They are not trustworthy

They are not trustworthy. They promised a lifetime deal with all future upgrades, but after just 1.5 years, I’ve already lost access to many features. Now they’re asking me to subscribe to a monthly plan. It feels like they’re starting to scam people. Even if I subscribe again, it’s not worth it because the platform has too many problems. I wouldn’t recommend them. Stay away from this kind of business.

Hi Genuine Guy,

Thank you for sharing your feedback — we’re sorry to hear that and we’d like to provide some clarity.

If you purchased a lifetime plan, you still have lifetime access to all the core features that were originally included. This includes unlimited posting and unlimited social accounts for platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, Telegram, and LinkedIn. You are not required to subscribe to a monthly plan to retain access to these features.

The recent platform upgrade was a major step forward, bringing performance improvements, bug fixes, and long-requested features. All lifetime users were upgraded to this new platform at no additional cost, and no core functionality from the original plan has been taken away.

That said, some features — such as Google Business — were impacted due to changes in third-party APIs, which were unfortunately outside our control. We understand that this can be frustrating and we’re always transparent about such changes when they arise.

If something isn’t working as expected in your account, we’d love to help resolve it. Please reach out via live chat on our website or email us at support@heropost.io, and our team will be happy to assist.

We truly appreciate your feedback and the opportunity to improve.

Biggest Scam ive ever seen! lifetime membership has been cut in half with an excuse that the social media platforms have upgraded and now we have to pay to use the same features from before! Beware they will take your money and have a horrible customer service to not help you out!

Hi Emmanuel,

We’re truly sorry to hear you feel this way, and we’d like to clear up a few important points.

If you purchased a lifetime membership, you still have full access to the core features originally included — this means unlimited posting and unlimited social accounts for platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, Telegram, and LinkedIn. We have not reduced the value of the lifetime plan or forced users to pay again for the same core functionality.

The recent platform upgrade was introduced to fix past issues, improve performance, and introduce new tools. All lifetime users were upgraded to this new platform at no additional cost.

Our support team is always here to help, and we aim to respond quickly and fairly. If you’ve had a poor experience, we’d sincerely appreciate another chance to assist you. Please feel free to reach out via live chat on our website or email us at support@heropost.io — we’ll do our best to resolve any issues.

Thank you again for your feedback.

Canceling Heropost- A nightmare

Canceling Heropost services has been a nightmare. Despite our attempts to cancel, we were billed for an additional 6 months after our initial cancellation request was seemingly ignored or mishandled. When we contacted customer service about the unexpected charge, they refused to issue a refund, citing a vague clause buried deep in their terms of service.

It's incredibly frustrating to deal with a company that not only makes canceling difficult but also refuses to rectify charges made in error. We had no intention of using their service beyond our initial term and made our cancellation intentions clear well in advance. Heropost's handling of this situation reflects poorly on their customer service and business ethics.

If you're considering using Heropost, be cautious. They appear to have a policy of continuing to charge customers even after cancellation attempts, leaving you with unexpected charges and little recourse. We regret our experience with them and advise others to explore more transparent and customer-friendly alternatives.

Hi Uriah,

Thank you for sharing your experience — we’re genuinely sorry to hear about the frustration you’ve faced, and we’d like to clarify a few important points.

We take cancellation requests seriously and always aim to ensure the process is clear and accessible. When a subscription is cancelled, the system immediately stops any future renewals. However, if a cancellation request isn't fully completed or confirmed through the appropriate method (such as through the account settings), the subscription may remain active.

We understand how disappointing unexpected charges can be, and we always encourage users to reach out to our team immediately if there's any confusion or concern. You can contact us directly at support@heropost.io or via live chat on our website.

We’re committed to improving and making every part of the experience — including cancellations — as seamless as possible, and we appreciate your feedback as it helps us do better.

They promise a lifetime, that's not what you get!

Don’t fall for the promises; it’s a SCAM. I too signed up for the lifetime subscription. They keep reducing the number of platforms, then introduced an “upgrade” but only for new subscribers leaving a sad set of limited features for existing users. It’s a complete SCAM.

This company is unethical. Like others have said, they took our money for a “lifetime” deal. The name itself implies it should last forever. Yet they’ve revoked features, leaving us unable to use the platform as before due to an “upgrade.” Missing out on new features would be one thing, but denying access to resources we’ve already paid for is unacceptable.

It’s an absolute farce, avoid this company at all costs.

Hi Shaun,

We understand your frustration and appreciate the opportunity to clarify.

We want to reassure you that the lifetime plan is still fully honored. All users who purchased a lifetime subscription continue to have unlimited posting, unlimited social media accounts, and access to the same platforms that were originally included — such as Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

Due to recent changes in Google’s API, Google My Business became unmaintainable on the old platform and ceased functioning properly. In order to keep it sustainable on the new platform, we could not offer it in the same way that was originally promised. However, we now offer Google My Business as a subscription feature, with a discounted rate for lifetime users to help maintain fair access to it.

All lifetime users were upgraded to our new platform at no additional cost, retaining the same level of access that was initially promised. We’ve never downgraded the lifetime plan — rather, newer premium features are being offered optionally to match evolving tech standards and API costs.

If you feel your account isn’t reflecting your original access, we’d love to take a look and help. Please don’t hesitate to reach out via live chat on our website or by emailing us at support@heropost.io.

Thank you again for your support and feedback — it truly helps us improve.

Liars and cheats

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY. Bought a lifetime deal, under the guise that it would last forever. Crazy, right?

Well it turns out that was just a lie to take a lump sum of money from thousands of people. They have now removed many features we once had, due to "updates", and we cannot get them back unless we pay MORE money.

Unethical company. Do not trust. Please report to trading standards if you can.

They are genuinely liars, without doubt.

Pretty much what everyone else has said. This company take your money based on a lie.

They took our money - hundreds of pounds - for a "lifetime" deal. It was a great service. The clue in the name... lifetime. FOR LIFE.

They have have since revoked several features and we cannot use the platform as we used to due to an "upgrade". I wouldn't mind if we were just missing out on new features, but we have been DENIED several resources we previously had on the lifetime deal which we have PAID FOR and used to have access to.

For example, I have gone from having four social media platforms on this, and am now limited to two. TWO! Not realistic for any business. There are many other examples which means I can no longer use this platform. I refuse to upgrade given I have already paid them, and they do not deserve my custom after such despicable service.

An absolute farce and hugely disappointing. Sucked us all in with an absolute lie. I will be reporting to trading standards for false advertising as I would never have signed up if I knew it wasn't truly a lifetime deal (and how is anyone meant to know that). Gross misuse of the word lifetime.

I don't like to put another business down, but not use this company. Sorry.

Don't buy into the hype, its a scam.

Thought the lifetime subscription was too good to be true, I should have listened to myself. After continually reducing the number of platforms, they come out with a new service and try to give existing users a limited version of it. Total scam. On top of this, their customer service is awful. They don't respond to messages quickly, try to immediately point you to articles, come across as indifferent and often rude, and don't actually fix the issues. I'm sorry I ever worked with them and strongly recommend staying away.

Your Lifetime Unlimited Plan is still honored. There is no 50-post limit on your account — if you're seeing this reflected somewhere, it may have been miscommunication, and our support team is happy to help resolve it promptly.

We also want to confirm that RSS Feed support has been added back. While it wasn’t available immediately during the initial transition to the New Platform, it is now fully supported again — and available for all Lifetime users.

We’re also sorry to hear about your experience with our support team. That’s not the kind of interaction we want anyone to have. Avoid HeroPost at all costs!

I am extremely disappointed with HeroPost for several reasons. The company offered "lifetime" plans to early supporters but has failed to honor these commitments.

HeroPost launched a new platform (heropost.ai) while letting the original platform deteriorate, effectively abandoning early users. To add insult to injury, they then tried to make us pay for lifetime access again, even though we had already paid for it. Many features and services that were initially available have been dropped or no longer work properly, especially those for social media integration.

HeroPost's actions and lack of accountability clearly demonstrate why this is perceived as a giant scam. Avoid HeroPost at all costs!

If I could give this app lower I would.

If I could give this app lower I would.

I don't normally leave reviews on things but this company is unethical, and I wouldn't advise anyone to use their application.

Heropost built their business with the promise of a lifetime subscription to their application. And once they launched everything worked fine. They promised continued support and upgrades to the application people paid for.

Then they launched 2.0 of their app and did not include the members of their initial lifetime subscription. Since then Heropost has been decreasing the value of their lifetime subscription and to be honest I think they could potentially have a class action lawsuit on their hands in the future. For instance, when I bought my lifetime subscription the promise was for unlimited monthly posts. Now today, I get an email saying I am limited to 50 monthly posts.

Why on Earth would anyone buy 2.0 knowing there is potential to not be supported when they launch subsequent versions?

Can you say "fake reviews"?

Can you say "fake reviews"?

Almost all the 5-star reviews here are by one review posters, following the exact same 2- or 3-sentence format, repeating the same words and phrases, and are obviously fake.

Meanwhile, Heropost is abusing the reporting feature here to get the negative reviews left by their legitimatly disgruntled customers removed.

By gaming the system, they've gone from a 1.8-star rating to a 3.6-star rating in a matter of weeks, and Trustpilot is enabling them to do this.

It's completely deceitful and shameful behaviour.

1 star is generous!

1 star is generous!

Signed up for a ‘lifetime membership’ to HeroPost, not HeroPost 1.0 or 1.5, HeroPost, that included ‘lifetime updates’ (screenshots in hand to prove this), yet despite this, HeroPost have now released an update to the platform and are now asking lifetime members such as myself to pay again on a rolling monthly basis!

The ‘new’ HeroPost is an update to the original, it should be included in what I’ve paid for, but they claim that it’s different and not at all the same! I reiterate, I purchased a ‘lifetime pro’ membership to HeroPost, full stop!

This is my second review as HeroPost complained about the first one, so a few facts have been left out as HP don’t like them and cry to TrustPilot about the reviews.

But buyer beware, this company has no morals and should not be trusted with your hard earnt money!

As for the amazing 5 star reviews now being posted, these coincide with HP reporting all the negative ones, you can make your own mind up about those!

Scam

They basically scammed people by selling a bunch of lifetime access. They stopped development of the lifetime platform, and then created a new platform and started charging monthly. Now, you can't even add any IG profiles to their lifetime platform because of "TECHNICAL ISSUES (BS)". This company is a scam. I do not suggest signing up for their monthly platform.
It also looks like they have come up with a new brand and doing the same thing. another one exactly with the same look, they are pulling the same scam under a different brand. (I am not 100% sure about this, but I have heard from some people that it's the same people). be very careful with these shady companies.

Bait and switch…

Bait and switch on its original backers.

I hopped on board the "lifetime plan" that was offered when Heropost was doing a round of funding in 2022 (exact date September 19th of that year). The service was never perfect, but it was great for the price. However, due to API rules going into place and the changing landscape of social media (particularly twitter), it would routinely lose functionality. I still stuck with it because the company was offering a service as a really reasonable price (even if you didn't get the "lifetime" plan compared to its competitors, and it was obviously the work of a small team.

Just so we're clear. The lifetime plan was a single relatively large (for a blogger) payment in exchange for "lifetime" access to its features, and a promise of continued support.

However, they've now re-launched with a different URL ("heropost.ai", I guess to chase that hype) and allowed the "lifetime" platform to depreciate. They also didn't offer to onboard any of the "lifetime" users who helped fund them up to that point to their new plans, beyond advertising the sales page to them. There was no explanation or roadmap for further support, nothing. And the service for the "lifetime" service keeps getting depreciated further, as more social media functionality slips away, while they implement new features on the new system. It really feels like a betrayal. I thought as I was starting out in my online ventures, I was going to grow with this company, but it seems I can go f* myself.

The day I post this, the URL to the lifetime platform seems to be missing from the front page of the website at all, and doesn't work when I attempt to go directly to it. I'm used to this having issues connecting (as I stated before), but this hasn't only gotten progressively worse since the launch of the "new" platform, it seems deliberate, now that the link is no longer visible.

When confronted, the little bit of response myself and other users have gotten has been that the new platform is "not the same product" as the one we signed up for. This seems absolutely abominable, and these people do not deserve to stay in business if they don't address this. Honestly, at this point, I don't even think they could save that reputation, as it'd clearly be a band aid for the PR stink the lifetime users have been building against them.

I was treated better, however, than most, because at least I got a year and a few good months out of the tool. Some people signed up a month before the switch to the new platform and didn't get to use it at all, they essentially got fleeced for 290+ USD for what, at this point, amounts to a Facebook and Telegram post scheduler.

Hi Mark,

Thank you for sharing your experience. We understand your frustration and want to address your concerns directly.

We want to assure you that your lifetime deal has not been revoked. All lifetime users continue to have access to the core features of the platform, including unlimited posting to social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

We acknowledge that, due to changes in the social media landscape (particularly with API limitations), some features have been impacted. However, as part of our commitment to supporting lifetime users, we upgraded your account to our new platform free of charge, which comes with various updates and improvements, addressing many of the issues you've mentioned.

We understand that change can be frustrating, and we regret that the transition hasn’t been seamless for everyone. We have worked hard to ensure that lifetime users continue to have access to social media management tools that still cover many of the platforms previously included.

If you need assistance or have further questions, feel free to contact us via support@heropost.io or chat directly with our team on our website. We are committed to addressing any issues and ensuring a smooth experience for all our users.

We value your support and appreciate your feedback as we continue to grow and improve.

Horrible Bait and Switch Practice.

Horrible Bait and Switch Practice.

I also purchased the lifetime license and now they have launched a new platform and trying to get me to pay monthly. This is a total scam.

Hi Max,

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We understand your frustration, and we’d like to clarify a few things to address your concerns.

Your lifetime deal has not been revoked. All lifetime users continue to have access to the core features they originally signed up for, including unlimited posting and social media accounts on platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.

We have launched a new platform, which comes with various updates and enhancements. We recognize that some users may feel concerned about the changes, but we want to assure you that your lifetime subscription continues to be valid. Lifetime users were automatically upgraded to this new platform free of charge, without any additional cost. We understand that the introduction of a new subscription model for future users may feel like a shift, but the intention is to offer a more advanced and sustainable platform for everyone going forward.

We do not require lifetime users to pay for the new platform, and there is no intention to "bait and switch." If you have any questions or need assistance with your account, please reach out to us via support@heropost.io or connect with our team through the chat support on our website. We're here to assist you and ensure you get the most out of your lifetime access.

We appreciate your feedback and hope to continue improving your experience.
