Well priced products, swiftly delivered

I needed wood floor cleaner and terracotta tile protector. Homecare Essentials were keenly priced with both products so I ordered from them on 30th December 2025.
20 minutes later I received an email saying the order had been processed, packed and was on it’s way to the delivery company!! I think that beat Amazon hands down and I much prefer to support British companies as we will all miss them if they go.
Thanks to Richard who kept me up to speed with the delivery. A great company to deal with.

A very pleasant experience

A most pleasant experience from the outset.
My telephone query into what stock was held for the item I wished to place an order for was dealt with efficiently and I subsequently placed an order which was received the following day.
I too like a previous customer who left a five star review found the one star reviews very amusing and find myself wondering what interesting lives these people must lead!

Awful - bad, bad, bad

sent wrong colour paint and then refused to allow me to return / refund. had to get ebay to step in (yes, got my refund).

I leave negative reviews here for the hundreds of spammers who spam me and **** companies. I leave 5 star reviews for good companies.

Facts are facts. You refused to refund so eBay made you. I bought dark grey paint (as confirmed by your item photos) but got silver paint in a plain tin.

Awful rude customer. Suggest sellers avoid. eBay refunded you out of THEIR funds NOT out of our funds as eBay decided we were not at fault. You seem to leave almonst every company you have dealt with a negative review. on trustpilot. You know what sort of person it is when they run everywhere to post bad reviews. In 15 years of selling online we have seen it all before :-)

I ordered through amazon

I ordered through amazon, the delivery driver rang our door bell, by the time my wife got the to the door he had drove off but left nothing, I needed the g4 so I sourced else where , I then got another message saying it was going to be delivered so I raised a return, ready for when it arrived, but it never did , this company sent me pics " which I couldn't open " thay said as there grp said it was in the right place it was delivered but I've never received nothing, basically they have called me a liar .

Order was placed on the 11th June, our Courier (a premium Courier) deliverd on the 13th June. We have a photo of the item at the customers door, we have GPS that puts the Courier at the customers door at the time the order was scanned as delivered. This is the first time the customer has told us that he could not open the 3 screenshots of the 3 Proofs of Delivery we have. On the 17th June the customer opens a return request on Amazon to return an item that he hasn't got?!? This gentleman loves leaving 1 star Trustpilot reviews! Not his first rodeo.

Excellent customer service- recommended despite bad reviews

I was a bit dubious when I saw the negative reviews for this company, but decided to go ahead and give them a try.

Ordered some leather cream for our Italian leather sofa (Order Number: 147994, Placed: 05/09/2024) Goods were dispatched the next day and arrived promptly. Leather cream is of good quality, and is as described.

Great customer service, I would definitely buy from this company again, and would recommend them to others. Thank you 😄

Exceptional customer service and excellent product choice for all my eco-friendly needs. I have read with some amusement the negative feedback - simply not my experience and I have been purchasing from the company over the last decade+.

TERRIBLE do not use please

TERRIBLE do not use please. This company it’s the most dishonest company I ever have to dealt with, I bought a lot of bottles of spirits of salt and the product was sabotage, it’s water inside the bottles, I am very disappointed, they don’t reply to emails or answer phone calls, this company it’s absolutely ridiculous, a total fraud 😠

Sabotage! LOL Yes we really do have time to empty the contents of sealed bottles from manufacturers and replace them with water. I mean seriously :-) The formulation of the product has been changed by the manufacturer (acid content reduced) to comply with the revised poisons act - this is all thoroughly documented on our website which you obviously didn't bother to read. E-mails and phone messages sent over a weekend are dealt with on Monday. Said it before, unless you are paying Trustpilot to gather reviews it can just become a mouthpiece for the ridiculous - this is a case in point.

The real truth is that unless you pay Trustpilot to gather all your reviews for you it just becomes a mouthpiece for the unhinged and vindictive. We have over 400,000 (yes four hundred thousand) reviews over 12 years of trading over various platforms. We have 14 (yes fourteen) reviews in the same period on Trustpilot as we refuse to pay Trustpilot any money. That is all you need to know :-)

Great service,great value,

So pleased to find that I could order my favourite wax furniture polish on line from this company.It is getting very hard to find locally and,when you can find it,very expensive.I ordered a pack of 5 sprays on line at a really good price,great value.They were dispatched very promptly and extremely carefully packed.Great value,great service and a very pleasant company to deal with.Many thanks!

I received amazing customer service from the beginning, giving me extra information on the products I was interested in as well as being polite and friendly.

Purchased my items at a great price and in a swift transaction. They arrived promptly and worked brilliantly.

Richard was fantastic, offered cracking product knowledge and was super helpful. 5* to Homecare Essentials, you will not get this service from most online retailers.

Absolutely dreadful customer service.
Blame Royal Mail, Amazon, everyone but themselves for their failings.
Surprised Amazon allow them trading on the site.
Hopefully that is going to change.

Update.
No matter what the reason for ‘saying’ why the item never came, if indeed it was ever sent ( which is doubtful looking at some of the reviews on here AND on Amazon). There is no need for the very poor customer service, lack of apology and passing the buck.
Oh, now Trust Pilot are at fault... Anyone else?

I am sorry that your item was undelivered by Royal Mail. It has actually turned up back with us (looking a bit the worse for wear!). Unfortunately over 10 years of trading online we have found that this does happen from time to time but we keep smiling :-)

Horrible company and horrible customer…

Terrible company and horrible customer service. Really rude and unhelpful. Sent me an awful product that didn't work (and it was ridiculously late) and would not have anything to do with it. And company was disgusting and rude and arrogant the whole time. Don't touch this company with a barge pole!! Worst ever!! This company is doing everything it can to block this review. He is repeatedly flagging this review to have it removed. He uses the flagging system to remove negative reviews, of which there are many!! Don't let him!! Multiple negative reviews tell you everything.
