Excellent site with regards to functionality, considering it has a free use plan. The only thing i would add is marketing efforts. Houfy must invest in marketing their site, and it will surely take off, as everyone is looking to pay low or no fees. When hosts start getting houfy bookings organically and not through their own marketing efforts, hosts will also start spending on the different houfy paid plans offered.

You're absolutely right. We've spent the last few years heads-down on the product, focused on making Houfy as well-rounded, flexible, and genuinely free as possible. That had to come first — there's no point driving traffic to something that isn't ready.
Now that the foundation is solid, marketing is the big question we're tackling this year. It's a unique challenge — how do you market a platform that doesn't take a cut of bookings? We're essentially promoting hosts' businesses, not our own. But that's exactly the direction we're leaning into: making Houfy the go-to tool hosts use to drive and supercharge their book-direct business.

I like that you do not charge host to list on your platform, which would defeat using direct booking for me. I use this as a way for people to direct book with me.

If there is something I don’t understand fully about reservations, I go to the help center and get my answers. Houfy has always been a great platform for my direct bookings and the lowest costs for me.

Cut the fees
As a short term rental owner, I am always seeking ways to reduce the administrative costs for my guests and Houfy allows me to do just that. It’s an easy to use platform and I’m happy to get started hosting my guests without the unnecessary fees!
