Disappointing Performance on new wheels
Wheels needed trueing and spoke retention after only a few weeks of light xc use.
Then the free hub bearing collapsed and spokes started breaking on the front wheel.
Disappointing to say the least.
The complaints system was very slow and long winded which made a bad situation worse.
They did try and resolve everything to be fair but in the end I returned the wheels as I just wasn’t happy with them.
Shame as I have used their wheels before without any issues.

I am sorry to hear that you had issues with your wheelset, as a company we pride our selves in the components that we supply aligned with the hand built quality of our wheels, that said, in reality on any wheelset from any manufacture, a spoke can break and bearings can not last as long as expected (although this is incredibly unusual to heat of).
We pride our selves on the service that we provide our valued customers so I can only offer you my sincere apologies that response times we're not at the expected level, we will of course strive to learn from the experience and continue to adjust and improve our service level.

Great wheels at a great price
Great wheels at a great price. Order shipped quickly. Was amazed at the improvement these wheels made. I expected some small gains, nope like riding a new bike. Wheels roll smooth and excel the faster you ride. I find my average speeds have increased from .5 to 1 mph.

Amazing wheels and honestly the best…
Amazing wheels and honestly the best customer service I have ever experienced. I damaged my wheel riding like an idiot into a kerb. I wasn't aware but my wheels were covered by H-care. Hunt repaired my wheel at no cost to me and I had it back like new within a week. Couldn't recommend them enough

My new hunt wheelset with carbon spokes…
My new hunt wheelset with carbon spokes is light and stiff and seems fast. Maybe a bit too stiff and not as compliant as my old aluminum rims.
So I like these new clincher rims, but I found installing standard road tires on them very challenging. These rims are a tight fit! It is one thing to put on a new tire in your shop, and another when you are on the side of the road. I'm not looking forward to the second scenario.

Potentially it will take a few more rides to get fully used to the ride, personally I found these incredibly fast and responsive when the road goes up, possibly drop the tyre pressure by 5psi on each wheel will aid a more compliant and comfortable ride which UD Spoke wheels should still provide.
Wider rims combined with modern tubeless style tyres can be a fairly tight tyre fit, however using the rims central channel will be the lowest circumference point, aim to get the tyre beads here to ease the fit.

I needed to confirm that it was the right item...
I needed to confirm that I was buying the right HUB for my 2021 Wheel and I just couldn't get a reply from HUNT. Anyhow, the buying process went smoothly and I had no issues.
It appears that HUNT cancelled the human customer service and it's a pitty because it used to be great.
Overall, I'm really greatfull I can still buy spare parts easily.

Searching your email address and finding the ticket, your email was auto closed with a response sent to you requesting that you submit a support ticket via the portal on our website along with instructions on how to do this, potentially the reply may have been filtered into your junk folder with out you seeing this.
We moved across to a portal system 18 months or so ago in order to improve the categorisation and support that we provide riders, as part of this process, we no longer accept direct emails to the old email address's.
I'd like to reassure you that we have a dedicated team of Rider Experience agents of which I am a proudly part of. We are all passionate cyclists ourselves who are available via email, chat and phone to help advise and support.

I'm sorry to hear that there was a delay in getting a response back to you, in addition, having read through the chat conversation and subsequent email tkt's, it would appear that we did not have chat manned inline with the advertised hours on our website.
Potentially this was due to staff holiday coinciding with some staff rider accident leave which left us a little short on available Rider Experience support hours in the US.
We will of course learn from the experience and feedback such as yours is incredibly helpful to help us identify areas for improvement.

Great wheels at a great price
Great wheels at a great price. This is the second pair of wheels I've bought from Hunt and the first pair I got for my XC bike are still going well after over 4 years of hard use. This time I got some carbon gravel wheels and they seem to be holding up well over some very rough terrain.

My cycling holiday to France
Planned a holiday to France and decided to buy a set of road wheels and send them to France. Upon arriving there I installed the wheels on the bike and the back wheel wound not turn. Contacted Hunt for help. They instructed me to takeoff the freehub and remove a seal, which I did. And this resolved the problem except I now have no rear seal on the freehub. So upon installing the front wheel I noticed the wheel is not true. Again contacted Hunt wheels , the e mail back apologized and said sometimes this can happen using tubeless wheels. The only problem was I am not using that setup. So I am assuming that this came from the manufacturer as such. So you can decide how many stars you would give Hunt wheels. One other note I should mention these wheels were for a Campagnolo groupset.

Hi Scott, thank you for taking the time to review your recent HUNT wheelset purchase and interaction with us.
My apologies that the purchase experience was not as smooth as we aspire to provide (I believe it was actually me that dealt with your email support ticket).
The freehub was swapped by our team to a Campagnolo unit prior to shipping, however they did not remove the additional seal on the drive side which caused your hub to bind which is what I identified and requested you remove, again our sincere apologies for this error.
As of the ticket, this does not mean that your hub is short of a seal, the freehub is also spec'd for our 4 Season hubsets which are designed to have additional seals for extra weather proofing, these are not spec'd or required on the Sprint hubset that you have, as such your hub is now completely to spec.
With regards to the wheel needing a minor true after the initial tyre fits, yes this can be required on occasion due to the tight kevlar bead on modern road tyres, it is not a question as to whether you are running a tubeless set up or not, it is a case of pretty much any quality road tyre is tubeless ready nowadays so will have the tight and secure bead that snaps into place when seating.
