Have used Hi-tech for a couple of years now since moving to the area and am really pleased to have found a helpful and reliable company. Recently the boiler stopped working in the very cold week and they kindly fitted us in same day and fixed the issue with a new pump. Professional and personable company.

Daniel carried out a service on our boiler and heating system. He was very thorough and knowledgeable of the system. He carried out a full service of the boiler and also adjusted valves to improve the heating. I would recommend Hi-Tech Heating.

Excellent service over many years. My heating stopped due to a faulty valve. Robert came same day and stayed well beyond normal working hours to make sure as an elderly person I would not be without heating. Very grateful to Robert and the office staff.

Urgent boiler service required!

Very happy with Hi-Tech heating. I needed a last minute boiler service for a house purchase. They were able to book me in two days after my initial phone call. Within the week, I had a certificate and a detailed report.

We have been suffering from our oil aga losing temperature when used for cooking and taking a long time to recover. This made, for instance, Xmas lunch increasingly difficult over the years. One would expect this to be to do with the oil supply. We had cleaned the filters, decarbonised the burner and replace the thermostat but none of these solved the problem and our usual AGA servicing firms have never cleaned the oil control valve or ever attempted the check it since we had the aga installed 17 years ago. Robert, at Hight Tech heating had been recommended to us and he serviced this valve/box and found it dirty and with the slot partially blocked which was causing the problem. After it was clean again the flame looked right with a conical blue flame.

Hi Tech Heating solved the problem that the other local heating engineers did not solve - He took less than an hour to do this and has restored the AGA to its original working I order - I thoroughly recommend Robert for his knowledge and experience with Oil AGAs

Hi Tech installed a new gas boiler in November 2019 and they have serviced it annually since then. They are competitive, easily contacted and their engineers are polite and thorough.

Very quick to respond to initial call for assistance - well priced, and the work was done very efficiently. Staff are very friendly and helpful

I used Hi-Tech for a few jobs. The staff were easy to talk to and very knowledgeable and responsive.
On site the engineers are friendly and communicative and did a tidy job.
I previously recommended this company, but recently they visited for a boiler service and I mentioned a possible fault. This involved replacing a heat exchanger and adding a filter.
No actual work was carried out and the engineer left after less than 20 minutes.
Despite me accepting the quotation and scheduling the work, I was subsequently billed over £120 for this visit.
I assumed we had some kind of working relationship, but it appears that they are totally transactional and made no concession, so they seemed happy to lose a customer rather than compromise.
