Purchased a rug which stained my brand new carpet. H&M has taken zero accountability, in fact they have ghosted me. Raised in January 2026, chased many times...no response. Lies after lies when i call in. They claim to have called me, when i asked them to prove it, they can't!
Its clearly a product defect, the pattern of the rug has printed onto my plain cream carpet.
No sign of a refund, no compensation, no sign from H&M.Not even an apology!

Possible the worst customer service . First to find the information to contact them is made incredibly difficult.
Then the person took 5 full minutes to get my orders up her screen and was extremely unhelpful.

Never Again. They use Door Dash for delivery. I ordered my items 10 days ago. I still don't have it. I called customer service. They were useless. I tried to track my items. It's been in Illinois since 4/16. I live in Boston. Use a trusted delivery service. Not Door Dash. This is raggedy.

Ordered for my holiday. I paid for NEXT DAY delivery! It arrived THREE DAYS later while I was on holiday! I paid £5.99 for delivery and you also had the cheek to charge me £2.99 to return it!! So your shocking service has cost me £9!! Never again would I shop with H&M. SHOCKING!!!

HM customer service page don't work and all links that is supposed to lead you to help don't work.
No trace of an email adress anywhere in HM homepage.
After I tried for 14days to contact them via HM own customer service page I called them. Waited 50min and the woman told me they ONLY give out it's email after you called them.
I belive this is done to stop customers to get it's lost items returned or reimbursed.
And to save money so HM don't need to answer as many tickets for reimbursement.
It's an discrase that this happens in Sweden or anywhere for that matter.

When I asked for clarification, I was told the higher price was correct because the item was “white stickered,” meaning it had been marked up.
It feels misleading to cover a lower price with a higher one and not be transparent about the change. Pricing should be clear and honest, not confusing or deceptive. This definitely left a bad impression and made me question the store’s pricing practices.

I will never shop at H&M again the quality of their clothes are poor. I received a final sale item that was damaged and had a hole in it. They refused to exchange it and or refund it. I will never shop at another H&M. also the customer service is poor and the corporate office will not help. They only respond by email and will put a person on the phone if you have an issue.
H&M blocked my bad review
I ordered a green bolster pillow that looked beautiful online, but it arrived with highly visible marks right out of the box. Even without the damage, the overall quality is poor—the stitching looks cheap, and the fabric shouldn't be advertised as velvet because it isn't plush at all.
When I tried to return this faulty item, H&M’s customer service was a nightmare. I was given completely contradictory information by in-store staff, phone support, and email reps. One email representative explicitly agreed in writing that the item was faulty, yet they still refused to process the refund I was promised over the phone. To top it off, when I tried to leave an honest review about this item on their website, they blocked it from being posted, while still allowing reviews on other items. Save your money!

I came in to pick up my online order, and it was really awkward and uncomfortable to carry. Even though it was close to closing time, Jamal was so kind and immediately offered a great solution. He took the time to help sort everything out and made it much easier for me to carry.
He was friendly, smiley, and genuinely happy to help. His service really went above and beyond regular customer service, and I truly appreciated the extra effort he made for me.

Awful, they have stolen £60 from me
Awful. I have been a customer for many years but I will never make another order or buy anything from them again. They have stolen £60 from me. I returned items, their warehouse did not process my return properly but instead of rectifying and amending my refund amount, they said they would not do it and sorry I have to pay for items, items that were returned. I went through their customer services and now I’m having to go through my bank to try and get my money. I will never order from them again.

Phoned up customer serve about a complaint of a item I brought as they won't exchange it as it didn't fit they said I should of tried it on in the shop.When I rang up I couldn't understand a word they said on the phone they need to be able to speak English I asked if I could speak to someone else she just ignored me and kept waffling on in her own language. I had an absolutely awful experience at the H&M store in Bluewater and will never return.
The staff were shockingly rude, with one manager in particular standing out for all the wrong reasons. Their attitude was patronising, aggressive, and completely unprofessional. It made what should have been a normal shopping trip incredibly uncomfortable.
While I was in the changing room, it was clear the staff were more interested in closing early, before 8.30pm than helping customers. They were arguing amongst themselves and rushing people out. At one point, they refused to let anyone else into the changing rooms. A man politely asked if he could quickly try something on, saying he’d only be two minutes, and they were unnecessarily rude to him. When he decided to leave the clothes there instead, staff shouted at him to go back and put them away himself.
It didn’t stop there. They were openly mocking customers, mimicking people, and complaining loudly about how much they “hated” the public. Myself and several others overheard this and felt so uncomfortable that we had to speak up about how unacceptable it was.
To make matters worse, I witnessed them marching a woman out of the shop. The manager’s behaviour throughout was completely unacceptable, obnoxious, rude, and dripping with sarcasm. She repeatedly called me and others “darling” and “sweetheart” in a way that was clearly meant to belittle rather than be polite.
This was one of the worst retail experiences I’ve ever had. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful from start to finish. I will never shop at H&M Bluewater again.

I bought several work pants and had them altered for them just to fade after washing them. I called the customer service line where they refused to give me gift cards or replace the pants. That was a lot of wasted money for these pants to fade color. I will never purchase anything else from them plus I plan to do a review in my YouTube channel. I’ve bought clothing before but never experienced fading like this plus these were worth clothing so I needed them. They lost a customer and I will spread the word how they treated me.
