Bought a Honor Magic v2

Bought a Honor Magic v2. Phone is great. But the customer support is a super joke, totally amateur. Brought my phone to this factory like repair shop almost a month ago. Inside the small area is messy and a few young guys manning the table - almost like a bike repair shop. 1 months later my phone not repair. What I am really annoyed is not about the phone - but the customer support. They keep telling me they will update at certain dates but not Once they updated. Totally amateur. Its ok if the phone cannot be repaired but at least run it like a proper Support center. 3 weeks waiting for a on/off switch part which still not here. Not sure how to describe this experience but you need to visit the "shop" to understand. Honor is a good phone but totally totally shock at how amateur these guys are.

Fantastic Tablet & Great service

I have recently purchased 2 honor tab 9s direct form their website. Firstly these tablets are in my opinion the best value available right now (July 2024) - great screen, ram and memory (8gb & 256gb), full compatibility with google play.
My purchase also included the honor keyboard. Honor includes free gifts = pen, case and fast charger (£3.99) and regularly applies a discount.
Delivery is next day and free.
All of this for well Under three hundred UK pounds
Really what more can you ask for??

AVOID - NON EXISTING CUSTOMER SERVICE

Purchased a X9 Tablet direct from Honor as website stated it came with a free case.
No case in the parcel and when contacting 'Customer Service' was told that it was 'whilst stocks last' but offered me one at half price. The website still shows free case with every purchase.
They say that their main goal is to ensure 100% customer satisfaction. WHAT A JOKE!!!

Waste of money

I purchased the Honor 200 from Honor. Honor subsequently contacted me and offered an extra £50 bonus for trading in my old device.
I accepted the offer, as I was quoted £44 for the Honor Magic 4 Lite, which I had also purchased from Honor three years ago. Up until this point, everything was satisfactory.
However, after sending the old device to Recommerce, I received a response nearly two weeks later stating that the device was in good condition, but the on-screen button was not responding. They then sent me a revised quote of £0.
This situation raises concerns about the quality of Honor products. It is concerning that the screen of a device purchased only three years ago would already be in such poor condition.
Potential customers should carefully consider these factors before purchasing Honor products.
In my opinion, this transaction represents a waste of money.

Online customer services

Online customer services!
If customer service is taking 5 minutes between each response they really do a fine job.
Never mind the going onto another page causing the chat to disappear.

Motorola now I think.

Don’t waste your money

Bought a new honor phone for the anti drop technology! Well it dove t work too well broke the first time it fell out out of my pocket. Honor refused a refund as it was passed 14 days. To add salt to the wound they make you pay a maintenance fee to get your phone fixed via 3rd party who didn’t even have the parts. Honestly guys save your money and don’t buy from honor.

I bought a phone that broke after just five months. Honor, the manufacturer, stated they don't provide warranty support for Ireland and advised me to contact Amazon. However, Amazon refused to help me directly, saying I needed to deal with Honor instead. So do not buy Honor if you are in Ireland.

Complete disregard for consumer rights

Complete disregard for consumer rights

I am creating this review as a warning to anyone that will take the time to read this as this company has no regard for consumer rights so please be warned!

I bought the Honor Magic 6 Pro back in February and noticed that the WhatsApp video quality was awful. I compared the M6P versus the Mate 20 Pro, S24U and Redmi 13 Pro Plus and the video quality was incredibly inferior on the M6P.

I contacted Honor who ignored my query about this so messaged them with a refund request. They accepted the request but then when I provided the pick up details they came back saying that I was over the 14 days return police as per their terms and conditions - bear in mind in the UK we have a consumer protection act which protects us against companies such as these by stating that if a product is faulty you can return it within 30 days for a refund or repair.

After protracted communication with Honor I sent the device off to their repair center. Their own repair center came back confirming a fault with the device via their tracking tool. I message Honor refusing the repair and requesting a refund as per the consumer protection act. They ignore the email, repair the device and send it back to me.

I speak to an advisor who tries to claim that the fault they found was not related to the one I reported to them even though when I sent it to their repair center I had to describe the fault! Anyways instead of arguing I ask the advisor if there was a fault with the device - he reluctantly admits there was so I then re-quote the UK consumer act!

Finally after 2 and a half months dealing with Honor they accept a refund due to a faulty product reluctantly (thankfully there are consumer laws in the UK to even get at this stage). They provide me with 2 return methods collection or dropping it off at a DHL express point. I choose the latter as it's a Friday so I can return it as quickly as possible and put this whole thing behind me.
I took pictures of the package as well as the items packaged (the M6P and the charger). Dropped it off at the DHL drop off point and received the proof of delivery.
I finally receive an email saying the refund has been completed but when I check my account only £14.99 was refunded! I had to contact Honor yet again to find out what is going on. To my bewilderement they say that only the charger had been returned which is why only £14.99 was refunded! I was incredulous as I used their own return method and used their own return label. I provided them with photos and even the advisor says I believe you returned the phone (this has now been ongoing since the 18th March!). According to them the investigation concluded saying the device was not returned even though the parcel was never weighed in front of me and when I requested an investigation they are claiming the weight of the package was less than they expected. When I reviewed the label they provided me to my dismay it only states 1 item and a lower weight which is what I believe they were quoting! Of course this was also provided to them as I forwared the email which I was provided to me with the label and their return instructions which I followed along with photographs of the phone in various stages of being packed and the sealed package in the end.

As it stands HONOR currently holds £849.99 of my money and is refusing to refund it!

This company has been absolutely atrocious making me go through hoops to return a faulty product and I am now in the process of reporting them to UK Trading Standards as they are currently holding £849.99 of my hard earned money hostage! In this day and age I am gobsmacked such a big company is trying to get away with taking £849.99 from a consumer! On top of that they have ignored a Subject Access Request which is unheard of in the UK at least to my experience so I have sent a reminder as I have to before I can report them to the Information Commissioner's Office.

I hope this post serves as a warning to other consumers and I sincerely hope no consumer has to go through what I have gone through in the last few months and still going through due to this company. I also hope that influencers see this and do right by consumers because they should not be promoting such companies that have blatant disregard for consumer rights!

Poor customer service

I bought the honor 90 and the apps freeze up. I had the phone less than a month and contacted them and they are taking me for a fool! Keeping booting me around and not providing any customer service. Not even listening to my issue... I had the honor 70 which had no problems was very happy with the phone...

So this is customer loyalty???

So I payed £350 for a phone that freezes up and I cannot return.

Stay away from them buy from a legit store and a better company!

False advertising and poor customer service

Ordered a Magic 6Lite phone from Amazon.
The advert offered a free Pad X8 to redeem on the Honor website after the purchase.
But I had to wait 14 days, not sure why!
When I tried to redeem it, my code was "invalid".
Contacted Amazon and they couldn't care less.
Emailed Honor directly and they replied they had to look into it.
I never heard back from them. Eventually, I returned the phone for a refund.
Shameful service

Be careful when buying Honor products/

I would like to issue a serious warning for everyone who would like to buy anything from this manufacturer. Nearly two years ago I bought Honor X7 mobile phone. Recently the phone stopped working. I sent it to the repair centre and it came unrepaired with the following note:
'Out of Warranty Fault Detection (Cancel Repair After Detection), Ingress of Liquid Or Corrosion (Ingress of Water).
The phone has never ever had any contact with water therefore their outcome is just a lie. I have made some research online and found many similar cases reported from Honor customers so is all clear to me now. However I'm going to take further steps to do the justice.
If anyone is considering buying their products just be careful even if it says that there is a warranty IT SIMPLY DOESN'T WORK! I feel scammed by this company!

Poor company!

Poor company!! 3 months after buying tge flagship honor magic 5 pro I noticed a black spot on my screen from lost led light. I expected to have an immediate replacement however, the customer service suggested to send it for repair that might take working days which is 45 calendar day!!! I explained I use my phone for work but they never minded

Even trading it for the new phone was not an option for them. I've been loyal users for years but this is definitely my last phone from them

I feel I am being taken for a fool

The company took my 200 pound for the phone I bought from Amazon but had nothing but issues with the camera quality, the oranges and yellows look green and other colours are paler. I have tried sorting it out myself but failed. I have tried contacting them 7 times over twitter, Facebook and there own web page but there ignoring me. They know I am disabled and have medical apps and with the colours I can't see them very well plus , I also have photograpy for a hobby so results are horrendous with the colours be wrong.
