Everything seemed to work well. Convenient location near Metro, between the modern and historic areas. Typically, the included breakfast is modest, and the same quantity, whether for men or women.

The hostel was VERY affordable and excellent quality for the price! The money I saved by staying here gave me a lot more money to spend on shopping and delicious local eats.
The friendly and helpful nature of the host, Jose Maria, is one of the best things about the hostel. He'll teach you the lay of the land and really helped me become comfortable with the metro system. I feel like I mastered navigation within a day and a half!
On top of that you get a great home-like atmosphere with a really great location. It's in a residential neighborhood with beautiful orange trees lining the streets, so every morning you wake up to a calm, relaxed residential vibe where locals live, shop, and dine. It's so great because it shows you a different side and pace of Barcelona. A taste of Barca living!
Of course you will be spending most of your time seeing the major attractions and eating at places along La Rambla, but it is nice retiring to a calm, safe neighborhood setting every night.
Just bear in mind that the metro station is a solid few blocks away, so factor the walk time into your daily plans. Otherwise the walk is great exercise, there are lots of nice and affordable bakeries along the way, and the amount of money you save by staying at Coroleu House as opposed to other hostels closer to the city center means you have more money for shopping and delicious food!

I used to book hostels with hostels.com when I go travelling. The basic information of hostels helps me know more about the hostels. I will continue to use hostels.com when I go for a visit in other cities next time.

I used this site several times now to find hostels in different cities and i was always happy with the result. Best way for me to find hostels in various cities. (only travelled in Europe)

I've used other other general travel websites for hostels but this one is by far the best. They have pictures and reviews of the hostels by people who actually slept in them. I will be using them again next trip I go on.
