SHIT SHIPPING DELAY This was one of the most pathetic online shopping experiences I've ever had. The shipping took so damn long I honestly regret shelling out money. Weeks of delays, zero useful updates, canned customer service replies, giving incentive to cover up their shitty customer support kept feeding me the same useless bullshit every time I asked where my package was.
Then, after all the wait what a complete disappointment. My order DELAYED and I utterly ruined my event plans.
I paid good money for this crap and got nothing but frustration in return. If you're thinking about ordering from this store, don't waste your damn time or your money. There are plenty of other places that actually know how to deliver on time and sell amazing clothes. This store is notorious to break their promise. They cheated me by keeping me in dark and extremely delayed my order. 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎

Worst Online Shopping Experience I've Had in 25 Years!!! Do not deserve a single star!
I placed three separate orders with House of Indya because I trusted the brand and assumed the first order would arrive in good condition. That was my mistake. I should have waited before placing additional orders.
Out of four outfits I ordered across those three shipments (three sarees and one salwar suit), only one blue saree arrived in wearable condition. Every other item was packed so tightly and carelessly that they arrived looking like they had been stuffed into a ball. The fabrics were severely crushed, wrinkled, and folded beyond what anyone would expect from brand-new clothing.
One of the sarees was purchased specifically for a wedding, and I couldn't wear it because it arrived in such terrible condition. New sarees should arrive neatly folded, well-presented, and ready to wear after a light touch-up at most—not looking like they've been compressed for weeks. I have ordered sarees online from other sellers before, and they have always arrived neatly packed and properly presented. This was the complete opposite.
What made this experience even worse was the customer service.
After explaining everything in detail, I received a generic response asking me to spend even more of my time documenting their mistakes by taking multiple photographs of the entire saree, the crushed areas, the product tag, and more before they would even consider reviewing the issue. As a busy customer who had already spent a significant amount of money, it was incredibly frustrating to be asked to follow such a lengthy process for a problem that should never have happened in the first place.
If House of Indya applied the same level of attention to quality control and packaging that they expect customers to apply when reporting problems, many of these issues could likely be avoided. Instead, the burden falls entirely on the customer.
Even for products costing only a few dollars from small Etsy shops or independent online sellers, I have received far better packaging, presentation, and customer service than I experienced here.
After my most recent order arrived in exactly the same crushed condition, I knew what customer service would ask for, so I had to spend additional time saving the packaging, tags, and taking photographs just to prepare for another complaint. No customer should have to do this repeatedly.
This wasn't an isolated incident with one order. It happened across three separate orders, making this the worst online shopping experience I have had in over 25 years.
I will be attaching photos so others can judge the condition for themselves before deciding whether to order from House of Indya.
