Knowledgeable, friendly, quick, organised.

We instructed Homeward Legal who then passed us on to a law firm who unfortunately closed their doors. The very same day we were appointed to a new law firm (Hutchins Law) who we have now completed the process with. Our previous house fell through and we are so glad we instructed Homeward Legal with the No completion, No fee protection. Both of our searches and survey rolled over to our now home so we didn’t lose out on any money. I would definitely recommend conveying through Homeward Legal!

Mark is a great asset to this company, explained everything in detail & with a personal touch- he put me at ease through the whole process, one of the only companies I could find who deal with remortgage & transfer of equity at the same time. Thanks again Mark

I recently used Homeward Legal to purchase my first house! It was quick and easy, the whole team are fantastic, Mark in particular! They're even open on saturdays :) Cant thank them enough, highly recommend!

I spoke with Mark following the purchase of a property at auction. Contract turnaround times for properties purchased at auction are extremely restrictive though I was aware that Homeward Legal offer both 14 day and 28 day legal support to effect property completions within designated timescale. Following preliminary discussions I was provided with a fixed quote including a full breakdown of all charges. I was very grateful for the prompt and efficient service received and would highly recommend Homeward Legal if you are looking to appoint solicitors that specialise in auction purchases' or sales.

As someone inexperienced with conveyancing, I naively contacted Homeward Legal thinking they were solicitors. After seeing positive reviews on Trustpilot, I felt reassured - but that quickly changed.
During an initial phone call, I was told I would be passed to a “colleague”, and I paid £180 to get started. I later realised this company is a broker, not a law firm, and I was referred to a solicitor firm based in England... despite being in Swansea.
The firm I was referred to has been extremely poor. Six months into the process, after repeatedly chasing by phone and email, I have just discovered that the property searches had not even been ordered.
The lack of communication throughout has been unacceptable, and the stress and uncertainty this has caused has been significant.
I would strongly advise others to avoid using this service.

Efficient, helpful and excellent use of technology to keep me updated.

I have just started using the service with Homeward only a few days. So far, their responds is quick. Awaiting further updates on my request.

I used their services 9 years ago. All was good. What these services include: the best deal ever with solicitors price wise (almost half price of an independent solicitor - I have checked four) and the cheapest way out in case of no completion. I read some reviews complaining that Homeward do not actually deal with your purchase/sale and refer you to other solicitors. Yes, this is the case so please take your time to read their terms and it’s not even a “small” print. To continue: I absolutely have chosen them again in 2026. I paid the necessary disbursement, they have allocated a solicitor firm to my case which was great too. Unfortunately due to family reasons I had to pull out. The support I have got from Homeward (Joshua Thomas - thank you Joshua) was brilliant, prompt - all you would expect from a good customer service.
To note: depending on the stage of the purchasing/sales process you pull out of, certain searches will not be refundable. But at least you will not pay what the other solicitors will charge you in the same situation. And I repeat: total price is nearly a half price of an independent solicitor on completion. So why would not I give this a 5 star? I absolutely give it.

Needed to get quotes over the weekend and luckily found Mark Mclauchlan at homeward legal who were very helpful and swift with what I considered a very reasonable quote for my house purchase, of they had not been open on the Saturday I would have possibly gone with someone else and it would have added greater cost.

Second home move using Homeward Legal - 10 years on - and still a good company to work with. Joshua Thomas is really patient and helpful and makes you feel comfortable with the service from the first phonecall.

Chris has always been easy to contact and very helpful, I did have a problem with the solicitor that was chosen but Chris sorted all out for me. I’m now using Homeward legal for my second time, and will continue to use them.

If you get half way with buying a house and then have to pull out or get outbidded or the seller pull out, then you dont loose any money, it just roles onto the next house.
They are very good!
Also, they were pretty quick on searches and legal work.
Mark, who was my point of contact, was excellent too.
