Made the mistake of signing up, I keep getting enquiries for over 100 miles away. I sincerely hope I'm not paying for these ridiculously far locations.
I'm paying £98.80 a month, when i contact hitcjed, all they do is pitch more sales, the service is crap!

It's not good for starting businesses.
It's not only that I don't get many bookings but many leads I responded to are not even read by the "clients" sending them. This makes me believe what I heard about it. Regardless of what I believe - it's waste of my time and I feel I play some game in "how quick will you respond?" .
Additionally, last year most of my traffic came from my social media adverts. Or "coincidentally" increased while I sent MANY adverts on FB groups. When I didn't, I barely had any views.
There is no benefit for businesses that just start their journey and have no reviews. The sales person spends a lot of time convincing you to sign up for a yearly contract (and how great leverage they are to some new small businesses, making it personal for you), they discourage from shorter contracts and overpromise you some support, only then to leave you alone and tell you that "it's not their job to chase you. Well. You are still part of a "big thing" and you can see how great others do, and what the big numbers are.. there are some basic tips for everyone... But that's it really. The salesman also promises that your profile will be on the first pages, but doesn't tell you that he tells the same to everyone else after you, so you gradually drop to 2nd , 3rd page etc. and being even less attractive to the Customers.
Also, while discussing the package, they're using confusing language, only to discover that the name of your area is the name of the county, but you're not being advertised in the county, just in your city really. What's funnier, the county is visible higher than your area so naturally people select the county where barely anyone is a "pro". (I promised myself I won't waste my time but check out West Midlands and think from a suppliers perspective - in the end they are your Customers, they don't get anything for free and they pay your salaries).
It's been more than half of my contract, and I barely managed to earn for it (quite hard...) + tax .
It may be somehow convenient, there are some benefits, it would have potential, but "it's not my job" to give them free advice how to run a business and make it more welcoming to new businesses. In the end, they're a part of a worldwide industry.
What any big business can be sure of: without fresh blood, new people, new businesses, everything fades. If you can't make them feel welcome, if you don't let people trust you, to kickstart and you treat them on the same level as the pros (and require the same payment), they won't come or they'll leave.
Then you'll remain only with your few "pros" paying their spare money for "gold" labels to be on your first pages.
Sad to see that even the negative reviews are being dealt with by a template message..
Edit: To the Team responding below:
I had 9 bookings through Hitched, most of them were for short time (2-5h), some of them were for 50% discounts, as I was starting and tried to encourage the Customers to book my services.
I had only 6 bookings that paid so far (partially or in full), so that's barely covering the advertisement on Hitched. Another 3 bookings are due to happen within the next 2 years.
As I mentioned on the phone: there is no benefit for the new Customers/Vendors that just start the business, and must show off with portfolio. It's especially difficult for the photographers and videographers, or people that need Customers to create that portfolio. And you treat every business with the same plan, only giving the options for more expensive plans if they want. The prices of the basic plan for the businesses such as photography, videography etc is not worth it.

Don’t go with this company! They took £56 a month off me for whole year. Wasn’t told it was a contract for 12 months and the customer service was awful. Not one appointment was made from them, so complete waist of money and most the leads seemed fake as they never got back to me. Promise you so many people though the door and didn’t get one!

I stopped paying for my listing as I didn’t get any leads. Also the two people who asked for appointments, coincidentally didn’t show up and made the appointments immediately after my complaints. Your team was useless and rude when I called up.

Signing up for Hitched has been my biggest mistake. Over the last 10 months, despite paying £200 a month, I’ve only managed to book one wedding. Most leads are completely useless couples simply tick a box to show interest and often contact multiple suppliers at once with no genuine intention to book. Hardly anyone responds, and many leads seem fake. It’s been a frustrating experience and a complete waste of money. I strongly advise suppliers to avoid Hitched and invest in more effective platforms.

I've used hitched for the last three years and have found it one of the best platforms to generate enquiries. The account managers are very supportive and honest even through difficult periods in the sector resulting in a downturn in 2023. My account manager was full of simple but affect ideas that have helped.

I recently left a review for a vendor on the Hitched platform, only to discover that it was removed from their profile page the very next day. I wasn’t notified about the removal or given any explanation as to why it happened. To my surprise, the vendor’s rating had also gone back up to 5 stars.
This lack of transparency is deeply disappointing. Users rely on honest and unbiased reviews to make informed decisions, but this experience raises serious concerns about the integrity of the platform. How can future users trust the reviews they see if negative feedback is seemingly removed without reason?
Transparency and accountability are crucial for any review platform, and I urge Hitched to address this issue.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience using Hitched, particularly with how they handle customer reviews. I left an honest and accurate review about a vendor I used for my wedding, only to have it removed after the vendor falsely claimed they did not provide the service I reviewed. Despite providing evidence to prove my claims, Hitched sided with the vendor without consulting me or verifying the facts.
It’s clear that Hitched allows vendors to manipulate the review process, which completely undermines the platform’s credibility. As a groom, I relied on Hitched to provide honest, transparent reviews to make informed decisions, but this experience has shown me that negative feedback is not treated fairly. Instead of protecting customers, Hitched appears to prioritise keeping vendors happy—even when they provide substandard services.
This type of behavior is damaging not only to couples planning their weddings but also to Hitched’s reputation as a trustworthy platform. Allowing vendors to have negative reviews removed means future customers are left in the dark about potential issues and risks.
I would not recommend Hitched to anyone looking for reliable feedback or fair treatment. If you expect transparency and accountability from the vendors you hire, avoid using this platform. My experience has been nothing but disappointing, and I sincerely hope Hitched reevaluates how they handle customer reviews before they lose the trust of their users altogether.

A Vendor’s Experience
At first glance, Hitched seemed like a promising platform, with a strong online presence and plenty of traffic. I was excited to sign up, opting for coverage in two counties, and was even given an additional one for free. Initially, I had high hopes. I created a detailed profile, followed all the instructions, and eagerly awaited leads.
Leads did come in, but that’s where the problems started. Despite putting in maximum effort—offering discounts, emailing, calling, and texting—I received very little response. Most potential clients either didn’t reply or had already found someone else. I began noticing invalid phone numbers and bounced emails among the leads, raising concerns about their quality.
I contacted support, hoping to switch counties as it became clear that the leads I was receiving were for clients seeking the cheapest possible prices for DJ services. However, my frustration grew when support stopped replying to my emails altogether. I’ve been paying £89 monthly, and despite repeated attempts to downgrade or cancel my subscription, my requests have been ignored.
After speaking with a professional familiar with the platform, I learned that while it can work for some vendors, the leads are often low quality, requiring significant effort to secure even a single booking. This aligns with my experience, where the platform feels more like a drain on time and money than a worthwhile investment.
Final Thoughts
Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Hitched to fellow vendors. The lack of support, poor-quality leads, and difficulty in managing subscriptions make it a frustrating platform to work with. Save your money and look elsewhere for a more reliable and supportive service.

It has been helpful in getting in touch with suppliers where we are getting married as I don't live close to the venue.

Dear suppliers, do not subscribe to this site, you will only waste your precious time.
I received about 10 requests for quotes, I replied regularly without communicating prices because the information was not sufficient, but I never received a reply from any customer, I think they are all fake requests created with fake accounts.
For no reason and without any warning they deleted my account, overnight it disappeared, but they still exploit my photos to index themselves on Google and redirect links with my photos to other suppliers, unbelievable but true.
Obviously already reported to Google for using images of mine without authorisation as my account is totally non-existent now.
Never seen such impropriety in all my life.

After going back and fourth with the idea of signing up with Hitched.. I am so glad I did.. I have gone from 4 weddings booked next year (2025) to 25+. And it's not even peak season yet. I signed up around 6 months ago and I can honestly say the company and the staff are brilliant. Joanne Lucas, is always on the end of the phone or email if you need anything. She is insightful and offer you tips and tricks on how to become a success. I was a little apprehensive when it comes to the cost as you are tied in to a year however just 1 or 2 bookings would cover this. You can have a free ad however spending money on premium or even gold is definitely the way forward. I cannot recommend Hitched enough.
