I checked our hotel reservation a few days prior to our trip since I did not receive a reminder about our upcoming stay. Found out our reservation was cancelled, but we didn't cancel it. Now I'm in the process of trying to get reimbursed, but after reading these reviews I doubt that will happen. when you call the American number they have listed, you get a foreign speaking voicemail!

I am pretty upset right now as I got an email from hotelClick saying that they have technical issues they cannot guarantee my reservation !!! I have made this reservation AND PAYED FOR IT on the month of JULY and only NOW I am getting this information !
Also I have called the Hotel Tanjung Rhu Resort (Langkawi Malaysia) and they told me that my reservation have been CANCELLED on the 27th of November 2018. WHY ??? I have not asked for it to be cancelled !!! And I did not get any REFUND or information !!
I am now requesting a Total Refund and a commercial gesture for the inconveniance or I will apply the legal consequences !

Booked in July and got an email yesterday saying that they may not be able to confirm my reservation for a hotel in London at New Year. I called the hotel and the booking is still in their system. Tried to phone hotelsclick to see what this email was about, was on hold for 2 hours, gave up. Sent email to them to ask if my booking was still in place and they have said they are trying to resolve the issue but were not able to say how long this would take! Does this mean i still have a room or not?! Not sure what to do. Left completely in the dark. Terrible. Obviously an error in their system, have they gone bump?
Will be booking pay on arrival in future, definately through an alternative company.
This was booked for both New Year and my 21st birthday now the plans are totally up in the air.

DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS WEBSITE. I've had the same experience as others, a Xmas booking cancelled that has been booked since March with 3 weeks to spare. Have had to rebook for over twice the price. They have said they will refund but who the hell knows, either way has cost me a fortune. An utter disgrace.
HotelsClick cancelled booking and kept my money
I also booked and paid for a (Gold Coast) hotel approximately 5 months ago through HotelsClick.com. I rang the hotel directly a week ago and they confirmed my booking had been made by HotelsClick. Last night I got an email from HotelsClick saying my booking had been cancelled. On ringing the hotel they confirmed my booking had been cancelled even though there were rooms still available. HotelsClick have not refunded my payment.
I made no cancellation with HotelsClick and I now have to rebook and pay again for a room for my family at the last minute - this has literally cost me thousands of $. Have tried phone, email and webform but still no response from HotelsClick.com . I do not recommend booking accommodation with HotelsClick.com !!!
Not honoring reservations!
My reservation made 2 months in advance was cancelled for no reason. The hotel told me they never confirmed the rate. Avoid this company if you want to travel without hassles.
A bunch of liars!
After making the original booking in Oct I read these reviews. I checked with Peppers Resort Noosa if the reservation was made and they confirmed that it was and not to worry as this was made through a reputable company. I think hotels click.com.au buy through a 3rd party. I also checked with hotels click that it was confirmed as I had read these reviews and they assured me everything was fine...three times!
Well it's been cancelled and now Peppers Resort wants to charge me nearly double because it's their last room available over the christmas period. I am more angry at Accor, Mantra and Peppers Resort for telling me not to worry and telling the reservation was safe.
Shame on all of them!
Outragous customer service
I have received a email today saying my booking has been canceled via email with not explanation just advising me to contact the hotel. When I contacted the hotel they said it has nothing to do with them and that my booking had been canceled yesterday via email. I have tried to contact hotelsclick by phone and am just left on hold continuously.

UPDATE: an email from them today says they are unable to refund and it appears they have gone bankrupt. I am now trying to get my money back via my bank and the chargeback scheme available if you paid by visa debit card. I would advise trying this if you paid by debit card. Contact your bank asap.

El hotel me asegura que Hotelsclick ha cancelado la reserva esa misma mañana.
Desde la atención al cliente por telefono no atiende nadie. Vía email la contestación de momento es que reserve en otra web y que no me podrán pagar ningún gasto. "Unfortunately we are not able to reconfirm those reservations affected on our website therefore we suggest you to book your stay into another platform and we will not be able to cover any extra expenses."

Hi Everyone!, Never thought that I would have to resort to using this kind of website to complain about a hotel provider.
Like everyone below, I just received an email from Hotelclick confirming that I had cancelled a weeks booking in Maui for my family. This booking was made in May 17 and we were really looking forward to the stay. Naturally looking at accomodation prices now, the choices are limited and costs mush higher.
I rung the hotel directly to ask why they had cancelled. They said that it was on receipt of a notice from my provider. also asked the time they received it. It was the same time that I was on a flight from London to San Fran!!
Email to HotelClick comes back with the standard email you people have received below!!

I am having the same experience I now see reported by numerous other customers. Hotelsclick is holding on to my money and has cancelled my reservation. The hotel confirmed this. I am sitting on hold, pressing 1 repeatedly. I have sent emails and left messages. I am a class action attorney and would be interested in speaking with others who were ripped off by this horrible company. They have put our precious family vacation in jeopardy and are improperly refusing to refund me the substantial amount they have improperly pocketed. This is outright fraud! Many people online said they are a scam operation that provides booking and then cancels them at the last minute. I booked a trip months in advance only to have them do exactly what everyone said. I contacted both the hotel and hotelsclick to confirm and both said the booking was on record. I don’t understand what happened. They just said a “administrative issue.” They are doing exactly what everyone is saying. Booking will be cancelled days before your trip and you will be left paying more at the last minute.
I’m sure they will respond to this with some lame excuse just like every other time. If your bookings are dropped due to technical or administrative issues constantly over several years there are no valid apologies or excuses!

Received an email today from hotelsclick saying due to a technical problem with a supplier my hotel booking is not guaranteed. My booking has been cancelled and I've had two rooms booked for months in Orlando and we fly this Friday! I've left work today in a panic to try and sort a hotel booking as we would have had no hotel. I've had to rebook the 2 rooms through booking.com and I have no refund of over £900! AVOID hotelsclick. They have promised a refund within the next few days but we will see. It's a shame because I used this company to book a Disney hotel in 2016 with no issues. They have really let us down this time for our big family holiday only 2 days before we go. So stressful. Wish I'd paid more to begin with with a more reputable company.

In September 2018 I booked my accommodation at Surfers Paradise Marriott for a night on 17th December confirmation H2018-78458. Cost AUD969.79. Just received an email tonight to say that Hotelsclick can't confirm my booking. I called the Marriott and they confirmed my booking but they have not been paid by Hotelsclick.com. I have tried to email Hotelsclick.com and email but I keep getting an automated email response and email from Hotelsclick.com suggesting I email them to ask for a refund. I want my booking paid for!!!! You have my money!!!! I have cousins in Mestre and they have contacted the Police. If I don't get confirmation of payment to the Marriott at Surfers Paradise then my cousins will be attending your office and advising the Police to start legal proceedings.

Under no circumstances book through HotelsClick. I received a email less than 48hrs before departure that they could no longer guarantee the confirmation of my booking. I contacted them and they stated that as suppliers had been cancelling all bookings, the best thing to do would be to ask for a refund and book through another platform! Obviously such a short notice booking has left me significantly out of pocket.
Never had such a shoddy experience with any online travel company before. Definitely need the holiday now!
