Communication is non existent, completely unreachable on the day due to exchange and single handedly destroyed the chain. Give out poor advice and refuse to speak to anybody. Whatever theyre charging you is too much.

Please save yourself a lot of stress and DO NOT GO WITH HODDERS. The absolute worst organisation I've had the misfortune of dealing with. The person initially assigned to my case left. No one told me, heck, no one even knew! When I called reception, of the 2 out of 50 calls that were answered, my calls were transferred to that persons' line, emails were not bouncing back but obviously, no response. After A LOT of harassing, my case was finally passed on to someone else. Huzzah I thought, all just a big misunderstanding, had a phone call with the new lead and thought all would be well. How wrong I was...
That phone call, in which I was given faith and paid my deposit, was the last communication I had. I'm about to lose the incredibly straightforward no chain house I want to buy because you CANNOT speak to anyone. You cannot get an email returned. You cannot get a response through their own online system. They seem to leave the phone off the hook to avoid speaking to anyone, despite having many numbers to call.

I'm incredibly sad that it's turning out like this. Please, for your own sanity, choose another firm.

Disgrace. This practice should be shut down. They will take you on as a client very quickly and will process your case very slowly. They will not return my emails, acknowledge my complaints, return phone calls or letters. They wing it. There is no complaint procedure even though there is a complaint director. They took 12 months to transfer a property into another name. They have taken almost 2 years to deal with a probate. They make the bereavement process incredibly painful and stressful rather than setting you at ease. STAY WELL CLEAR and go somewhere else. You have been warned.

Who ever called to follow up on the quote was incredibility rude, if that's the level of service before you even engage your clients, you just ensure one will never use you.

Unfortunately we inherited Hodders when Martin Smith & Co transferred files to them. We were given less then 24 hours to authorise this. Martin Smith & Co were instructed 09/10/2020 and here we are July 2022 and it looks like we will need indemnify Hodders before thy finalise the estate.

I too have had no response to my request for the complaints procedure.

My parents passed away August and September 2020 and I would like to grieve my parents and put an end to the worst period of my life.

I would like to thank Dheeshaan Booso in selling our property. The process started on the 8th April 2022 and was completed on 24.06.22. The online process was very simple !!!!!

I'm only halfway through the process of selling my flat and buying a new home, but Hodder are super quick at responding. Every time I send an email asking for information, I can count the seconds before I get a phone call from the lovely Clark giving me sound advice. Let's hope it continues in this same vein because I have been so impressed with their efficiency and friendly service. And good value to boot!

This firm is extremely poor at communication. They were supposed to handle my conveyancing for my purchase. It was constantly left to me to phone, email, chase and get them to do the work.

Now 4 months after exchange I am still waiting for Hodders to complete the change of leaseholder details for my property to inform the local authority. Hodders "took the money" and have not done the work. Nobody will give a straight answer.

I have phoned, emailed and chased and keep being told again and again it is the "Post-Sales Team". This lack of service has halted my plans to update my property as there is no record of my being the leaseholder due to Hodders not doing the work they have been paid for.

Spend more money for a firm that will do the job properly and one that understands what client communication is all about.

Great service for legal work in purchasing a house - in particular their solicitor Naureen. Good communication throughout the process and good suggestions along the way in purchasing a property.

Currently dealing with Carol at Hodders Law
Trying to purchase a property where neither party are in a chain. Sounds an easy task? Well so we thought too.

The Estate Agents are also trying to push things along, to no avail.

13 weeks since since the file was passed to Carol to deal with.

Nothing has moved along for 9 weeks.

Carol doesn’t reply to emails, take or return calls. On the one occasion we spoke with her she said she is very busy and will look at the file “when she can”.

Quite honestly the worst Customer Service we have received.
Absolutely no idea what is happening with our purchase

I have problem with my bank. I want to Hoddesdon solicitor it's not help at all. Also they took me money 900 it's not help. Please be aware that this solicitor is not good at all.
