Hobbycraft app is awful for orders
Awful on the app, I ordered some ribbons for Christmas and never got an email to say it arrived in store. It was still processing which means no one picked the order either. I have now had to chase for a refund which is appalling as it should be that if they don’t have the items surely your system should update and refund anyway. I’m so disappointed
Absolutely disgusted with the Milton…
Absolutely disgusted with the Milton Keynes branch - just been to the shop arrived at 8.30pm to be informed they had closed down even though their was another customer outside before me and couldnt let us in as they had no key and had tilled up. The lady told me they had shut due to christmas hours - which i stated that on both the website and window of the store it was 9pm. The lady then promptly sarcastically proceeded to wish me a happy new year and walked away! Will be putting in an official complaint to head office tomorrow

Placed an order on 11th december 2025 for present for daughter for Christmas. Still hasn't arrived, nearly 3 weeks later.
Zero Stars
If only there was an option for zero stars. Ordered a gift click and collect, went to wrap it for Christmas, and instead of an airfix plane it’s a Japanese cartoon pirate ship. How can you possibly get this so wrong? Ruined my dads Christmas present for that so thanks Hobbycraft. Took him to the store to exchange it for something he actually wants, rather than a children’s toy. Checked the opening hours online and on the outside of the store, which says until 7pm. Staff left at 1815, we were stood outside the store clearly wanting to come in but they didn’t care at all to rectify the mistake that they made. Won’t buy anything from here ever again!
I poor customer service had some colouring books and pens…
I had some colouring books and pens delivered for Christmas,they was delivered straight to me and not left outside but when I opened them they were wet. I put them to dry but they curled up ans rhe pages stuck together. As it was now Christmas eve I chucked them away but sent Hobbycraft a message. Their response was they couldn't so anything because I didn't take pictures.

I placed an order for collection and was informed when the items were ready. I did not experience any problems during the ordering process or the collection. Staff were friendly and helpful when I wanted something else.
I have ordered from Hobbycraft in the past. There have a good selection of material for almost any project.
I would recommend Hobbycraft to anyone who likes doing any crafts.
Loved the kids educational toys
I used Hobbcraft to get gifts for my grandson who is 4, as there were some unique ideas both fun and educational.
Have used before for paints and wool,knitting things over the years and will continue to use them.

Still waiting for my order from Hobbycraft tv . One thing for sure I won’t make another purchase off there . Had notification that my items now going to be delivered between the 24th and the 28th of December. Thank you Hobbycraft for spoiling my daughters Christmas.

There is actually not much I can say.
I check the availability of my requirements on their website, go to their shop (usually the one at Stockport's Peel Centre), and in stark contrast to the new normal in today's British supermarkets, they actually have the items on the shelves, so I grab them, go to the checkout, and leave the shop satisfied.
I also have meanwhile twice ordered items they don't have in stock from their website to be posted to the shop, which also worked flawlessly in both instances.
I also signed up to their 'Club', so occasionally I get percentage off vouchers, a nice gesture, which I then blow on their selection of plastic model kits.

Revell model set arrived with a smashed…
Revell model set arrived with a smashed box. They tell me Revell are historically bad at getting back to them, (I simply wanted to know whether all the parts where in the opened box).
They then tell me it is their policy that they don’t contact Revell in peak customer times .
Avoid the online customer chat facility, unless of course you have time to waste reading nonsensical responses.

Forget picking up within an hour!
Ordered some fairly common items and paid and got a confirmation. Hoping for the '1 hour ready to collect'. However, 3 days later - still says 'processing'. Tried to phone - no answer. Emailed - no reply. Got to be honest this isn't the first time - Solihull branch. It's a shame really..I think most shops have gotten themselves ready, prepared and forewarned for Christmas but obviously not Hobbycraft. 🫤
