I have been looking for a good accounting course for some time. I finally found Ideal Schools with a lot of positive reviews so I decided to go with them. It was the best decision. I passed ICB level 2 and 3 bookkeeping. Study materials are beey well prepared and easy to understand even for foreigners whose English is not their first language.
There have been a few occasions where I needed support from Ideal school and they have always been very helpful. Brian was amazing, really supportive and patient.

I definitely recommend Ideal School to everyone who would like to start their adventure with bookkeeping.

Tutor was very helpful and friendly. Course was flexible meaning I was able to complete the course along side AAT and working in accounts and payroll.

Ideal Schools are just the best! The study materials are set out really well, so you don't feel totally overwhelmed when opening that first folder. The tutors are always just a phone call or email away if you need any help or advice. They are always happy to help.
I am in the process of applying for my practice licence now after completing my Levels 2 and 3 in Bookkeeping and Accounts (something I never thought I'd hear myself saying)
Then on to SAT's and Diploma in Payroll to complete my "Self-employment Package"
I am so happy I chose Ideal Schools. The support has been amazing! The facebook group helps so much too!

I have studied with Ideal Schools for both Self Assessment and more recently Payroll.

I am a visual learner and do not always find reading study books the best way for me to take everything in, but the support I got from my tutor made it a lot easier to break down in a way that It did stick.

I found that the admin staff were always very helpful and If I decide to study any other subjects in the future, I would definitely go back to Ideal Schools.

The course work was all well laid out and very easy to understand.
Assignments were marked quickly and feedback given.

Ideals schools give their students fantastic support throughout their studies which is so important when you are learning remotely. Their coursework is very explanatory and tutors are always happy to help if you have a problem. I can't recommend them highly enough!

The course was laid out in an easy to understand way. The tutor marked assignments covered everything in the study text and were returned with suggested corrected answers, which was vital in learning from mistakes. The course also had questions at the end of each chapter and a comprehensive workbook with answers. Assignments were quickly marked by Louise, sometimes the same day, which meant I didnt have to wait days to see if I was on the right track.
It took me a month from start to finish.

Great course if you want to study independently, good study materials, all easy to follow. Excellent help from the tutors if needed. Fits in well with other commitments, you can work at your own pace depending on the time you have available each week/month. Thoroughly recommend Ideal Schools as a training provider.

I completed the Level 2 Certificate in Computerised Bookkeeping (Xero) in February 2023. The lady who taught the course, Marion, was spot on. The way she explained the material using actual live demonstrations made it very easy to understand. I particularly enjoyed the way Marion demonstrated different ways to use the software to produce the same results allowing students to determine which way worked best for them. The way everything was explained made it possible for me to complete this module in just a few days with only a couple of minor errors in the various assignments. That said, I was able to quickly and easily correct those errors, again due to the way using the software package was explained. A great session and full marks to Marion for her natural teaching method.

I have really enjoyed my distance learning of AAT Bookkeeping through Ideal Schools. The study packs were detailed and informative with the assignments testing my knowledge throughout. The tutors were always on hand with any answers to questions and were very helpful and encouraging. I would definitely recommend!

I’m currently working towards the Level 3 Payroll. After a number of false starts l really was unsure of myself but the encouragement, patience and support of the team has been simply outstanding. With the option to pay as you go and taking care of your initial membership to the related professional body is a real bonus. They have kept pace with the times and now have two leading software options for you to choose from.

The course work is clearly laid out with a digital version which has been the game changer for me and l’m able to pull out my iPad and study. Highly recommended.

Ideal Schools are made up of an amazing bunch of people who are truly supportive and encouraging in anyone who wants to further their studies. I have taken Levels 2 to 4 with them and although Level 4 was certainly a step up, they couldnt have been more helpful. My tutor for 2 of the level 4 courses was Caryl Gibson and she was so very patient and extremely helpful with all my questions before my exam. I would absolutely recommend Ideal Schools to anyone wishing to take the ICB bookkeeping courses. Well done to Brian and the whole team.

I've just completed ICB Level 2 with Ideal Schools. The coursework was easy to follow, and if I ever had questions, Brian and other colleagues at Ideal Schools were really helpful. I'm a complete beginner to the world of finance with no previous knowledge and I currently work in the NHS (not a finance related role). I passed every exam first time no problems and I'm on my way to a new career as a self employed bookkeeper thanks to Ideal schools. I managed to complete level 2 in under 1 year alongside working, renovating and looking after my children thanks to the way the course is structured. I would recommend this training provider to anyone who is considering it.

As was previously the case with my bookkeeping courses, the support was great. Before I began these courses, I'd heard stories of learning providers who, once they had you paid up, didn't fully support you but Ideal Schools have never acted that way. Even when it was a subject I just didn't get, they would repeatedly and patiently respond to my questions until I finally did understand.
My tutor Louise was very knowledgeable and as previously mentioned, patient. Thank you very much Louise and if there was anything else then there was always the rock solid, dependable Brian to sort things out.

I have been doing ICB courses with Ideal Schools for the past 10 years and they are really good. I have managed to pass all exams from first time. Support is always there and it is amazing. You can ask the tutor any question and they will respond and make you undestand it. I am very greatfull to the whole team as i had different tutors during this time as i did various courses. Highly recomend them

Another great course from Ideal Schools. Material is always very easy to follow and available both in paper manual and digitally which is great. Tutor support second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
