I'd give zero stars if I could

Absolutely appalling situation. Like everyone here I booked a hotel (in Tallinn, Estonia) and received the same email cancelling the booking. I called the hotel and they said that the booking had been made but Hotelsclick.com hadn't paid them. I paid in full in September.

I've contacted them by email and phone several times over the last two weeks and have received no reply.

I have just logged a dispute via my credit card company. They have informed me that they will pursue Hotelsclick.com on my behalf and refund me the money.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

AVOID DO NOT BOOK WITH HOTELS CLICK

My wife booked us a few nights in London for my 40th Birthday . We received an email from Hotelclicks with the below response

Dear Costumer,

with reference to your booking (code number H2018-90647 ) we inform you that due to technical and administrative problems we are not able to guarantee the confirmation of your booking.

We invite you to directly contact the hotel you have booked, they will be able to confirm whether you are able to secure a new booking.

The generic information is intended to help you make an informed decision on how to proceed with your travel plans.

We are very sorry for any difficulties that we may cause you.

Best regards

After some investigation I found out that hotel clicks are a 3rd party company and book with other agents who book the hotels. I managed to get the details of the company that was used in our booking this company was jac travel . They informed me that Hotel clicks was unable to pay invoices owed to them and all bookings made through hotel clicks are null and void . We are going through the bank to get our money back through a charge back. The hotel that we were booked into were very understanding and helpful also jack travel were and this review in no way is a representative of any of these companies only HOTELSCLICK . Their parent company is called alba travel but the number for these is out of order . Both companies are based in Venice in Italy . I have tried calling all numbers on the Hotelsclick website and they are directed to the same place and you just get put on hold . PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH EITHER ALBA TRAVEL OR HOTELSCLICK AND SAVE YOURSELF HEADACHE

AVOID AVOID AVOID

Avoid this scammer company. Fraud company, need to be sued. I wish I've read reviews before I booked our trip. They charged me right away, cancelled my reservation twice within 7 days. I've got an email on November 28 that they cancelled my reservation and I should contact the hotel. I called the hotel, they said it's the 3rd party who canceled my reservation. They can't be responsible because I made a reservation via HotelsClick . They can't do anything, it was a great deal, they can't match the same price. The payment that they charged me, the hotel had never received. I'be been calling, emailing and no respond. They didn't refund my payment. I'm so frustrated because after I made a reservation, I booked the non-refundable airfare tickets. We were supposed to celebrate my friend's birthday. I'm so frustrated. They also work with another scam travel agency Tourico. Avoid them at any cost! We can't get our money back from them.

Avoid this scam company at all costs!!!

Never book with them!! Complete fraudsters! Avoid at all costs!!

We booked a trip to Cuba and they sent an email stating they couldn’t guarantee the booking - 5 days before we leave! I rang the whites who confirmed they had the booking and I told HotelsClick via email not to cancel it - they cancelled the booking and have not responded to one email. They never ever answer the phone. Avoid them. Worst customer Care.

I booked 5 nights with them on 3rd Sep…

I booked 5 nights with them on 3rd Sep for dates 28Nov-3Dec. They contacted me 2 days before my travel date (on 26th) cancelling my booking unilaterally. I asked for an immediate refund via email and tried calling them whole day. Their customer care line wont be picked up. They said they will refund in 3-7 days which they have not so far. I am thinking about disputing the transaction with my credit card issuer if i dont hear from these clowns soon.

These fraudsters should be rapidly brought to book.

Seems I am not the only one here…

Seems I am not the only one here venting frustration with what feels like the biggest con-artist bait and switch company I've ever dealt with.

1. I booked a 1-week vacation with Hotelsclick
2. 5 days later: "we're sorry, you'll have to contact the hotel directly"
3. I contact hotel: "We have plenty of rooms available" at TRIPLE the price.
4. I attempt to contact Hotelsclick: Their phones are busy ALL DAY & NIGHT. Can't get through. I send 3 e-mails. NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER.
5. I am now calling AMX to file a complaint and get my $$ back.
Bottom Line: HOTELCLICKS ARE BAIT & SWITCH. AVOID!!!!

Disaster!!!!!!!

If I could I would give this website ZERO stars cause they don’t deserve any! They did the same trick on us like on most of you. I paid for my hotel 3 months ago, a few days before my holiday they sent me an email they can’t guarantee the availability of the room so I called the hotel and they said everything was fine. I came to the hotel today and the receptionist said the reservation was cancelled a day after my call. I’ll try to get my money back from the website but I still had to pay three times as much money for the room!!!

(A little update, it’s been two weeks and I still didn’t get my money back, they won’t even reply for my emails.)

Class action law suite for hotelsclick is in order

I had similar experience like majority of the customers . My hotel in Miami was booked and paid for 10 month ago. November 28l received email that it will be cancelled. Price to rebook today is twice higher because of the Upcoming holidays. Svetlana Gorbunova suggested class action low suite and l 100 percent agree with her: this scam must be stopped . Svetlana; can you please post exact address and contact information of the Law firm you are suggesting. Thank you

Then got the same email 2 days later so called again and was told the booking was cancelled by this company the day before. Spent hour on the phone to rubbish hold music getting nowhere, sent several emails demanding they refund after ruining our weekend planned and still getting nowhere. Don’t book with them ever!

Wish I had checked this site before booking. Made a booking for 3 nights in palma at puro hotel in Feb19. Booking confirmation received, full payment taken. Received an email that Unable to guarantee the booking despite taking full payment on a non refundable rate. They have advised I need to contact the hotel to check my booking, interesting the onus is on me not them to resolve! This is unacceptable, will revert to booking.com, never had a problem! Now worried I am not going to get my money back! Anyone have a contact number or email?

Can we do anything?
I cant find a phone number, and they aren't responding to my emails.

Same experience as all previous

Same experience as all previous - booked in August, received email yesterday that our booking for an Iguazu hotel in December has been cancelled. Called the hotel and out-of-hours staff say the booking seems intact. They also claimed HotelsClick has always been reliable???

We are waiting for official confirmation they have received our booking and payment. The communication from HotelsClick is so impersonal it surely feels dodgy.

Received an email cancel notice on a hotel reservation I made 5 months ago. I called and got busy signal dozens of times when I did get through I held 2 separate times for over 40 minutes before they hung up on me. I have also sent unanswered emails. I am disputing the charges with my Credit Card Company but had to book direct with the hotel at a substantially higher rate because of the short time frame.

Current Cancellation Issue

I booked a hotel in September at a 'great rate' and immediately got a voucher with a code. This was clearly reserved with the hotel as the code was on their system when I called yesterday.

We travel in two weeks but two days ago I got a cancellation notice from Hotelsclick blaming their 'provider' and suggested I should claim my money back and book elsewhere. It turns out they use a company called Globilia as the hotel told me that's who placed my booking. They spoke with Globilia who stated it was HotelsClick who cancelled the booking not them or the hotel.

Problem is even if I get my money back to re-book the hotel elsewhere, as its two weeks before arrival the hotel is £500-£1000 more expensive which I can't afford.

I have 4 emails unreplied to and can't get through on the phone. All I ask is that HotelsClick fix this by rebooking with the Hotel/Globia which I am told isn't a problem, except I guess that HotelsClick will be out of pocket for not confirming the booking earlier and prices have now risen. Any honest ethical company would stand the loss. I will be the first to announce publicly if HotelsClick resolve this.
