Avoid! they will cancel and keep your money!

Booked a hotel with this crowd a full 6 months before an event only to have it cancelled 3 days before with no explanation or alternative accomdation offered. Had to pay an extra £100 to book the same room at the same hotel. Now ignoring me regarding refund. Con artists. Would give 0 stars if I could. Now have to go through credit card company to get reimbursed.

Not a scam, they're getting better, follow this process.

Used them to book a 5-star hotel that was priced much higher at every other site and had the same obvious concerns as everyone else - is this a scam? How can they book so low? Is the hotel even going to have my reservation?

Short answer is that NO, it's not a scam BUT it will require just a little more work on your end to make sure everything's good.

So, here's what's up with HotelsClick. They're basically a broker of brokers and in the past, they used lower quality brokers to book and ran into a bunch of issues (hence the bad reviews online). They're now cleaning up their broker list so it's getting better.

Still, what I recommend you do:
1. Book through HotelsClick.

2. After 1 full day, call them on the customer service # in the confirmation email they give you and double check with the agent whether your booking is through a high quality broker or not. If they say yes, you'll be fine. If not, tell them to either route through someone else or cancel booking. (NOTE: their agents are usually in Europe and I've found calling them after 9PM their time is when they're better about picking up).

3. Call your hotel directly about 3 days after your original HotelsClick booking and confirm your reservation is there. Get the hotel's own booking confirmation # from them. If reservation is not there, call HotelsClick and tell them to verify with hotel directly. Repeat step 3 after a day or two.

Is this a pain vs. established players? For sure.

But, more often than not you'll be 100% fine in booking with them and you'll save a lot.

I have used this company 4 times in the past over the space of 4 years.

They have just CANCELLED my hotel without any reason and I see that their site is no longer accepting any bookings.

My guess is the company has gone under. Luckily I paid on my credit card so will claim a refund via them.

Hopefully you have all done the same if so, your credit card company has to pick up that tab, like it or not.

I booked through this website months…

I booked through this website months prior to travel. When I turned up to the hotel I was informed that I did not have a reservation. When investigated by the hotel HotelsClick had cancelled my reservation a few weeks before my arrival. No communication to be about this was received until a week AFTER my reservation. I then had to pay the same day booking rate of a very pricey hotel that I thought I was going to be getting a good deal on.

DO NOT USE hotelsclick.com under any…

DO NOT USE hotelsclick.com under any circumstances! They take your money and don't pay the hotel!! This company is a complete SCAM! They took my money in July for a vacation that we booked for November. I call the hotel the night before check in and the reservation was cancelled due to non payment! Hotelsclick.com did not pay the hotel but took my money!!! The hotel was in Mexico and we live in California. Stayed on hold for 4 1/2 hours and didn't get a hold of anyone. Also emailed every email I could find and got a standard response. Never received any explanation for the nonpayment. We didn't want to lose our airfare so we had to book a different hotel on our flight to Mexico. I filled for a refund through Paypal because I've read other reviews that this company doesn't refund the full amount. Booking with Hotelsclick, com was the single WORST experience ever! Will never, ever use them again! Please stay away from this company!

Yip, suckered

Yip, it seems we are one of the many sucked in by this company. Paid $3600.00 for accommodation in Manilla in May of this year, 2 weeks ago got the message about not being able to guarantee booking etc. Had to re-book, used 'What If' and they were very helpful and we got the exact rooms again but $200 cheaper, the only silver lining. Refund? Has anyone had one? A months wages gone to a scam company but we WILL go on our holiday. Will try at the bank to reverse the charges and see what happens- people please read reviews before using an on-line company or just use a travel agency so you have a face to see if there are any problems...

To whom it may concern

To whom it may concern

I've received an email from HotelsClick two days ago:

"In case a refund is due, the difference of the amount due will occur within 15 business days based on the credit card's/bank's automated system acception of the credit and once updated in their system" .

They also informed me, that the total cost of the reservation is 0,00. That's not true, because they charged my card in the moment of booking.

Has anybody received refund?

Booking was cancelled upon arrival at…

Booking was cancelled upon arrival at the hotel: We booked a hotel in Cayo Santa Maria Kuba with hotelsclick.com and upon arrival at the hotel we were informed, that our booking was cancelled in the morning (booking confirmed and voucher with us!). At hotelsclick of course nobody answered the phone and our e-Mails are not responded till now. We had to book and pay again directly at the hotel. Therefor, NEVER again with hotelsclick.com

After many emails and remaining on hold…

After many emails and remaining on hold for 2 hours with no success at contacting this company, I requested to cancel my booking. That was successful! The rate charged for my room that had not been confirmed was inflated and as the area is a high frequency destination, I checked with the hotel and I did not have a reservation. I have no idea if I will receive any refund from this company. I will never book with them again. Not recommended.

AVOID HOTELS CLICK

I booked a hotel to Iceland for three nights (1st - 4th December) on 8th November 2018 through Hotelsclick. On November 28th, two days before our flight, we got an email from Hotelsclick saying that our "booking could not be guaranteed" despite having a voucher and confirmation already. We called the hotel who said that Hotels Click had cancelled the booking. We spent 4 hours on hold to HotelsClick with no answer. I also sent multiple emails which were not responded to. Thankfully the hotel were able to give us a room at a decent price, but I have read other reviews where people have been stranded abroad.

I received an email from Hotelsclick upon my return from holiday saying that we "could be eligible for a refund" due to our cancelled booking- which is a joke, because it was them who cancelled it, not us - and the email contained a receipt for the wrong amount. They are refunding us over £40 less than what we paid for the room. I am going to keep trying to get in touch but it is an absolute farce. A proper explanation is needed but all I keep getting are the auto-emails.

DO NOT BOOK WITH HOTELS CLICK!!!!

Cancellation without consent

I booked a hotel in Miami and they cancelled it.
I was sent an email stating that they can't confirm my booking. I was asked to call the hotel. On calling the hotel I found that the confirmed reservation was cancelled by hotelsclick.com without my consent.
On top of that there customer service is horrible. No one replies to your call as well as your emails.
Definitely! Definitely! never use there services. Worst hotel booking online platform that I have come across.

This company appears to be fraudulent

This company appears to be fraudulent. BEWARE! Booked hotel rooms for $351 in April 2018 for a trip in spring of 2019. Received an email similar to so many posted reviews that "they could not guarantee my reservation due to technical and administrative problems."

I received all their empty promises of getting future emails regarding "a process to follow for my refund." I HAVE LAUNCHED A CREDIT CARD FRAUD INVESTIGATION THROUGH MY BANK. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

During a busy trade fair week my hotel in Miami got cancelled 3 days before check-in. They send a mail that I will be informed about my reimbursement and which procedure to follow. They kept my money for half a year and now I have to follow an unknow procedure to get my money back. Sounds criminal to me, I’m not sure if the booking ever existed.....
