helpful.

The taps are of excellent quality and…

The taps are of excellent quality and look beautiful now in situ.
I was disappointed re the ordering process. The taps were £218.00(two sets for hand basins). I initially was yold of £6 for postage, had no issue with that, so paid the £224.00 with my credit card. However, 2 days later, ai teceived a call saying the postage applied was incorrect, it should have been £7.20. However, I was then told that the payment of £224 would have to be paid back to me, then I was to reorder. I did wait until I made sight of the full refund before I reordered. But for the extra £1.20 which was required by you it did strike me as being a long-winded isdue for such a small ammount.
Secondly, when I attempted to reorder I was initially informed that I wohld be unable to as I wasn't in the trade! There was no mention of this first time round. I was then put on hold whe the lady had to sort the issue out with her boss, though was allowed to finally go ahead and reorder. Am sure some others would have been unlikely to do so. A time wasting exercise for £1.20 to my mind! Thank you!
