Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 49 reviews, most reviewers were somewhat happy with their experience overall. Many customers report significant dissatisfaction with payment processes, frequently facing rejected or delayed payouts, often leading to account terminations. A common complaint is the lack of timely and clear communication from support, with many waiting weeks or months for any response or explanation. However, some people mentioned positive experiences with customer support, finding them helpful and responsive, and noted smooth, successful payout processes. Conversely, a small portion of people felt there was a lack of transparency regarding specific product methodologies, such as drawdown calculations.

Ambiguity and Lack of Transparency

Ambiguous and lack of transparency in their processes. While citing breach of their forbidden practices which at times is very subjective to personal strategy that can be decided as breach of rules leading to an account closure due to personal interpretation from "risk review team" instead of facts. Even after providing thought and logic process, and strategy implementation. they still decided that it is to be terminated. Fair. Ultimately they hold the power and decision to close the account. But I've sought clarification on how to curate my strategy such that it doesn't flag or would not be flagged as such, but all I got was that they have decided that I was utilising a forbidden practice and as such account closure. No response to said queries. Despite this, I don't harbour any ill-will, would have been nice to have a fixed "determination" of said forbidden practices instead of just giving a broad general explanation of said rules. Because clearly even with proper risk maintenance, and strategy with respect to all the rules, it can still lead to account closure due to discretionary decision-making by their risk review team even if they claim proper investigation as well as decisions not being taken arbitrarily in spite of no clear breach of rules and proper risk adherence.
So for any potential customers,
As long as your strategy doesn't involve too much scalping that could potentially infringe on any of their forbidden practices in anyway such as HFT, tick scalping, layering/martingaling, YOLO bets, with proper risk adherence and low risk per trade you should be fine, probably.
To those who claim ICFUNDED is a scam:
I did get payouts, so no not a scam, just disappointed with the way my case was handled. They are not the most transparent and forthcoming with explanations at times. Although they have a really quick response time from their customer support team, no fault of theirs, where there is a disconnect between them and their risk review team.
Wish the team all the best at ICFunded.
Cheers

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience and feedback.

First, we appreciate your acknowledgment that IC Funded is not a scam and that payouts were successfully received.

Our Risk Team reviews accounts using a combination of trading data, behavioral patterns, execution analysis, and consistency metrics to determine whether activity aligns with the objectives and standards of our program. These reviews are conducted carefully and are not based on arbitrary decisions.

One point we would like to highlight is your own observation that traders who avoid practices such as HFT, tick scalping, layering, martingale-style trading, YOLO-style risk exposure, and other prohibited activities, while maintaining proper risk management, will have no issues within our program.

While we understand that not every trader will agree with the outcome of a risk review, our decisions are based on a comprehensive analysis of trading activity rather than any single metric or isolated trade.

Defective traded tracking system and don't refund to me

Think a lot before buy any challange from IC funded.

I bought 50k account 2 step challange. I start with "sell order" and I losed.

What IC funded traded tracking system show information on my dashboard.

1. count as 1 long position (buy)
2. count as 1 consistency day. > consistency day is rule for 1 step account only and you have to win 1 trade to increment 1.

It's wierd and I informed to IC funded support team and they accepted that there was someting wrong on their system.

I gave IC funded almost 2 weeks to solve this problem. But no progress and no solution.

I asked support team again for refund. He accepted to inform to financial department. Again, I have waited for a week and no response. No any refund

End up here to share my experience. IC funded is unreliable.
--------------------------------------------------------
Let me answer IC funded lastest IC funded reply.

Hello Albert,

What is a free account? You don't refund the customer and just "reset the account" for a new start because of an IC funded system defect?
I don't accept your offer because it's not fair and mistakes happen from the IC funded side, not me. It's not free account. Don't lie to everyone.

I can not trust IC funded anymore. So I don't accept IC funded offer.

Your policies are legal under good service conditions, not abnormal conditions like my case.

So in my case, only one way to compensate customers is full refund. Your products and services are not good as you advertise in your media.

Please see what I waste on your products and services.

1. 14 days watse with no any solution or any progress
2. 7 days waste with no any refund.

"No significant action until I share my story on trust pilot." > Thank you trust pilot.

Total I lost 21 days because of IC funded defective system and unprofessional product and service.

You can claim what you would like to claim "Policy blaa blaa blaa" That doesn't make any sense.

Hope you and your company have luck in this business. Many customers will come to see my useful review on trust pilot.

Best regards,

Dear Teerin,

Your initial inquiry was related to the commission applied to the trade, not to an dashboard information. After reviewing both the account and trading records, we confirmed that the trade was executed correctly on the platform and that the calculation of the trade result was accurate.

The synchronization between the dashboard and the trading platform is not always immediate, which may occasionally cause temporary display inconsistencies. However, this did not affect your execution, account status, or trading outcome in any way.

Following the trade, the account was already in a negative position, and at that stage you requested a refund for a product that had already been used. As stated in our Refund Policy, refunds are not applicable once trading activity has occurred on the account.

Despite this, we still attempted to reach an amicable resolution with you as a gesture of goodwill. Unfortunately, the proposed resolution was not accepted.

We remain committed to handling all cases fairly and in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

Kind regards,

IC Funded Team

Start cheating from the last 2-3 weeks

I passed phase one challenge step and currently passing second one. I was trading low risk strategy, and risking 1:1 ratio while using trailing stop loss. Everything was fine for months, untill they changed something. My pending order was active and running in profit. Almost hit tp, trailing stop came very close brake even. Then trade turn around and hit my trailing stop. I was risking 43 dollars to get same amount. When it hit trailing stop close to break even, i lost 43 dollars, instead of loosing 1 or 2, because of brake even. And it happens same every day now. Before all was good, but now you have 0 chance to make money with them. It it hits your brake even, you loose full amount you was risking at the begining, but price never reached there. Same scenario again and again for the last 2-3 weeks. They start screwing you up for purpose. RUN AWAY AND DONT WAIST YOUR TIME

After reviewing your account, we can confirm that it is not breached. Based on our analysis, the trade you are referring to appears to match our records, and the profit and loss reflected is correct according to the pip value and the lot size (volume) used.

We are able to provide supporting evidence for this trade and are happy to share with you. Alternatively, you may contact our support team with the trade order IDs, and we will provide a full analysis of each position.

Very untrust worthy

Very untrust worthy. They will give all sorts of excuses not to pay out your profits. They should be closed. Once you meet all criteria for a payout, they will manufacture something out of so-called review. in addition the conditions they raise where not raised during the evaluation phases. It was the same method same environment. All the reviews point to the same experience; get your act together and stop misrepresenting. If some ones account is in profit there is o logic denying payouts unless if some has multiple accounts trading different directions for the same currency pair.

Your account was flagged during our risk review due to being linked to a shared network environment used by multiple accounts. This is a direct breach of our rules, which are in place to prevent coordinated activity and ensure a fair evaluation process for all traders.

Payouts are not denied arbitrarily. Every decision is based on objective data and a thorough review aligned with our terms and conditions.

I have a 10k phase 2 account. I chould always open positions on indices 0.10 and 1.00 but after the migration when i try to open 0.10 it shows i dont have enough funds even when i try 0.01 the buy and sell is grey like its to small to open a position. i contacted support but was told i must trade forex for now until i have enough margin. My current balance is 10034 on the 10k account.

Thank you for your message.

Margin requirements are not fixed per account size alone, they depend on several factors including the instrument traded, contract size, and the leverage applied. It’s important to keep in mind that indices currently operate with lower leverage compared to forex, which directly increases the margin required to open positions.

For example, with indices typically set at up to 1:20 leverage, the margin required is significantly higher than forex (which can go up to 1:50). This means that even smaller lot sizes may require more available margin than expected, especially after recent changes or migrations.

As a general reference, margin is calculated as:

Margin = (Lot Size × Contract Size × Market Price) ÷ Leverage

Because indices have larger contract sizes and lower leverage, the required margin can exceed your available free margin even on a $10,000 account, which would explain why orders like 0.10 or even 0.01 may not be executable.

That said, if you still believe this is not behaving as expected, we recommend reaching out to our support team again so they can review your account and provide a precise breakdown based on the instrument you're trying to trade.

Smooth Payouts & Great Support – Very Satisfied

I’ve had a very positive experience with this prop firm. I was paid twice without any issues — $2,025.00 USD and $1,422.75 USD — on account #90013235. The payout process was smooth and everything was handled professionally.

I also want to give special thanks to Jun and Jessica from customer support. They were very helpful, responsive, and patient whenever I had questions. Their support made the whole experience much easier and stress-free.

Overall, based on my experience, the firm delivered on their promises and processed my payouts correctly. I appreciate the professionalism and the support I received.

Payout rejected for “copy trading” with no evidence and no support response

I purchased a $100K account with IC Funded and successfully passed their 2-step challenge (first target $10K, second target $5K) while following all rules. I was granted my funded account and started trading it on February 4th (this year).

I have traded using my own strategy and my own EA. In fact, to get approval for auto-trading, I shared my EA code as part of their authorization process. I traded consistently and made approximately $10K in profit, meeting the required time, profitable days, and all trading rules. I treated this account with maximum discipline.

When I submitted my payout request, it was marked “Rejected” with a single message stating “copy trading.” To be clear: I have never used copy trading and I have not copied trades from anyone. If they claim there is any similarity, the minimum expected is proof: which trades, dates, metrics, or technical reasons support that decision.

I contacted support requesting a formal clarification and specific details (exact trades, criteria applied, and evidence), and after more than 5 days I still have no response.

I am willing to cooperate in a review, but I need transparency, clear evidence, and timely support. So far, my experience has been: you pass everything, request a payout, and it gets rejected for “copy trading” without explanation or proof.

Unfortunately we will not review your application futher, our systems detected clear evidence of coordinated copy trading behavior linked to your account. This was not a discretionary or arbitrary decision, nor was it based on superficial trade similarities. The analysis includes execution timing, trade sequencing patterns, position structuring, and correlation metrics across multiple accounts operating as a group.

As stated in our Terms and Risk Policy, copy trading, signal mirroring, or participation in coordinated trading groups is strictly prohibited in both the evaluation and funded stages. When objective data confirms this type of activity, payouts are rejected accordingly.

ICFUNDED IS A SCAM!

WARNING!
NEVER TRADE WITH ICFUNDED!

I would give this a 0 * if I could

I purchased a 50k account, passed it with flying colours. But had so many problems in between. I had to request multiple times to allow my EA to work. They ask everyone for their code for their EA (as per conversation with Jorge)
I submitted a refund request through Jorge, and it wasn't done (which is awful customer service saying you will submit my refund then you decide not to)
That's when I thought, okay I'll proceed with the account until they send my refund.
After passing, I tried to do my KYC. The service was down for a few days meaning I missed out on trading.
I then finally did my KYC, website as dodgy, no confirmation that it was done and I reattempted so many times. I then reached out to them and they said that it has been received.
Fast forward a few days later, KYC rejected, no reason why. Just an email. Saying it's been rejected. Asked them for a reason, they said they can't provide it.
ICFunded is a money grab scam. Don't even bother when you can go to different higher rated brokers.

There is a reason this rubbish company only has a 2* rating.

Update - I've requested my refund over 7 working days ago and I still haven't received it. It's a scam. They will not give you your money back

Update - tried reaching out to customer service, no response. This is theft and they have my money and are not returning it

You've been warned. DO NOT USE ICFUNDED

We would like to clarify some points about your review.

Let’s address the points raised clearly and factually:

We require review and approval of EAs in order to prevent prohibited practices such as latency exploitation, arbitrage, tick manipulation, reverse engineering of price feeds, or coordinated group activity. This is a standard risk-control procedure in the prop industry. Reviewing an EA does not mean we “take” anyone’s strategy it is strictly a compliance and risk measure.

Refunds are processed according to our published Refund Policy. Submitting a request does not automatically guarantee eligibility. If a case does not meet the refund criteria outlined in the Terms & Conditions, it will not be approved.

Regarding rejection: compliance decisions are made according to AML/KYC regulations and internal security standards. For legal and security reasons, detailed explanations cannot always be disclosed. This is standard practice across financial services and is not unique to IC Funded.

It is also important to clarify: if a trader cannot successfully pass KYC verification, they cannot trade a Funded Account. Identity verification is a mandatory regulatory requirement before any funded status can be activated. There are no exceptions to this rule.

Poor Support & Unexpected Withdrawal Rejection

My Timeline:
Jan 13: Emailed support with question about their policy - no response received
Jan 13 - Feb 2: Waited 20+ days - still no reply to my question
Feb 2: Requested withdrawal ($498, Account #90013694). Their policy states 24-48 hours processing
Feb 2-7: Sent multiple follow-up emails - no responses received
Total: 25+ days of silence
Feb 7: Posted review describing my experience with lack of communication
Feb 10: Withdrawal rejected, citing my public review as reason

My Experience:
I completed Phase 2 following all trading rules. I passed all requirements legitimately. My concern is the complete lack of support response over 25+ days, and the timing of the rejection only after I shared my experience publicly.

What Concerned Me:
Zero response to legitimate support questions
Processing time much longer than stated policy
Rejection appeared connected to my feedback

What Worked Well:
Automated evaluation system
Website functionality

My Recommendation:
Consider firms with responsive support teams. In my experience, Alpha Capital has provided better communication.
I have documentation of all communications (emails, dates, account records) if needed.

Fwd: Reply to ICFunded”s reply based on initial review.

IC Markets, I have no idea what your reply was set to achieve. You have not addressed the key concern. IC Markets who was initially used as marketing leverage, was told to be your sister company. A highly regulated forex broker. What you have done and stand guildty for is change pricing of financial products before advising customers. Yes the before packages stay the same, however as a financial institution selling financial products for gain you were supposed to advise well in advance. Not change things and letting customers know when you eventually get there. No wonder you never really saw the liftoff in this space no matter who the sister company is. You treat this business as a backyard High yield investment scam like we saw a couple of years ago, this is clearly visible in your ratings, support replies and the action you take. Like many, im moving on

I will attached a part of the support chat to this mail.

ICFunded clearly has no intention of setting the standard (I thought they did and not sure why ICMarkets.com did not advise on this). They changed rules and pricing before officially informing customers, following in the steps of every fraudulent prop out there:

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

To clarify, the trading conditions of challenges that have already been purchased do not change. All traders continue under the exact same rules and parameters they agreed to at the time of purchase.

What we have introduced is a new product with more competitive conditions. As part of this improvement, we have removed trailing drawdowns and replaced them with static drawdowns across all programs, which is widely considered a more trader-friendly and transparent.

For traders operating normally on individual accounts, we do not see how these changes could have a negative impact. The only scenarios affected would be those involving multiple accounts used for statistical arbitrage or similar strategies, which fall outside our intended use and risk framework.

Payout denied for alleged “layering” with no evidence provided

I joined IC Funded after paying $500 for their challenge. When I successfully passed Phase 1, after more than a month almost daily trading, I had to contact support to pass me to Phase 2 because as I was told the system didn't count all my trading days.
After passing phase 2, I contacted the support team again and received a funded account (no 90014036).
After two weeks (minimum time) I submitted my first withdrawal request.
IC Funded rejected the payout, claiming I was practicing "layering".
My trading consisted of normal CFD execution on US30, with realistic position sizes for the instrument and with no changes at the three stages. I did not place deceptive orders, cancel large orders to manipulate price, or engage in any prohibited market behavior or multiple trades.
I asked support to clearly indicate:
which trades were considered layering,
how they violated the rules,
and if so why this was not detected during Phase 1 or Phase 2, but no-one answered, just terminated the account.
The people at the live chat, don't even bother to assist you, only give you copy paste answers and close the conversation.

I would strongly advise anyone not to deposit any amount with IC Funded, and start a challenge, given the substantial negative evidence we have from the majority of traders.

We would like to clarify that payout decisions are never made arbitrarily. Your account was reviewed by our risk team after the withdrawal request, at which point trading behavior consistent with prohibited layering practices was identified. This review process applies to all funded accounts and is independent of the evaluation phases.

I waited 17days for my payout I traded same pattern during evaluation phase 1 and phase 2 and suddenly after repeated enquiry and raising a ticket my payout was rejected and account is terminated under title layering / grid and my strategy involves buying smaller lots like 0.2 x 25 = 0.5 lots all condensed in a single buy zone which they flagged as layering to be honest I was not expecting to get paid second time with these scammed if this was the case why was my evaluation phase exempted.just bs people wake up and move on to reputed firms don't waste your money.

In your case, the trading activity was reviewed by our risk team and was flagged under prohibited trade structuring rules, which is why the payout was not approved and the account was terminated in accordance with our Terms.

Our investigation identified multiple violations of rules, specifically relating to prohibited execution behavior. This includes, but is not limited to:

Repeated high-frequency trade bursts executed within seconds

Layered and clustered order placement

Automated or algorithmic trading, which are stricty prohibited if is masked.

We do not reject payouts arbitrarily, and every decision is based on documented rule enforcement to protect the integrity of the program for all participants.

Thank you for your review. We would like to clarify the situation for transparency.

Your account was not left indefinitely “under review.” Following a full investigation by our risk and compliance team, the account was terminated due to a confirmed breach of IC Funded’s security and trading integrity policies.

Specifically, our systems detected account access activity involving multiple IP addresses and geographic locations within overlapping timeframes. This behavior is strictly prohibited, as it raises serious concerns regarding account sharing, unauthorized access, or circumvention of program controls.

For this reason, the account was closed in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

For privacy and security reasons, we cannot discuss further account-specific details publicly on Trustpilot.

No Support, Account Deleted, and Payout Denied

I am very disappointed with how IC Funded has handled my case.

My payout request was rejected under the allegation of “Signal-Assisted Trading.” I strongly disagree with this decision. All of my trades were executed manually, without using any signal services, copy trading, or automated tools.

Following the rejection, I submitted multiple written appeals via email, politely requesting a clear, detailed, and transparent explanation of the decision. Specifically, I asked which trades were considered problematic, on what basis the conclusion was reached, and whether any technical evidence supports the claim.

To make matters worse, my account on the cTrader platform disappeared without any further notification or explanation, and since then, I have received no further communication from IC Funded.

Unfortunately, I have received no response whatsoever — not even an acknowledgment. This lack of communication is particularly concerning given the financial relevance of the matter and the seriousness of the allegation.

A professional proprietary trading firm should be able to communicate clearly, justify its decisions, and respond to formal inquiries.

IC Funded strictly prohibits signal-assisted trading, copy trading, and any form of strategy replication, whether automated or manual. Our systems are specifically designed to detect signal-based behavior patterns, including externally assisted decision-making that does not reflect independent trading skill.

In this case, our internal monitoring tools identified trading activity consistent with signal-assisted execution, which constitutes a breach of our trading rules. The evaluation and funded stages exist to assess genuine trading ability not system exploitation or assisted strategies.

I don't have an account with you right…

I don't have an account with you right now, but I want to buy something. However, a comment you made below has confused me.

In one comment, you mentioned a 1% risk limit. I reviewed your rules and didn't see any such rule. Do you have secret rules?

''Please note that the 1% risk limit per purchase and the 1-hour cooldown are targeted risk controls that our team may only apply when trading behavior (win or loss) indicates high risk that could jeopardize the funded phase. However, this is not a default rule and is common practice across the industry. ''

To clarify, IC Funded does not have secret or undisclosed rules. All standard trading rules applicable to evaluations and funded accounts are publicly listed and available for review before purchase.

The comment you referenced relates to exceptional risk controls, which are not default rules and are not applied to all traders. These measures may only be introduced on a case-by-case basis if trading behavior shows clear signs of excessive or abnormal risk that could jeopardize account integrity during the funded phase. This is a protective mechanism, not a hidden rule, and aligns with common industry practices.

For the vast majority of traders who follow the published rules, no additional limitations are applied. Transparency and fairness are core principles for us, and we encourage anyone considering a purchase to review our rules or contact support for clarification before proceeding.

I wasn’t risking anywhere near 1% per…

I wasn’t risking anywhere near 1% per trade, and all my trades had tight stop losses. My risk was controlled the whole time. Just because I was profitable or used margin doesn’t mean I was doing anything reckless.

Using margin with tight stops is not the same as YOLO trading, and nothing I did was random or out of control. My strategy was consistent and managed properly.

So I’m honestly confused how my trading got classified as high-risk when the actual risk per trade was low.

YOLO trading” typically refers to random, undisciplined, or impulsive behavior with no defined risk management. That is not the same as using margin with a structured strategy and stop losses.

However, our risk assessments are not based solely on per-trade risk or stop-loss size. They evaluate account-level exposure, including margin utilization, cumulative exposure across positions, and how the account behaves under different market conditions. Even with tight stops, very high margin usage can create elevated account risk due to slippage, volatility spikes, or execution gaps

UnfortI feel cheated. I definitely don't recommend it.unately

Unfortunately, I feel cheated. When I created the account, the rules were clearly stated, and I specifically inquired about them via email. After completing the first phase, I received a second bill and two days later, information that I had broken the game rules. I inquired about which ones, as I hadn't broken the ones I received via email. No contact for two weeks, despite four emails. As I wrote, I feel cheated because you try hard and end up getting cheated.

EDIT: 2015.12.30
IC Found responded to a comment on Trustpilot today. They wrote that each case is reviewed individually. It's great, however, that for over a month, no one has responded to my complaints, questions, etc. I've sent four emails during this time and received no response. They simply closed my account, which I hadn't placed any orders on, and that's it. How can anyone trust such a company?
