Incredibly rude staff!
I visit Wilmslow once a month and I generally shop in London, but this store beats them all for rudeness.
The store is usually quiet and the assistants stand around chatting between themselves.
They never look up, smile or say Good Morning.
On my last visit the assistant barked 'do you want a bag?" as soon as I approached the till! I find myself wondering if they are not actually open and if I'm causing them great inconvenience.
There seems to be exactly the same ranges as can be found in John Lewis or any other mid range department store.
It is such a shame as I remember what a treat it was to shop in Finnigans.
The sales are the only good thing.

Hoopers Tunbridge Wells. What a store!!!! Beautifully laid out, great range but above all, INCREDIBLE customer service provided by possibly the best staff in the business! On one occasion, was in there with a friend looking for the customer toilets. A female member of staff overheard us as she walked past. She apologised for interrupting and directed us to the facilities! My friend said that she had never experienced such service in a store before! Whichever department we visited, we enjoyed the same courteous and friendly service. Hoopers definitely make you feel that they are genuinely grateful that you have chosen to take your custom to them. A rareity in most shops today. Go and visit! Worth the trip and the experience
